Nicks POV
Finding the perfect present for Zayn was definitely harder than we all thought. We know some of the things he likes, but not a whole lot because he mostly keeps to himself. You would think, as Zayns best friend, I should know about him, yeah? Well that’s not the case.

We spent most of our evening late shopping after Zayn went to bed. And when I mean late shopping, I mean late. He just had to go to bed late last night, on any other night he would go to bed at a decent time. It was a miracle that we found a store open so late. Nicole and Anjelica got Zayn a light blueish-greyish jean jacket with bright graffiti on it, Harry got him a beanie, Liam got him some fancy drawing pencils and notebook, Louis got him hipster glasses (Zayn and Louis wear fake glasses from time to time), Simon got him a Bruno Mars CD and I got him three 2nd row seats to a big tour he kept talking about.

“Louis, no. It’s not even ten yet. Let him sleep in” I said from outside Zayns room. I stood in front of his closed door, guarding it from Louis.

“But you gotta wake up the birthday boy! It’s his birthday!” Louis whined.

“Shh! Keep your voice down! Let the boy sleep” I said, shooing Louis away.

“ZA-” I covered Louis mouth before he could finish screaming Zayns name.

“I said ‘SHHH!’” I said, struggling to hold him back.

“No” Louis said, his voice muffled by my hand. He licked my hand with his tongue, resulting in me flinging my hand back and wiping the saliva on my pants. Just as Louis was taking a deep breath to scream again, Nikkis quiet sing song voice made him freeze.

“Oh Louis! Is this your diary?” she teased from down the hall. Louis snapped his head in her direction, his new mission to get his diary away from Nikki instead of waking Zayn. Nikki giggled and disappeared back in Niall and his room.

“Hey!” Louis hissed, sprinting down the hall and into his room. Nikkis shrieks could be heard and Louis sassy whining.

“Do I have to come in there and kick Louis’ butt?” Anjelica joked, walking up the stairs with Niall.

“So..?” I asked, meeting them at the top of the steps.

“Liam just got the spray paint and Harry called in to double check on the time we should be there” Niall smiled and I patted his shoulder.

“Good, now all that’s left is to make Zayn breakfast” I smiled and ran down the steps past them.

“But Ni-” Niall was about to say, but I waved him off.

“Not now Niall, I have to go get breakfast ready” I said, rushing down the hall and too the kitchen. Liam and Harry were sitting on the counter, whispering about something.

“Hey guys” I said, suspiciously raising an eyebrow at them.

“Uh Hey!” Liam said, scooting away from Harry.

“Is there something that you want to tell me?” I said, sitting in the empty space between the two. I could really see how attractive they are sitting this close to them.

“Um..” Harry blushed and looked down.

“You see-” Liam said, biting his lip.

“Liam-” Harry started to say, cutting off Liam.

“OH MY GOSH YOU GUYS ARE GAY AREN’T YOU!” I exclaimed, cutting off Harry and throwing my hands in the air. I was totally joking, but I love saying things like that. Everyones reaction is different.

“No!” Harry shrieked covering his face in embarrassment.

“Oh my gosh Nick!” Liam exclaimed. I giggled and shook my head.

“Just kidding guys” I smirked.

“Ha, funny” Harry sarcastically scoffed.

“So if you two aren’t gay, then what is it?” I asked, hopping off the counter to look at them both. Both of them didn’t say anything so I rolled my eyes. “Fine, be that way, but I’ve got to make Zayn breakfast” I said, turning away from them and opening the fridge.

“Nic-”

“Does Zayn like pancakes?” I asked, pulling out ingredients for pancakes.

“Zayn doesn’t-”

“Oh darn. Does he like eggs?” I asked, reaching for the eggs on the fridge shelf.

“Nick.” Liam said sternly. I turned around and gave him a confused look.

“Yeah?” I said.

“Zayn doesn’t really eat breakfast” Harry said.

“Oh..” I said, frowning. Well what am I supposed to do now? You know, making someone breakfast is all sweet and cute, but now what am I supposed to do?

“Louis no!” I heard Nikki yelled and loud thumps. My eyes widened and I looked at Liam and Harry.

“He’s gonna wake up Zayn!” I said, sprinting down the hall and up the steps, nearly falling flat on my face.

“Louis!” Nikki screamed, her arms and legs wrapped around leg.

“Oh my gosh let go!” Louis said, trying to shrug off Anjelica from his back.

“You’re not getting in here, Nicks orders” Niall said, blocking Zayns door.

“Louis don’t you dare” I said, lunging for him.I wrapped my arms and legs around his other leg just like Nikki was doing.

“I’m gonna fall!” Louis said, leaning and stumbling towards Niall.

“Guys!” Liam said from the steps. Niall moved out of the way and tried to help by taking Anjelica off Louis back, but Louis still fell forward. Suddenly, Zayns bedroom door opened and Louis fell through the open doorway, Nikki and I squished under Louis.

“Ow” I groaned, squeezing my eyes.

“What are you guys doing?” Zayn asked. My eyes flew open and I saw Zayn looming over the three of us. You could tell that he just woke up, but he looked better than ever. His hair was even perfect.

“Happy Birthday!” I blurted out. Zayn smiled and shook his head down at us.

Zayns POV
“Ready to go Zayn?” Nick asked as I tied my shoes at the bottom of the steps. I smiled up at him and nodded.

“Sure am” I said, standing up.

“And you’re sure that you don’t want breakfast?” Nick asked. My smile grew at how cute he sounded.

“Yep” I said, walking out the door with Nick.

“Zayn! Why does it take you forever to get ready!?” Louis called from the van.

“Looks like these take time to take care of, right Nick?” I said, looking at Nick. Nick also takes a while to get ready and he’s a pretty handsome lad, so he would know where I’m coming from.

“Y-yeah” Nick agreed, blushing. I smiled wide at him, my tongue pushing up against my teeth. Nick looked adorable with a light blush and blonde quiffed hair.

“Yeah right, have you seen this beauty?” Louis said, gesturing with his hand over his face. “It takes me 5 seconds.”

“Sure” Nick and I said in unison as we hopped in the car.

“So where exactly are we going?” I asked, running a hand over my quiff.

“It’s a surprise” Nick grinned, flashing me his straight, white teeth. Nicks smile was one of the things I liked about him the most. His smile was beautiful and always lit up everything and everyone. Wait, did I just say beautiful?

“Guys, you really didn’t have to do anything for me” I said, looking out the window. Even though I’ve been here for a while, I still don’t know the place well, so I didn’t recognize the surroundings that passed by the window.

“You should know that we would do something” Nikki said from behind me in the back seat.

“True” I smiled. After driving for about 30 minutes, we pulled up to a small abandoned parking lot. “Guys, are you going to kill me?” I asked, looking out the window at the many trees ahead.

“No” Harry chuckled and we all got out of the car.

“Then where are we?” I asked, not paying attention to Liam pull out a bag from the back.

“Just follow me” Nick said and I grabbed his hand.

“Okay” I smiled. Nick blushed and looked down at our hands. I don’t want to get lost or anything, so that’s why I grabbed his hand. Well that and...maybe I wanted to hold his hand...Nick led me through the trees and walked down a small dirt trail, the boys and sisters following close behind.

“This used to be a camping site” Nick said, gesturing to flat dirt areas among the trees and bushes “ but no one really went here in the first place” Nick explained.

“I see..” I said, looking at the environment around us. It was surprisingly quiet. You would think that you would hear at least some birds or buzzing insects. I looked down at Nick. By the look on his face, I could tell that he was excited. The short walk ended when a short tunnel and old, rusty railroad tracks came into view.

“We’re here” Liam said, unzipping the bag I just now noticed.

“I thought you said that you weren’t going to kill me!” I groaned, taking my hand from Nicks to cross my arms across my chest.

“We aren’t!” They all chuckled.

“Then why are we here?” I asked, impatient with all the excitement on their faces.

“This railroad went out of business about 30 years ag-”

“You took me hear to talk about history?” I asked, raising an eyebrow at Nikki.

“Hey I’m the sassy one!” Louis playfully glared at me.

“Long story short” Liam said, pulling out spray cans from the bag. “We came here to spray paint this tunnel” Liam said. My eyes widened at the sight of the spray paint. I love graffiti, I love spray paint, I love this.

“No way!” I exclaimed, practically bouncing with more excitement than all of them combined.

“Way” Niall snickered. Liam tossed me a can and I caught it, eager to cover the tunnel with graffiti.

“Now I don’t agree with this” Nikki said as Liam handed her a can “But, this could be fun.”

“Virgin Mary!” Louis gasped. “I never thought I’d see the day you become a rebel” Louis joked.

“Oh Ha. Ha ha” Nikki sarcastically laughed. I turned around and ran into the tunnel, immediately spraying the empty cement wall. Everyone seemed to spread out and work on their own spray paintings. The only thing I really noticed was Louis prancing around singing gibberish, I was so concentrated to notice anything else.

“Hey!” I said when a flash momentarily blinded me.

“Sorry, but I forgot that we had this camera and we were supposed to take pictures of things we did here in America” Niall said, his irish accent echoing in the tunnel.

“Get a picture of this!” Anjelica said. Niall and I turned around and I gawked at the artwork. Happy Birthday Zayn was written in big bubbled letters with symbols and cool designs.

“I made that one” Louis said, pointing to the stick figure with a smiley face. I smiled at the work in front of me, it was truly amazing.

“Like it?” Liam asked.

“It’s awesome” I complimented.

“Picture!” Niall announced and everyone except Niall crowded together for a picture “Say ‘Niall’s sexy’!” Niall giggled. I pulled Nick close to me, getting a good whiff of his delicious cologne.

“Niall’s sexy!” Anjelica said. In fact, she was the only one who said it. Niall blushed and Anjelica skipped over to him. She gave him a kiss to his lips and took the camera from him to look at the picture.

“Aw, we look so cute. It would have been better if you were in it though” Anjelica said, smiling at Niall. Niall blushed even more, earning another kiss from Anjelica.

“Hey Zayn, what were you painting?” Nick asked, walking over to where I was painting.

“Us” I shyly replied.

“Oh my gosh this is amazing!” Nick beamed. “Look at this!”

“It’s not that good..” I blushed.

“I look good as a cartoon!” Harry cheekily remarked.

“Hey! Why am I in a nun costume!?” Nikki whined and I smiled, my shyness swept away with the light breeze.

“Virgin Mary” Louis said, those two words explaining everything.

“So cool” Anjelica said, snapping a picture.

Considering that the tunnel wasn’t very big and that their was eight of us, we finished spray painting the whole tunnel a little over an hour. We took pictures and danced around. At some point I did a race against Harry, Nick on my back and Nikki on Harrys back. Of course I won.

“Where are we going now?” I asked after we stopped for a quick lunch. I noticed that it wasn’t the way back to Simons house as I looked out the window“Oh, but wait, you probably won’t tell me” I said, answering my own question.

“Yep” Nick smiled next to me.

Harrys POV
“Team Zayn to the left and Team Louis to the right” the instructor said, gesturing to the two openings on both sides of him. Zayns team included Zayn himself, Anjelica, Niall, and Nick. Louis team included Louis himself, me, Nikki and Liam.

“It is so on!” Zayn practically squealed in excitement, a goofy expression worn on his face. I knew that it was a good idea to bring Zayn here. I remember him telling me about how much he loved paintball, so Nikki and I called in to make reservations, double checking this morning for when we should head on over.

“It may be your birthday, but I am so not letting you win!” Louis said. The four of us rushed over to the right while Zayns team rushed off to the left.

“I don’t know how to play this” Nikki nervously said after the buzzer went off, signalling that the game started. She looked so cute and innocent wearing the large mask and camouflage over suit.

“It’s okay, all you do is point and shoot. And don’t get hit” Louis said. We walked out into the open. There were tall structures that acted as shields and a few structures that were like playhouses.

“Stay low” Liam whispered. Liam is super sweet and couldn’t hurt a fly, but there was one thing that Liam was. Super competitive. Nikki nodded and I gently pushed her behind me. Yes, I was being protective, but also, she actually looked a bit scared. Paintballs aren’t exactly the softest thing in the world and Nikki wasn’t too fond of that when Louis told her that earlier.

“Attack!” Louis suddenly let out a battle cry and ran out into the open. Zayn and Nick ran out in the open too, aiming right for Louis.

“Louis watch out!” Nikki yelled. We watched Louis bluntly trip and fall randomly.

“Man down man down!” Liam yelled and bolted out in the open, shooting at Zayn and Nick. I looked over my shoulder and peered down at Nikki.

“What do we do?” Nikki asked, peeking up at me through thick eyelashes. I opened my mouth to speak when I spotted Niall and Anjelica sneaking up to us.

“Run!” I yelled, grabbing her hand and running.

“Wah!” she shrieked, paintballs flying past us. I pulled her behind one of the tall structures in hopes to hide from Niall and Anjelica. “Har-”

“Shh love” I said, gently placing a hand on top of her head. Her mask was practically fogging up, her face heated up so fast. I smiled to myself, she blushes so easily.

“Oh dearest sister!” Anjelica sang out. “Come out come out wherever you are!”

“I feel like this could be a horror movie” Nikki whispered.

“What?” I said, stifling my laughter at her weird comment.

“You know, like you’re hiding and then the murder says creepy stuff like ‘come here little girl’” Nikki said, wiggling her fingers and trying to make a creepy face that ended up just making her even more adorable. I burst out laughing, not able to hold it back any longer. “What?” Nikki asked.

“Your face!” I chuckled.

“What about my face?” she asked, going cross eyed as if she was trying to look at her own face. It only made me laugh harder.

“Boo!” Niall and Anjelica yelled, jumping out of nowhere and pelting paintballs at us. Nikki screamed, waving her arms around and I tackled Niall to get him to stop shooting.

“Take this!” I said, tickling Nialls sides. Niall snickered, begging me to stop.

“I’m coming Niall!” Anjelica yelled, shooting paintballs at my back and running at me. I rolled off of Niall and grabbed my paintball gun in the process. Anjelica was running so fast the she couldn’t stop and tripped over Niall. I looked over and saw Nikki covered in paint. She wasn’t directly hit though, just covered by the splatters of the paintballs. She fumbled with her painball gun. I aimed towards Anjelica and Niall, but didn’t shoot when I realised that I was eliminated since I got hit.

“Nikki shoot!” I yelled over to her. She glanced up at me then went back to fumbling with the gun. Anjelica and Niall scrambled around, trying to get their paintball guns. I couldn’t do anything since I was eliminated. Niall managed to get his gun and aimed it at Nikki.

“FOR NARNIA!!” Louis yelled, appearing out of nowhere and shooting both Niall and Anjelica.

“Woo Lou!” I cheered. The buzzer went off, first game was done.

“Who one?” Nikki asked as I helped her up.

“We did! Liam and I got Zayn and Nick. Liam got hit, but I just got Niall and Anjelica and won the game for us!” Louis cheered.

“AH you losers!” Niall pouted. “We’re gonna get you this next game” Niall said, scurrying away with Anjelica. Liam showed up, all smiles.

“Good job!” Liam cheered, high fiving Louis. Nikki tugged on my arm and I looked down at her.

“Sorry abo-”

“Don’t worry about it” I said, patting her head. “Lets get this next round, yeah?” I said.

“Yeah!” Nikki smiled enthusiastically. Gosh I wanted to kiss her so bad right then. The buzzer went off, signalling the second game.

“Stick together” Liam said, motioning for us to follow him. We followed close behind him, looking around every corner cautiously.

“Ah!” Louis yelped from behind me. We turned around and saw Louis sprawled out on the ground. “I’m hit” he said dramatically, throwing his hand across his forehead.

“Louis no!” Nikki dramatically exclaimed, kneeling down next to him.

“Go on without me” Louis said, reaching up to Nikkis face.

“Wait, that means-” Louis started to say with wide eyes, but didn’t get to finish.

“Ambush!!” Zayn yelled, running around the corner with Nick, Niall and Anjelica. Liam immediately got down and rolled, avoiding all paintballs. Nikki and I on the other hand, weren’t too lucky. We were hit over and over again with paintballs. Liam got hit shortly after us.

“Aha! Told you that we would get you!” Niall said. Nick and Zayn did this weird, but cute, victory handshake, which involves them shaking their hips and slapping hands.

“Oh it’s on” Liam said.

“We are so gonna beat you!” I said.

“Bring it” Nick challenged.

After almost two hours of hard core paintballing.....they won. I can’t believe they won. Who ever knew that Nick was so good at paintball. Put Nick with Zayn, the paintball master, you’re doomed.

“That was so much fun!” Zayn bubbled, taking off the mask.

“I’m glad you liked it” Nick beamed at Zayn, taking off his over cover camouflage suit.

“I’m sore” Nikki said, scrunching up her nose. She was lucky to only have gotten two bruises; one on her shoulder and one on her leg.

“Well, it was your first time playing” Liam said, kissing her temple. Usually, I would have tensed up, but this time I didn’t.

“It’s my first time playing and I’m fine” Anjelica said, earning a glare from Nikki.

“I’m hungry” Niall whined.

“And that’s our cue to go” Nick giggled. Anjelica grabbed Nialls hand and kissed him, making us all playfully gag.

“Oi! Don’t eat her lips!” Louis said as Anjelica and Nialls kissing continued on longer than we thought. Niall and Anjelica pulled apart, but looked like they had no shame.

“Look at this picture” Nikki said as we walked out to the van. She held up the camera, and what thought was her showing me a picture, was really her taking a surprise picture.

“Nikki” I said, snatching the camera away from her.

“I just wanted a picture of us..” Nikki said and I started to blush like she was.

“Oh..well, you could have just asked” I said, stopping and holding up the camera. We both smiled the biggest, cheesiest smile, both our dimples exposed.

“Perfect” she smiled at the picture. Just like you, I thought. I hopped in the van and sat next to Nikki in the back.

“This calls for music!” Louis said, pulling out of the parking lot. Liam turned on the radio and Little Mix’s “Wings” played through the speakers. We all tensed, except for Nikki, Anjelica and Nick. the boys and I knew about Perrie and Zayn..I’m guessing those three have yet to find out.

“I love this song!” Nick cheered. Both Liam and Louis were too shocked to change the station. “Perrie is so pretty” Nick said.

“Yeah, she is” Zayn said, looking down. Liam snapped out of it and quickly changed the station. Luckily, Marina and the Diamonds “Primadonna Girl” song came on. Louis always sings and dances around all sassy to this song, sure to make us all laugh.

“All I ever wanted was the world!” Louis sang in a high pitch voice, pretending to flip hair over his shoulder. Thank goodness that Louis was funny, because Zayns mood instantly shifted and he smiled. And thank goodness Nick didn’t complain when Liam changed the station. “I can’t help that I need it all!” Louis sang, batting his eyes and winking at Liam. Liam wiggled his eyebrows back at Louis, making us laugh at the both of them.

“We’re here!” Liam announced after 3 more songs. We all smiled at each other, already knowing what was in store for Zayn.

“Thank goodness! I’m starving!” Niall said, practically crawling over Anjelica to get to the door.

“We can tell” Anjelica giggled, getting out of the van to let Niall out.We all walked to the front door and was greeted with heavenly smells once we opened the door.

“Woah” Zayn said, sniffing the air. “Smells good.” Zayn said, walking to the dining room with eager beaver Niall. We all fist pumped the air and silently whispered “yeah.” We quickly went to the dining room and gawked at the food. Simon really did do a good job. There was pasta, chicken, mash potatoes and so much more! Fancy glasses We all quickly took our seats and began passing around plates.

“Best. Chicken. Ever” Zayn said, closing his eyes as he chewed.

“Agreed!” Niall managed to say, his mouth stuffed with food.

“And potatoes” Anjelica said, shoving potatoes in her mouth.

“Agreed!” Niall said, puckering his lips. Anjelica giggled and pecked his lips. I hope me and Nikki could be like that someday. I looked across the table at Nikki. She had food all over her mouth, looking gorgeous.

“You’re staring” Liam whispered in my ear. I slightly jumped and shoved pasta in my mouth to distract myself. “Remember what I told you this morning?” Liam whispered. I gulped down my food and nodded. Like an angel, Simon walked in right on time, preventing Liam to say anything further.

“Simon!” Nick smiled up at him.

“Why hello” Simon smiled. “Are you enjoying dinner?”

“It’s fantastic!” Liam complemented.

“So good!” Niall said.

“Delicious!” Nikki smiled.

“Eh, could be better” Louis said. We all looked at him like he was crazy. “Oh my gosh I was so kidding” Louis smiled.

“Amazing” Zayn said to Simon.

“I’m so glad that you all like it” Simon smile grew. “When you are done you can have cake and open presents.”

“You all shouldn’t have” Zayn said, looking at us.

“But we did, so deal with it” Louis playfully sassed.

“Present time?” Nick asked and Zayn shrugged.

“Sure” he said. Nick squealed and jumped out of his seat. Zayn was really in for a surprise. Nikki, Simon and Liam cleared the table while Nick and Niall went to go get the cake and surprise present.

“I never got to thank you guys” Zayn said, looking at us.

“Don’t thank us yet” Louis smirked. The lights turned off and the faint glow of candles gradually came into view.

“Happy Birthday to you” Niall and Nick sang. Niall held the cake and Nick held Zayns laptop. Probably not the best idea to have Niall with the cake, he was ogling it while he sang. The rest of us joined in singing and Niall set the cake down in front of Zayn, the candles illuminating Zayns bright smile. Nick set down Zayns laptop down next to the cake.

“Aw, you guys fixed my laptop” Zayn said after we stopped singing. Nick smiled and bounced on his feet.

“That’s not all” Nick said and opened the laptop to reveal his mother and two sisters on the screen.

“Happy Birthday!” They shouted at once. Zayns looked so shocked but so happy at the same time.

“Mum!” he exclaimed, smiling huge.

“Hi my baby” she said.

“Make your wish!” one of Zayns sisters said. Zayn nodded enthusiastically and blew out his candles. Anjelica snapped a couple pictures as he did so. The lights came back on almost immediately after the candles went out.

“How did you do this?” Zayn asked, looking up at our faces.

“It’s called Skype” Nick smiled at him.

“Thank you” Zayn said, standing up and engulfing Nick in his arms. Nick didn’t waste a second to hug back. “Thank you, all of you” Zayn said after pulling away from Nick and looking at us.

“Open your presents!” one of Zayns sisters said.

“Alright alright” Zayn chuckled and picked up one of the envelopes first.

“Oo! That’s mine” Nick smiled. Zayn smiled back at him and opened the envelope. 3 tickets fell out and Zayn freaked out after he read them.

“Oh my gosh! All of my favorite rappers are going to perform at this!” Zayn exclaimed and picked up Nick, squeezing the life out of him. “Thank you thank you thank you!!!!” he said, then kissed Nick on the head.

“N-no problem” Nick stuttered, blushing mad and breathless. Zayn went through the other presents, hugging all of us and thanking us multiple times. We left Zayn in the dining room to be alone with his family.

“Successful birthday! Bravo everyone” Louis clapped.

“And guess whose birthday is next” Nikki said, smiling at Nick.

“I’m telling you know, I really don’t want to do anything for my birthday” Nick said.

“When’s your birthday?” Niall asked, momentarily averting his attention away from Anjelicas hair.

“January 24th” Nick replied.

“Then it’s Harrys birthday” Louis said, smiling over at me.

“Really?” Nikki sleepily yawned next to me.

“Yep, mines February 1st” I shrugged.

“Oh my gosh so many birthdays to plan” Louis said, dramatically fanning his face with his hand.

“I said that I don’t want to do anything though” Nick pouted. I was about to agree with him, but Nikki’s head fell on my shoulder. I looked down and saw Nikki sound asleep. I blushed at how close our faces were, her lips so clos-

“Looks like it’s bedtime for Virgin Mary” Louis smirked.

“Darn it, that means I gotta take her home” Anjelica said, sadly pulling away from Niall.

“It’s okay, you can stay here” Liam said.

“That’s really sweet, and I would, but we don’t have pajamas” Anjelica said.

“Don’t” Nick yawned “Go. You can wear my clothes” Nick pleaded.

“Alright” Anjelica said, snuggling back against Niall. I gently shifted Nikki so I could stand up, but I accidentally woke her up by accident.

“Mm?” she mumbled, sleepily sitting up. I stood up and looked down at her.

“Bedtime” I smiled down at her. She endearingly tilted her head to the side, eyes halfway open and lifted her arms up to me. I bent down and picked her up. She wrapped her arms around my neck and wrapped her legs around my waist. I positioned one arm under her bum and placed my free hand on her back. She’s so light, I thought to myself. I could probably carry her with no hands.

“Take her to my room for my clothes. Tell her that she can wear anything” Nick said.

“And don’t watch her dress” Anjelica said, squinting her eyes at me. I nodded, not planning on doing that in the first place. I turned away from everyone and walked out of the living room.

“Where are we going..?” Nikki mumbled into my neck, making me shiver. Her lips grazed my up my neck and jaw as she pulled her head back to look at me.

“To Nicks room so you can change” I said. Nikki leaned her head in and rested her forehead on mine. I stopped in my tracks, not able to see where I was going.

“You know Harry..” Nikki whispered, barely keeping her eyes open.

“Yes..?” I asked, trying so hard not to just snog her silly. She licked her lips, her tongue barely brushing my lips, but enough to make me shiver and tingle even more. I’m gonna kiss her.

“I really really-” she started to say, but her voice trailed and her head slumped down into my neck. I blinked and shook her slightly.

“Nikki?” I asked, but she fell back asleep. She must have been really tired...perfect timing though. I was about to kiss her. Even though I really want to, I’m not sure right now would have been the right time. “Soon, my dear” I whispered, rubbing her back and walking up the stairs.
