“I’m so excited! I can’t wait!” Nikki bounced in the backseat.
“Ey ey ey! Stop that, don’t want to hurt yourself. That would suck to hurt your elbow right before getting your cast off” I chuckled.
“That would suck” Nick giggled next to me in the passenger seat.
“I could say the same to you! You’re gonna hurt your face with all that smiling” she said, popping her head between Nick and I. I blushed and tried to hide the smile on my face. Today Niall is taking me out on a date today after I drop off Nikki and Nick at Nikkis appointment. The boys are meeting us there, so I’ll drive Niall to the park where we start off our date, and Nikki and Nick will go over to their house. “You and Niall are so cute! Going on dates and getting all cuddly!”
“Look at her blush!” Nick said, smiling at me. I glared at them as I stopped at the red light.
“You should see yourself blush around Zayn” I countered back with a smirk. Nick immediately flushed red and his eyes widened. I chuckled and began to drive again when the light turned green.
“But Zayn is Zayn...how can you not blush around him” Nick mumbles, his blush deepening.
“Speaking of Zayn, isn’t his birthday tomorrow?” I asked, realising mentioning about it sometime earlier.
“Yeah, it is” Nick said, almost as if he forgot.
“Oh my gosh what are we going to do?” Nikki asked.
“Zayn said that he doesn’t mind what we do” Nick said, biting his lip.
“What does he like?” I asked, glancing left and right for any cars.
“He loves graffiti” Nikki piped up.
“And paintball” Nick added.
“Why don’t you talk to the boys about doing that?” I asked, pulling into the hospital parking lot, spotting the familiar raven quiff accompanied by four other gorgeous boys. Nick nodded and jumped out of the car with Nikki as soon as the car stopped moving. Nick went straight to Zayn, and Nikki ran straight to the automatic sliding doors.
“Slow down” I chuckled, getting out of my car.
“I’ve got her” Liam said, surprise hugging her, preventing her from going through the automatic sliding doors.
“Be careful, that’s precious merchandise” I joked, noting how tight Liam was hugging her.
“Precious merchandise can’t breathe!” Nikki gasped and Liam apologized as he let go. Louis rubbed Liams hair, calling him silly and Harry went in to hug Nikki. I was about to go greet the boys, but was stopped Nialls surprise kisses.

“You” Niall said in between kisses he pressed to my cheek. I smiled and scrunched up my nose after he kissed it.
“I missed you too” I giggled and pecked his lips.
“Hey love birds! Save that for later!” my sister whined. She couldn’t exactly do anything until I signed her in and filled out some papers.
“Alright alright” I smiled, Niall pecking at my cheeks again. I grabbed his hand and we all walked into the hospital. I quickly signed her in and filled out the papers at the front desk. When I was done, I momentarily went into big sister mode. “Now remember Nikki” I said, turning to look at her with stern eyes. “You go to the third floor, first sitting area on the right. After you get your cast off, you have one last physical therapy session, then after that you need to make an appointment for your physical for tennis. Got it?”
“Yes, now go!” she smiled, nudging Niall and I towards the door.
“Text me when you’re done” I said before she literally dragged Niall and I out to my car. Niall and I walked out to my car hand in hand. He opened the drivers side for me, and I couldn’t help but giggle at how weird but cute it was. Weird ‘cause you know, usually the boy opens the passenger door for you, but I’m the driver, so he has to open the driver door.
“Sorry that I can’t drive” Nialls suddenly said, his irish accent thick with apology.
“Why are you sorry? It’s no big deal” I said, backing out of the parking lot.
“Well you know, the boy is supposed to be driving the girl” Niall said, looking down at his lap self consciously. My heart fluttered, he didn’t have to be embarrassed or anything. He’s amazing and I could care less if he never gets his drivers license.
“It’s not bad to switch things up a bit. It’s good to do things differently” I smiled at him briefly before turning my attention back to the road. Niall looked up and let out a sigh of relief.
“I’m so happy that I have you. To be honest, I want to do things differently. I don’t want to be an ordinary couple” Niall said and I glanced at him from the corner of my eye.
“What do you mean ‘ordinary couple’?” I asked.
“You know, how in ordinary couples the boy leaves the girl flowers for her when she wakes up and the girl gives the boy a watch for his birthday? Or how ordinary couples make wishes by throwing coins in water fountains or how ordinary couples go to romantic movies. I don’t want to do those ordinary things with you” Niall took a deep breath. “I want to be able to dance in the water fountain with you. I want to have pillow fights in the park at midnight. I want us to make loud noises during a scary movie in theaters. I don’t want to leave you flowers when you wake up, I want to leave you notes telling you how much you mean to me. I don’t want you to give me a watch on my birthday, I want you to give me your smile” Niall finished. My heart thumped in my chest, his words filling my heart with care. I’ve never cried during heartfelt things, not even teared up, but right now, Niall has changed that.
“I-I like that” I managed to choke out, tears in my eyes and a smile on my lips. Niall gently set his hand on my leg and gave it a squeeze, sending electric shocks through my body. I pushed my tears back and put one hand on top of his. My feelings were at an all time high, and I want them to stay there. My liking for him is definitely becoming something more. I want them to become something more.
“Besides, I think being an ordinary couple wasn’t possible in the first place. I’m too crazy to be ordinary” Niall said, making me giggle.
“That makes two of us” I replied. Not long after Nialls heartfelt words, I pulled up to the parks parking lot. Before I could even get my seatbelt off, Niall was already opening my door. He took off my seatbelt and helped me out of my car. “Thanks” I smiled at him. Niall beamed back and closed the car door. I kept my hand in his as we started walking through the park.
It was a nice day. Thanks to California's weather, it was already starting to become sunny outside, even though spring isn’t even close to starting. It was still windy and a bit chilly though, so it was a good thing that I decided to wear a jacket. There wasn’t many people at the park, some people walking their dogs or going out for a run.
“So Niall” I said, looking at his adorable rosy cheeks. “What do you have in mind for today?” I asked.
“Well, as you know, we are at the park” Niall said, making me giggle. “To be honest, I’m not sure. I guess this is just one of those dates that if you see something you want to do, then do it” Niall shrugged.
“Never heard of a date like that” I honestly said and Nialls face fell a bit “But it like it, it’s not ordinary” I added. Nialls face instantly lit up and he squeezed my hand. The smile on both our faces didn’t falter as we walked through the park. We didn’t say much, just enjoying each others company.
“Hmmm” Niall randomly hummed.
“Hmmm?” I hummed in response. Niall looked at me with a glint in his eye and suddenly, he took off, dragging me along. “Niall!” I squealed, stumbling as I ran with him hand in hand. Niall let out a crazy laugh, running out of the park and down the sidewalk. We ran past people who gave us crazy stares.
“Made it!” Niall huffed and finally stopped running. I gasped and took my sweaty hand away from his to place on my knee.
“Why” I breathed “Did we just run?” I asked.
“Ordinary couples don’t randomly run for no reason” Niall smiled and I shook my head at him, trying to hide the smile that tried to creep up on my lips.
Nicoles POV
“Freedom!” I squealed in happiness, waving my arm around as I walked out into the lobby. I was greeted by 5 smiling faces. After being in the hospital for an hour and a half, I was finally free to go. The boys cheered and Liam gave me a side hug. Louis started laughing for some reason and we all gave him a weird look.
“Why are you laughing?” Nick asked.
“Because her right arm is so skinny compared to her other one” he snickered, pointing to my right arm. I looked down and pressed my arms together. I frowned at the obvious difference and groaned.
“Great” I whined.
“It’s not too bad. Don’t listen to this bloke” Harry said, whacking Louis in the back of his head.
“Ow” Louis yelped with a pout, making me giggle. Harry always makes me smile...
“Alright, lets get out of here, yeah?” Liam suggested.
“Heck yeah!” Louis exclaimed, quickly shifting out of his pout. We said our goodbyes to the lady at the front desk before walking out for the hospital and into the parking lot.
“I bet I could reach the car before you can” Nick challenged Zayn.
“No way” Zayn smirked before taking off through the parking lot. Nick didn’t even take a step further, instead, he turned around to face all of us.
“Okay guys, tomorrow is Zayns birthday. What are we supposed to do?” Nick asked.
“That’s what we were actually going to ask you” Louis said, scratching the back of his neck.
“He just simply said ‘I don’t mind what we do’” Liam shrugged.
“Well doesn’t that help us out” I sarcastically joked. I looked over at Harry and blushed when I noticed that he was staring at me.
“I say that-” Nick started to say, but was cut off by Zayn.
“Hey! I thought that we were racing!” Zayn called out, walking back towards us.
“We are!” I called, winking at the boys and ran straight for Zayn. Zayn at first just stood there, staring wide eyed at me run towards him, but he snapped out of it and turned around to run through cars. I heard footsteps behind me and giggled at Louis hollering random things. I don’t know where the boys parked, so I was blindly running around the parking lot, trying to follow Zayn and the boys. I stopped and stood in the middle of the parking lot, looking around for the boys. Suddenly, a car turned the corner and I was so surprised that I didn’t move. Arms wrapped around my waist, lifted me up and carried me swiftly away from the honking car. Harrys chest blocked my vision.
“This is why I keep an eye on you” Harrys deep voice rang, his green eyes looking down at me.
“Thank you” I said, blushing as I looked away. I like him so much, it sometimes hurt to look at him, like right now.
“No problem” Harry said, unwrapping his arms from around me, but only to grab my hand. I blushed more, the blush reaching my ears. “I’ll just have to stay extra close to you” Harry said, tugging me along. I should be happy, my heart should be beating out of control and I should be smiling like a fool at his words. But his words only saddened me. I like him, but he doesn’t like me, so why does he say these things? They are flattering and his friendly yet flirtatious attitude was heart melting, but why do this anymore? It was okay at first, him doing it out of pity. But why does he keep saying things like that? Doesn’t he know that I’m crazy about him..
“Hey, why the long face?” Liam asked when we walked up the the van, Nick, Zayn and Louis already in the van. Harry looked down at me and frowned. He still looked gorgeous even with a frown...
“Nothing” I said, straightening up and smiling at both of them. They both didn’t seem to buy it, so I just took my hand from Harrys large one and hopped into the van. I silently thanked god when it was Liam who slid in beside me instead of Harry.
“This calls for tunes!” Louis shouted, punching the buttons on the radio. Miley Cyrus’ song “The Climb” came on. “Ew” Louis said, punching another button. Adam Levines “Payphone” came on.
“Overplayed” Zayn said. Louis nodded in agreement and changed the song. Imagine Dragons’ song “Radioactive” came on.
“Also overplayed” Liam said. Louis changed and a song that I’ve never heard before came on.
“And we danced all night to the best song ever! We knew every line now I can’t remember-”
“Boy Bands” Louis scoffed, changing the song.
“R.E.S.P.E.C.T. Found out what it means to me!” came on and Louis immediately turned it up. This song always makes me feel superior, makes me feel like women are tough and can stand up to men.
“R.E.S.P.E.C.T!” Louis practically screamed out the window, driving down the street. Louis immediately lifted me out of my glum and I smiled at him. Louis drove the long way to his house, through town. People walking down the streets just gave him puzzled looks and some people even took out their phones. And the funniest thing ever happened.

Niall and I walked hand and hand down the street, talking about the most randomest things. For the past almost 2 hours, Niall and I have gone to an art gallery pretending to be critics, looked at pets at the pet store, played hide and go seek in a thrift store, eaten frozen yogurts with forks in honor of Liam, and played with the toys in Toys R Us.
This has been the best date I’ve ever been on.
“So, did I completely blow this date or..?” Niall asked, after taking a sip from his water bottle, swinging our intertwined hands.
“This has been great Niall” I smiled, pecking his cheek quickly.
“Really? Same h-” Niall was about to say when some crazy lunatic screams. Everyone on the street, including Niall and I, looked down the road ahead of us to see what was going on.
“No way” Niall and I say in unison.
“R.E.S.P.E.C.T!” Louis yelled out the car window.
“Quick, get their attention!” I said, now tugging on Nialls arm.
“U-uh..” Niall stuttered and did the unthinkable. He threw his water bottle just as the van passed us. The water bottle flew threw the window and hit Louis head.
“Ah!” Louis yelled and swerved the van a bit, but stayed on the road. Niall and I exchanged a look and burst out laughing.
“Did you just throw your water bottle at him?” I managed to say through my endless giggles. Nialls cute cheeks were red and his blue eyes were slightly watery from laughing so hard.
“I don’t know why I did that” he laughed. People just walked past us with strange looks.
“Oh my gosh, we have to get back” I said, still giggling as I led a chuckling Niall back to the car next to the park.
Once we got back to Simons, Louis pounced on Niall, giving him a headlock that was followed by a nuggie.“How dare you throw a water bottle at me!” Louis said.
“I’m sorry!” Niall snickered even though he was in Louis painful headlock.
“I thought that it was funny” I smirked at Louis. Louis stopped and let go of Niall.
“You’re lucky that you are a girl, oh wait, you aren’t” Louis said, pulling me into a headlock.
“Hey!” I whined. “Don’t touch the hair!”
“You sound like Zayn and Nick” Louis joked. Nick and Zayn couldn’t protest for it was true, so they just shrugged.
“Lou, let go my girlfriend” Niall said, prying Louis away from me.
“Thanks babe” I breathed, fixing my hair.
“Anything for you” Niall smiled, kissing my cheek. I blushed and smiled at him.
“Aww!” Nicole cooed, making me roll my eyes at her.
“What did you guys do on your date?” Liam asked.
“Yeah, what did you exactly do? Suck faces?” Louis joked.
“Oh very funny Louis” I said, playfully glaring at him. Suddenly, everyone broke out in loud conversation about our date, Louis getting hit in the head, and how things went with Nikki.
“I’m going to the bathroom” Zayn suddenly said, all conversation instantly ceasing. Zayn left to the bathroom and we looked at each other. We all got close together, almost like a huddle.
“Zayn. His birthday tomorrow” Nick started off.
“Has anyone even gotten his gift?” Nikki asked and all of our eyes widened. “Well, that answers it. We’ll go shopping late today or early tomorrow, just have his present before dinner time tomorrow” Nicole said, already making decisions.

“Boy Bands” Louis scoffed, changing the song.
“R.E.S.P.E.C.T. Found out what it means to me!” came on and Louis immediately turned it up. This song always makes me feel superior, makes me feel like women are tough and can stand up to men.
“R.E.S.P.E.C.T!” Louis practically screamed out the window, driving down the street. Louis immediately lifted me out of my glum and I smiled at him. Louis drove the long way to his house, through town. People walking down the streets just gave him puzzled looks and some people even took out their phones. And the funniest thing ever happened.
Anjelicas POV
Niall and I walked hand and hand down the street, talking about the most randomest things. For the past almost 2 hours, Niall and I have gone to an art gallery pretending to be critics, looked at pets at the pet store, played hide and go seek in a thrift store, eaten frozen yogurts with forks in honor of Liam, and played with the toys in Toys R Us.
This has been the best date I’ve ever been on.
“So, did I completely blow this date or..?” Niall asked, after taking a sip from his water bottle, swinging our intertwined hands.
“This has been great Niall” I smiled, pecking his cheek quickly.
“Really? Same h-” Niall was about to say when some crazy lunatic screams. Everyone on the street, including Niall and I, looked down the road ahead of us to see what was going on.
“No way” Niall and I say in unison.
“R.E.S.P.E.C.T!” Louis yelled out the car window.
“Quick, get their attention!” I said, now tugging on Nialls arm.
“U-uh..” Niall stuttered and did the unthinkable. He threw his water bottle just as the van passed us. The water bottle flew threw the window and hit Louis head.
“Ah!” Louis yelled and swerved the van a bit, but stayed on the road. Niall and I exchanged a look and burst out laughing.
“Did you just throw your water bottle at him?” I managed to say through my endless giggles. Nialls cute cheeks were red and his blue eyes were slightly watery from laughing so hard.
“I don’t know why I did that” he laughed. People just walked past us with strange looks.
“Oh my gosh, we have to get back” I said, still giggling as I led a chuckling Niall back to the car next to the park.
Once we got back to Simons, Louis pounced on Niall, giving him a headlock that was followed by a nuggie.“How dare you throw a water bottle at me!” Louis said.
“I’m sorry!” Niall snickered even though he was in Louis painful headlock.
“I thought that it was funny” I smirked at Louis. Louis stopped and let go of Niall.
“You’re lucky that you are a girl, oh wait, you aren’t” Louis said, pulling me into a headlock.
“Hey!” I whined. “Don’t touch the hair!”
“You sound like Zayn and Nick” Louis joked. Nick and Zayn couldn’t protest for it was true, so they just shrugged.
“Lou, let go my girlfriend” Niall said, prying Louis away from me.
“Thanks babe” I breathed, fixing my hair.
“Anything for you” Niall smiled, kissing my cheek. I blushed and smiled at him.
“Aww!” Nicole cooed, making me roll my eyes at her.
“What did you guys do on your date?” Liam asked.
“Yeah, what did you exactly do? Suck faces?” Louis joked.
“Oh very funny Louis” I said, playfully glaring at him. Suddenly, everyone broke out in loud conversation about our date, Louis getting hit in the head, and how things went with Nikki.
“I’m going to the bathroom” Zayn suddenly said, all conversation instantly ceasing. Zayn left to the bathroom and we looked at each other. We all got close together, almost like a huddle.
“Zayn. His birthday tomorrow” Nick started off.
“Has anyone even gotten his gift?” Nikki asked and all of our eyes widened. “Well, that answers it. We’ll go shopping late today or early tomorrow, just have his present before dinner time tomorrow” Nicole said, already making decisions.
“We don’t even know what we are going to do” Harry mumbled.
“I’ve got an idea” Nick smiled.
