Harry's P.O.V


I can't believe Paul let me leave in the middle of tour, but it was an emergency. I just had to be back for our next concert in Melbourne in three days. Tess and I were just going to pick up Lucy's brother Tyler and then head to Lucy's flat. She had really hit rock bottom. The partying, the alcohol and now drugs. I couldn't help to remember the first time Lucy had partied with Cara and was offered cocaine, she had declined and we had pinky promised she would never test any drugs. And here we are. She needs help, and obviously I can't be the one to help her. Not right now.
Lucy opened the door and looked at the three of us in shock before jumping in to my arms, I took advantage of it, knowing she probably wouldn't want to hug me after this. She pressed her lips against mine and I felt that familiar feeling of joy in my stomach, the kind of feeling only she could give me. ''What are you guys doing here? You're in the middle of tour'' she stated as we all sat down in her living room. ''Lucy, we are here today because we all love you and want the best for you'' Tyler started ''and we feel like lately you have kind of lost your grip'' Tess continued. ''You can't do this on your own Luce, we fee like you might need professional help'' I said looking her in the eyes. She looked so tiny from where she was sitting, I was sure she had lost a couple pounds since I last saw her. She was sitting in her sweats biting on her nail, ''wait is this an intervention?'' she looked surprised and when nobody answered she spoke again ''it's not what you think, I don't have a problem or anything. Life has just been a little hectic and I've been partying a lot'' she shrugged and gave us a reassuring smile. ''Besides, I'm all done with that now. After the drug thing, I'm so done''.
We all decided to give her one last chance, Tyler was going to move in until Tess got home so he could keep an eye on Lucy. And if she messed up one more time we would call her parents and tell them everything, knowing they would force her to a rehab clinic. Tess and Tyler had left, leaving me to talk alone with Lucy.
''So, you know we haven't really seen each other since my birthday and it's been tough. On both of us. We've been struggling with our communication and..I mean things don't really feel the same as before I went to tour'' I think she knew where I was going because she didn't look up on me at all ''I just feel that you have changed a lot, you have been lying so much to me. The Lucy I know doesn't lie to me and I don't even know what you're up to most of the time. Even if I know I can't be sure because I don't know if you're lying to me or not'' I stopped to take a deep breath, she was still not looking at me ''I don't think I can do this anymore, Luce. Not right now at least'' I breathed, she looked up and met my eyes. Her face was completely blank and I couldn't tell what she was thinking. ''So we're done? Just like that?'' she asked completely calm ''yeah, we're done'' I whispered, fighting to hold my tears back. ''How can you fly here, let me hug and kiss you and act like everything was fine knowing you would break up with me within the hour?'' I didn't answer her, not really knowing how I could answer that question. ''Just leave, Harry'' she said, but I couldn't move. Suddenly she flew up from the couch and dragged me up by my hand ''leave, just leave. Just get out of here'' she screamed in pure anger. I just let her drag me across the room to the front door, ''Leave, I'm telling you to go, go, go ,go'' she was screaming at the top of her lungs. I just grabbed my shoes and jacket in my hands as she opened the door, ''just get the fuck out of here'' she said before slamming the door in my face. I could hear her break down in tears from the other side of the door. And I could feel my heart break piece by piece as I left her house.

Notes

Next chapter will be another time jump, Lucy and Harry have then been broken up for a couple of months. Harry has about three months left of tour so it's probably August iin the next chapter.
