I was still feeling angry towards the girl who tried to get away from me and I know I couldn’t let her get away with it but I didn’t want to hurt her but what if that was the only way to get her to listen to me. My mind was definitely playing tricks on me and it was driving me crazy.

I mean I’m supposed to be a dangerous guy and I would never allowed a girl whom I was pursuing treat me like Anna was treating me. It’s not that I wanted to hurt her but I couldn’t risk her endangering my status as a dangerous man. I know I should’ve let the guys stay because I was going to do something I would regret but I had to wait until she felt safe again. I know this was a bad idea but there was nothing I could do, I didn’t see any other way.

I stared at her window and the moment her lights got turned on. I kept staring at her room and wasn’t disappointed when I saw her in nothing but a towel. She had obviously had taken a shower. I decided to face-time her and to my surprise she even picked up the phone. “Hi love, you forgot to close your curtains.”

Her face went down to her body and I saw the colour appear on her cheeks, she had totally forgotten that she was wearing nothing but a towel. “Did you have a nice shower Anna.” I know I must sound creepy but it didn’t matter. “Fuck.” I couldn’t help but chuckle at her swearing because it just sounded so damn cute but what I didn’t like was that she just hangs up on me. I didn’t really expect something else but it still annoyed the crap out of me. I kept staring at her window when she suddenly flipped me off, which made me laugh out loud, men she was feisty and it really was too bad, that I had to get rid of that.


I decided to let her win this one because there really was no need for me to go over and do whatever it is I have to do to get her in line. I was going to stay in today because I really didn’t feel like playing the boss and to my luck I had my own personal gym in the basement.

I walked down and started on cardio when I got a call from my gym. “Speak.”

“Boss, I’ve got a new subscription for the gym.” I didn’t quite get why he was bothering me with that. “So?”

“I thought you would like to know that it’s Anna, she entered for boxing lessons.”

“Really? Well just make sure she learns what she wants to learn and I will send two guys over tomorrow who can keep an eye on her.” I ended the call and continued running. Who should I send, it couldn’t be Niall or Liam because she would recognise them and I couldn’t go myself. I stopped running and started dialling Louis’s phone.

“What’s up boss.”

“Louis I need you to go to the gym tomorrow with Zayn.”

“Uh, why?”

“Anna, just signed up and I need you two to keep an eye on things and tell me how she did.” I explained and the look Louis was giving me said it all. He wasn’t happy about this. “Harry is she really worth all this trouble?”

“She is and I really don’t have to explain myself to you.” I hung up before he could say anything else because he was biased as he wanted me for himself. I mean I act like I don’t notice it but I know jealousy when I see it. I saw it with every girl I hooked up and I know I should talk to him about it but I didn’t want to embarrass him but I do have to keep an eye on him with Anna because if he hurts her, I will kill him. It’s not only Louis that I have to keep an eye on, it’s Niall as well especially when I saw how he looked at Anna the first time he saw her. I know he developed a crush on her but this could also be something I could use.

I sighed and decided it was time to hit the sack because tomorrow was going to be a long day. I went straight to my bed but watched a movie before sleeping. Even I need some normality once in a while, sometimes I forget that I’m just twenty-two.

The next day I was woken up by a call and when I looked at the time I was shocked to see that it was already this late. I quickly took the call not surprised to hear Louis’s voice. “Anna is doing well.” Was his report but I wasn’t satisfied with that, I needed more details.

“And?”

“And what? She is taking her first boxing lesson and she is getting her arse kicked.”

“What does that mean?” I heard him sigh and I know he was rolling his eyes at me and I wasn’t surprised that not long after I heard Zayn’s voice coming through the phone. “He is learning her to defend herself and she is getting her arse kicked but she doesn’t give up, she is stubborn. You picked out a good one this time Harry.” I chuckled at that but also didn’t ignore the wonder in Zayn’s voice.

“Thanks for telling me.”

“Can I ask you why this girl?” Zayn asked curiously but I couldn’t tell him that not through a phone. This really sound stupid but it’s going to sound really sappy and I couldn’t tell them without having some alcohol in my system.

“Yeah can’t tell you that right now mate, just make sure she gets through her first training. I hung up the phone and took a quick shower, smiling at the thought that I pushed her into defence classes. She needed them as Bradley’s gang will notice me hanging around her and they won’t hesitate to use her against me, the minute they get the chance. So it's a good thing she is doing this because she is going to need to defend herself.

I know it's not fair to her, that I put her in this situation, without her knowing it and I really was looking forward to see how she would handle it all. It was probably going to scare her but she isn't a quitter so she will stay strong, at least I was really hoping she would but I wasn't going to leave her, so she could always lean on me.
