Styles -On Hold-

I just had to see her before she went to bed because it still bothered me that she defied me in front of my guys. I really had to learn her a lesson, so she wouldn’t do something that stupid again. I walked over to her house and was happy when her mother let me in without any fuss. I asked her to not tell Anna that I was here, I wanted to surprise her.

Her mother was all to happy to keep quiet as she found it really cute. I now had time to look around and I wasn’t disappointed, I found out quite a lot about her personality, she was kind of a nerd, she was obsessed with “the vampire diaries” I looked at her MacBook and saw that she wrote a blog, I quickly saved the link in my phone because I really needed to check that out later.

I looked through her closet and wasn’t disappointed, when I saw her style, she had a laid back style and I couldn’t help but smile when I saw her small collection of vans. I was a bit surprised when I saw glasses on her night stand, these must be her spare ones, I touched them as my eyes fell on the books, she had a lot of young adult books, she really was my personal nerd and probably a dreamer, which was going to be hard because dreamers live in their own little bubble and I was going to be the one who was going to burst that bubble, I almost felt bad about it.

I sat down on her bed and waited, I was happy when I finally heard her talk to her mother, She was making her way upstairs but not as fast as I would like, she must be tired of the boxing lesson. She walked through the door and I smiled when I saw how tired she looked and she even had a bruise on her arm. She stopped when she saw me and even narrowed her eyes at me. “What are you doing here?” she asked me from her doorway, she refused to move closer, which I could understand but I wasn’t having it, I needed her closer.
I did see the anger and hatred in her eyes, she really didn’t like me but I knew this was going to change soon even if she didn’t know this. “I heard that you are taking boxing lessons” and she actually slapped herself in the face, as she realized that the guys in the club where working for me, I chuckled at the sight and she turned her eyes back to me, she was not happy. “Did you just hit yourself Anna?” I chuckled and I saw her ball her fists as she turned her eyes to the ground.

“God of course you know, who was it? Louis or that black haired guy?” She asked me, whilst I was checking her out and her red cheeks told me she knew I was checking her out. “It was Louis. He said you were really nice to him” I know she was intrigued by my low voice, you could tell by the way she shifted and due to the fact that she had goose bumps all over her arms. This made me happy because it meant she wasn’t untouched by my presence. “I’m a nice person, Harry.” She actually roller her eyes at me, which I didn’t like, it made me even angry.

“Why aren’t you nice towards me?” I asked through clenched teeth and she chuckled but you could tell she was getting nervous, which was a good thing because it meant that she knew she was on thin ice right now. “Why would I?” She realised she made a mistake when she saw the anger on my face. “Because you’re mine, that’s why!” She was not impressed and burst out in laughter, this made me jump up from her bed and as I made my way towards her, she tried to make a run for it, put I grabbed her arm and pulled her back inside, I quickly closed the door and locked it because I didn’t want bystanders right now.

I turned around and wasn’t surprised to see she was already on the other side of her room but I didn’t care, I walked slowly to where she was standing and eventually she hit a wall, which made me smile. She was trapped again and she knew something was going to happen and she was right, I never like to punish women but she really pushed me. I just couldn’t think clearly anymore, I did notice that she was breathing a little harder, which meant that she was actually a bit turned on, this was good but it didn’t stop me from coming at her. I grabbed her hair roughly and pulled it hard enough to make her yelp and that triggered something in me and I just lost it. “Look what you make me do, if you didn’t defy me, I wouldn’t have to punish you.” She was a bundle of nervous and starting laughing, which was her biggest mistake because it only fuelled my anger.

“Why don’t you tell me the rules than? She asked angry and this was too much as everything became black, it was like I lost myself that moment because never had anyone treated me like this except for my father and there is a reason he isn’t around anymore. Before I really knew what was happening, my fist connected with her face and as my fist hit her I noticed the glasses which were now on the floor and broken. Her eye was already turning black but she hadn’t lost conscience. She was staring at me with her good eye and I just looked at her in my rage and couldn’t see past her disobedience and next thing I know she actually kicks me in the balls and this made me sink through my knees. God that hurts, she tried to walk away from me but I quickly grabbed her by her ankle, which made her fall flat one her face, she tried to kick my hand away but I was already up and I held her to the floor when I heard her mom yell if everything was alright.

I stared her down, telling her with my eyes that she better made something up. “Yeah mom, I just dropped some books, sorry.” She yelled back and it made me laugh and I couldn’t help but stroke her hair. She tried to pull away from me but I only held her tighter. “Please let go of me Harry.” She actually pleaded with me, I was calmed down again and actually let go of her. I looked at her and waited till she was standing again, I couldn’t help but smile at her. “I love a good fight but I will always win, just remember that love.” I told her whilst I caressed her cheek, I stepped closer and she tried to pull back but I quickly put my hand behind her head and kissed her on her forehead. I really didn’t want to leave through the front door, so I left through her window.

The minute I stepped into my house, I called Liam and told him to meet me here. Not long after, I heard the car. I quickly stepped outside and Liam stopped when he saw me. I know I looked horrible but that’s what you get when you beat someone. The thing was that I was actually regretting beating her up. It’s not like she did something that would make me react like that and now I also had to fear charges because there was no way she would let me get away with something like this.

I filled Liam in and Liam just stared at me in in pure horror. “Why in the hell did you do that? Are you out of your goddamn mind?” he even went as far to hit me in the arm.

“I don’t know what happened but I just lost it, when she starting laughing at me.”

“Are you still taking your meds?” I nodded but I failed to mention that it was a new prescription and that they weren’t fully working yet. I turned when I heard the front door open of the neighbours and I was shocked to see Anna, she was looking really bad and that was my fault, her father was walking beside her and they were hurrying towards their car. I froze when she turned her eyes at me, she was in serious pain and I was the one who did that to her, I was utterly disgusted with myself and as I threw a glance at Liam, I know he was shocked as well. ”Mate, she looks horrible, what did you do to her!”

“I hit her and I also made her fall on her face.” I admitted feeling like a total dick. Liam punched me again “You have to fix this, because she is not going to forgive or forget this, so if you really want her, better get your act together and fix it.” I sighed because he was right but I also knew that she would be drawn to me no matter what because without even touching her, I already made turned on but I wasn’t going to tell Liam this.

“Maybe we should go to the hospital to see if she is okay.” I was hesitant about this because what if she told her dad or someone else. I really couldn’t have the cops around; I mean they usually let me do my thing but this was different.

“We are going to the hospital, I don’t care about the cops, I mean you should have thought about that before you hit her in the first place.” Liam grabbed my arm and actually dragged me with him to his car.

I didn’t object and just sat there staring out of the window and feeling anxious all the way. Liam parked the car near the entrance and as we made our way into the hospital, I glanced around to see if there were cops but I only saw the hospital staff and I did try to spot Anna but there was no sign of her. I sighed as Liam asked about Anna and the nurse told us that miss Lewis was already on her way home and would fully heal, we thanked the woman and made our way back to the car.

“Could you bring me home, I’m really not in the mood for the club tonight.” Liam nodded and dropped me at my place. I looked up to see that is was completely dark in Anna’s room but her window was still open, I just had to take the chance that she wasn’t in her room yet. I quickly climbed on her balcony with a rose, good thing my mother grew those and stepped inside her room. I scanned the room for a note and was happy to find one. I took a deep breath and wrote down.

“I’m sorry for hurting you, I’m sorry for not controlling my anger, I’m sorry for the fact that I can’t let you go and most of all I’m sorry that I picked you to love.”

I put down the note with the rose next to the note and left her room.
