Good Intentions

Liam’s POV

I have retraced Harry’s steps as much as I possibly can. I walk into the tattoo parlor and speak with them. They tell me about a tattoo they were planning on doing, a cover up. I know if he was fine, he would not have missed that appointment. I watch as Niall looks at the different pictures on the wall. He stands at the book and looks at some sketches that the book is opened to. He comments on one being cool and the artist responds that a girl had that done on the day Harry was last in. I ask if he knows her name and he looks it up. He got a signature on the release but she paid in cash. The guy is being very helpful so I don’t push for too much detail, I get her name is Meghan, last name I cant make out.

I throw a hundred on the counter and leave. We get in the car and I make a call. I tell them everything we found out which happens to be more than their paid detectives.

Naill’s chewing his fingernails, I kiddingly slap his hand out of his mouth, his finger finds itself right back to his mouth. I leave it alone this time, he’s extremely nervous, I question chewing my own.

We make our way down to the recording studio where he supposed to be that morning. We walk in and say hey to everyone then ask them if Harry came in at all that morning. We were assured he did but didn’t stay long, him saying he had things to do.

I step out and light a cigarette, trying to think. We’ve hit a brick wall. Any of his movements from that day to the actual day he disappeared are unknown. His security know of his comings and goings and insist it was nothing out of the ordinary. Then he’s gone. Vanished.
