I live in Des Moines. I'm in KC several times a year though. My parents have season tickets for the Chiefs so I go down for games on occasion. And no it's not creepy. I write characters that are midwest based so it's logical. KC is probably my favorite city. I am a Cubs fan which is where reality influences fiction. Though if I'm looking to the American League I was #raisedroyal. ;) My Dad can't stand that he somehow raised two rowdy obnoxious Cubs fans when he's a royals fan.

Thank you so much!!! Your kind words mean so much to me. Writing is one of my favorite things and a release from stress, which I've needed A LOT recently. I was starting to feel down about this chapter because it wasn't quite so 'busy'. I just wanted there to be sweet moments and relationship growth, not the whole circus the whole time. And I also LOVE James Corden so I felt that it would be a good one to add in. I want to start to show some of Harry's relationships the way we get to see Everlee's. And I had been thinking of Harlee! So be prepared if that ends up as my winner you get to name the character!

Your story is amazing and I don't know why your rating went down, but you deserve a 10. Each chapter has so much detail and it allows your audience to grasp your characters as if we are getting to know them in our own lives. It's amazing. I love how Harry and Everlee are growing and how you brought James Corden into the story (he's amazing. I love him lol), Uh this story just makes me so happy and you're writing is impeccable. I'm just so excited to see where this goes and I'm so glad I get to follow along with your story with you. For a ship name... hmm.... possibly Harrlee? Eek I'm not sure... that's hard lol

Thank you so much for your kind words. Evie's internal debates are funny and fun to write. She's one of my favorite characters I've ever written.

I'm so glad you loved it. Writing the scene where he confronts her about Joe gave me anxiety. I wanted to convey it in just the right manner. And I'm glad you'd caught the foreshadowing I'd been doing about it. Telling James was a big deal and is going to make Chicago easier on her because having Harry there will be so much fun. And let me tell you, Chicken Parm is my favorite food. My cousins own a restaurant and the Chicken Parm with white sauce is my death row meal. It's my favorite thing on this planet. I was like "what could she make that is Italian and delicious and can be done different ways" and I was like CHICKEN PARM! And then I wanted to eat it and tonight I was at an event catered by my cousins and there was no chicken parm. :( I'm so glad you enjoyed ten, it was one of my favorite chapters to write. I love seeing the shift in their relationship. Thank you for reading and I appreciate your comments so much!

I love this so much. Omg. I was so happy when Harry confronted her about Joe, I thought he was acting strange about their relationship in the previous relationship! And ah I'm so happy they told her dad and that Harry is going to Chicago! That's going to be so fun to read hehe. I can't wait! And omg I love chicken parm and this chapter made me hungry as heck even though it's already 11pm here lol. I love this story so much and I can't wait for more!

I will try to provide some of the direct links in the author's note for things. On Tumblr I occasionally do posts that are meant to act as what would be the character's instagram posts in between chapters. And there's a LOT of photos of Harry. But I will definitely try to include a lot more of the stuff on here. And the houses are amazing....wait until you see the condo in New York, the house in Chicago and James' house. OH MY GOD. I had way too much fun picking houses. I do also have the link to Harry's actual house because as a Zillow addict I have that one saved. Haha. I'm glad you enjoyed the chapter. I'm about 6,000 words into chapter ten and should hopefully be posting it soon. :)

I'm glad you enjoyed it! And yes, Harry getting to go over for the night and spend some time with Everlee and her roommates was a very good thing. Malibu should be a LOT of fun and perhaps a little unnerving for Everlee with her Dad appearing. Grace, oh that crazy lady inviting Harry to Chicago! We will have to see if he tags along with her. :)

I love this so much and I'm soooo glad Harry got to go over for the night and is going to Malibu. So many adventures ahead for them! I hope he gets to meet Grace too, but I'm super nervous about what her dad is going to say... eek. Can't wait for more!

I do wonder what her Dad will think. I'm also glad that Harry didn't stop pursuing her. I didn't want it to be something so quick because their banter clearly is wonderful and I can't wait to see what they are capable of when they know more about each other.

It's a struggle isn't it? I think I've found a way through the block I had, at least I hope so. I mean I wrote over 8,000 words yesterday and I've barely got 2,000 today, that makes it tough but it's also good progress. :) Thanks for the encouraging words. If I can ever offer them back I will. :)

I love this so much. I'm glad things are still good between her and Harry and that he's still pursuing her and doesn't just leave her as a one night stand. I can't wait to see where their relationship goes, if it progresses or if they try to keep it professional. And I wonder what her dad is going to think... eek, can't wait to see what happens at and after dinner lol
