I watched her room and was surprised that it took her that long to go to sleep. I wasn’t surprised that she closed her window, not that it would keep me out, as the lock on the window was broken, she just didn’t know that. I waited until it was past midnight and climbed my way up to her room and opened the window. I wasn’t making any sound when I finally was in her room, just to be sure she was sleeping. The minute I was sure she was I made my way over to her bed and peeped my head through the curtains, she was sleeping peacefully, which was a relief. I spotted the bruise on her face and I couldn’t help but trace it with my finger, I sighed softly as the guilt was washing through me. How could I have been so stupid?! I shouldn’t have done that, I need to keep my temper under control when I’m around her, I just have to get use to the idea of someone who isn’t obeying my every whim.

She was becoming restless, which was definitely my cue to leave before she saw me here. She didn’t need me right now, she needed to get her strength back because this was not the end, it was just beginning, at the end of the week she was going to be in my gang, if she liked it or not. I jump on the grass and quickly made my way back to my own house and just crashed on the couch, there was no point in me going back to bed now as it was almost morning. I had a lot of things to do tomorrow and one of those things was warning Anna, that she couldn’t go to the cops.

I had a feeling that Anna was going to do something but I just didn’t want to follow her this morning but I knew someone who could. I called Niall and he picked up right away. “Harry.”

“Hey so is there a chance you can watch Anna’s house for me, like now?”

“I’m on my way, is there a reason why you want me there?”

“Yes, she doesn’t hate you and I’m tired.”

“Fair enough, I’m there within a few minutes, I guess she can’t see me.”

“It’s better if she doesn’t.”

I hung up and took a shower and not long after I received a text from Niall that she went for a run and that he was following. I chuckled as I knew how much Niall hated to run and now he didn’t have a choice. Nothing in his text told me he knew what I did to her but I was afraid of what he would do to me if he saw her face and made the connection, not that he would harm me because I didn’t have trouble pulling the trigger on him, which he knew.

I grabbed breakfast and made my way into town, just to inspect some things, Louis was meeting up with me when I stepped into Starbucks. “I heard what you did.”

“Liam told you?” I asked him surprised, I didn’t think Liam would tell the others. “Not really, I made him drunk and that’s when he told me.” He shrugged and that didn’t sit well with me because Liam couldn’t really handle his alcohol and was tempted into addiction a few times. “Why in the hell would you made him drunk, you know that’s not a good idea.”

“I know but he needs to let lose a bit more and this was the only way that would succeed.”

“Okay why did you want him to get lose?” I was genuinely curious because even though Louis has a real mean streak he normally doesn’t use it against Liam.

“Well he has been down lately and I just thought he needed a warm body to have fun with, so I made him drink and next thing I know he is leaving with this brunette.” He shrugged but I still couldn’t help but shake my head as it was really not a good thing to do. “I know you think it was the right thing to do Louis but next time, think before you act because he does have a serious problem with alcohol and you know that.”

“Damn Harry, since when are you being this soft, it’s that girl isn’t?” I wasn’t sure what he was talking about. “Whatever Louis, let’s just get this over with.”

We walked into the pub and sat down as Bradley walked in with one of his men. Louis stood up to make sure nobody raised their gun but I really wasn’t in the mood for something like that. “Bradley.”

“Harry.” We stared at each other and to be honest I really should kill him on the spot but I couldn’t right now. “What do you want Bradley.”
“I want you to stay away from my side of the city and this is not the first time we discussed this.” I wasn’t sure what he was talking about because I was sure that I didn’t trespass.

“I haven’t been on your turf, so this is really useless.” I shrugged but Bradley shook his head and signalled one of his men and before I knew what was happening, there was actually a gun pointed at my head but I didn’t break a sweat because there was no real danger, as Bradley was in my pub and all the people in this pub where with me and pointing their guns at his head,

“I don’t know what your problem is but I know for a fact that I didn’t step on your turf, so you better stop this before I will kill you.” I said through clenched teeth, I stood up and put my hands on the table, completely ignoring the gun that was pushed against my skull. “You’re girl was on my turf, if I see her one more time, there were she doesn’t belong, you don’t have to worry about killing her yourself because I will be the one that puts a bullet into her skull, you understand.”

“My girl? What are you talking about and if you don’t stop threatening me, I will kill you a lot faster than you can kill me.”

“Yes your girl, the girl with dark blond hair and lovely grey eyes.” I was quiet when he said that because when did she trespass? This didn’t make any sense. “Yeah I thought that would ring a bell, what’s her name?” he asked but I just stared at him. If Bradley thought something was rude, it was staring without saying a thing.

“That’s none of your business and again she is not my girl, she is just my neighbour and that’s all.” I had to make him believe me, for Anna’s sake but I saw the glint of challenge in his eyes as he smirked at me. “If you say so but still you should tell your lovely neighbour that she was trespassing or I could tell her in person.”

“Stay away from her Bradley.” I raised my voice which betrayed me in every way possible. “Not your girl huh.” He laughed as he got up “It was not a pleasure in seeing you, next time she trespasses, I will make sure she will know that she is not welcome.” With that he left my pub and Louis took his seat and just stared at me.

“You know, you made a mistake right, he will go after her, maybe not in person but he will chase her.” I nodded because he was right but there was not much I could do about it. I couldn’t stay away from her but with that I put her in danger and not only her but her parents as well.

I was just discussing how to get her parents out when Niall stormed in and went straight at me, he must have seen Anna’s face. He actually had the nerve of grabbing me by me shirt and lifted me out of my chair. “HOW COULD YOU DO THAT TO HER!” He was really shouting at me and if I didn’t know I was stronger than him, I would be scared but I just looked at him with disinterest. “Put me down Niall.”

“WHY, WHAT DID SHE DO TO YOU, THAT YOU HAD TO BEAT HER UP!” He was so angry at me that he didn’t see the danger that was surrounding him. I felt my anger taking over and next thing I know my fist connected with his stomach, making him do a double take, which made him let go of my shirt. I grabbed my gun and put it against his head. “Get up.” I know I sounded ice cold because he immediately got up and assessed his situation knowing that if he said one more thing I wasn’t afraid of pulling the trigger.

“What I do with Anna, is none of your business. Yes I hit her but only because she was defying her, should I maybe took a different direction, probably but I lost my temper with her and I’m sorry for that but don’t you dare come in here and get in my face over something like that, next time you do that I will kill your sorry arse, you understand?”

Niall nodded carefully and took a step back. I put my gun back and walked out of the pub, knowing that Niall’s hate towards me got intensified.
