Whiskey Lullaby UNDER EDITING!!

I was woken up by the sound of my phone going off. A message though, not a call. I open my eyes and roll onto my side towards the nightstand. I grab my phone and unlock it.

Once my eyes adjusted to the bright light, I saw that it was from Harry. Was I surprised that he replied? Yes. Was I curious of what it said? Yes. So, I read it.

Harry: Okay. And yay, I like sprinkles. I’ll be home soon. No, she might stay a while but she won’t stay overnight I don’t think. Lily’s fine, she’s getting a little sleepy. I’ll be home soon, I promise. Thanks for the cake! And Yay! I can’t wait to eat it, I haven’t had it in forever! Yes, you can stay whenever you want to, you know that. Trust me I’m never too busy for you. And its an honor to me to have you over. You’re welcomed any time. And no, actually its sorta bad, I’ll explain later on. I’ll wake you when I’m home, after I call you of course, just like I said I would. And okay, thanks love. I can’t wait to eat some of it!! We’ll be home soon, okay? Love you ♥

I smile gently to myself as I sit my phone back on the nightstand. I didn’t bother to reply, and I’m sure he probably knew I was asleep already and he probably didn’t expect me to reply, either way though, I wasn’t going to.

Earlier, while Harry’s cake was baking in the oven, I looked at all the pictures that hung on his walls. The ones in the living room, the hallway, up the staircase, the ones that sat on the tables and the bookshelves.

And I noticed something. Half of them were of me and him. And something else too. None of them were of Kendall. And honestly, that made me feel good. I know Harry isn’t really in ‘love’ with Kendall. He doesn’t even like her.

I suppose I’m the only one that knows the reason he’s with her. Niall might know though, not sure. But I do. I know I do.

Harry’s only with Kendall because she’s been getting put in the shadows and stuff in her family, thanks to Kim’s baby, and all that other drama shit. So, Kris got in contact with Simon, and they agreed that Kendall just needs to hang around Harry, deny all dating rumors, and such.

Harry added that last part. Deny all dating rumors. He told me that he done that because he could never love Kendall as more than just a friend. And that he couldn’t love anyone else in the world..

Besides me. And honestly, its nice knowing that he still loves me. At times, I doubt it. But at other times, I assure it.

As for me, however, I’m only ‘with’ Trent because I needed the pleasure. But no one, and I mean no one, will ever be able to make me completely happy, pleasure or not. No one.. except for Harry.

As for the pictures though, I loved the ones in his room the most. I only looked at the pictures, I didn’t snoop. I swear on my life. On his nightstand was a picture of him, me, and Lily the day she was born. Our first picture together with Lily.

I was in the hospital bed holding her and he was sitting beside me, his arm around me and Lily had a hold of his finger, she still does that even at her age now.

And on his dresser was one of Lily. I can’t remember exactly when we took that one, but it was cute and it was taken at my apartment. She was younger though.

The others that hung on the wall varied from me and Lily, to me and Harry, to Harry and Lily, and such on. And it was nice to know that he cared enough to keep me in the pictures and not cut me out.

Not saying that I did, all of my pictures are complete. None are cut, I wouldn’t do that. Ever. At least, not to the ones Harry’s in..
