“Haize! Wake up! We have to get you ready for school!” Luke yelled, banging on my door. I groaned and she laughed, “Come on.” She opened my door and I looked at her, sitting up.

“Do I have to?” I whined.

“Yes. You do have to.” She grabbed my arm and pulled me into her bedroom. She pulled out a dress and heels.

“You expect me to wear that to school?”

“Yeah. We don’t have a dress code.”

“I’d rather wear skinny jeans.” She turned me around and then faced me towards her again.
“Have you ever worn skinny jeans?” She asked and I shook my head. She laughed and handed me a pair of black skinny jeans. “Put these on.” I slipped my shorts off and put them on and she squealed. “Your bum look amazing!”

I laughed, “Thanks.”

She handed me a red shirt that was probably skin tight like these jeans. I slipped it on, and I was right, it is skin tight.

“Here. Wear these heels.” She handed me a pair of black heels and I slipped them on. My hair was curly from being wet last night, and she didn’t want to do anything with it because she thought it was pretty. She put eyeliner and mascara on me and sprayed a little perfume on me. “You look amazing. Here, I have a mirror. Admire yourself while I get ready.” She opened her closet and showed me a mirror and she got ready.

“Um, I look like a popular girl.” I smiled.

“Is that what you think we’re called? You just look like a real girl.” She laughed at me. She had put on a white dress with black heels, and she just brushed out her hair and put makeup on.

“You look better than me.” I smiled.

“Um no I don’t. You’re probably my best work.” I laughed and she grabbed her phone and I went in my room and I grabbed mine. “Are you ready to go?”

I nodded my head and we walked outside and to her car.

Oh no. I don’t have my books. Maybe Harry brought them to school for me. When we walked into school everybody gasped, probably because I was walking with Luke and I looked down. She grabbed my arm and I looked at her.

“You know you look good. So flaunt it. We’re going to find this Harry boy and I’m going to leave you to it.” She winked at me and we started to walk with pride.

I went to my locker and grabbed my science book and started to walk to my first period. Luke had left me when she saw her boyfriend, but she wished me luck.

And then I saw him. I took a deep breath, and I walked up to him. Mason was standing with him, and so was Nate. But I ignored them and Harry looked at me when I reached him.

“Do I know you gorgeous?” He smirked. I nodded my head and he cocked an eyebrow. “You look familiar, but I don’t think I-” He stopped and leaned in towards me. “You.”

“Me.” I looked at Mason and smiled. “Hello vice president.” He gasped and smiled at me.

“Naive girl. What’s up?” He smiled.

“Oh I just came to talk to Harry,” I looked at Harry and he let out a deep breath followed by a sneer.

“You came here all dolled up just to see me? I like that,” He put his hand on my hip. “I like that a lot.”

“I didn’t get dolled up for you. Luke just wanted to dress me up.”

“Luke Nighers?” Nate asked.

“Yeah. She’s my sister.” Nate smiled and looked down. Then I looked back at Harry and sighed. “Now,” I took his hand off of my hip, “I just came here to retrieve my books. Now if you would kindly give them to me.”

He turned around and opened his locker, handing them to me. So he did bring them? Interesting…

“Okay girl. I want the truth.” Harry said and I folded my arms over my books. “Why did you walk out on me last night.”

I bit my lip and smiled. “I already told you that last night.”

He chuckled and put his hand back on my hip, and slid it up my back. “And I also want to know why you insisted on telling me a lie. Why did you dress up for me?”

“Well only because I wanted to make up for walking out on you.” Oh what a lie.

He gave me another sneer. “Don’t be smart. Besides, you should want to make up for it. Because you left me feeling worthless…” He bit his lip and pulled me into him.

“How do you think you made me feel?”

“I know I made you feel bad baby but…” He put his hand on my arm and stroked my cheek, pulling his lips by my ear, “I can make you feel good.”

By the time he pulled me into him, Mason and Nate had walked away.

“I bet you could Harry. But now, I’m going to get to class before I’m late.” I tried to pull away from him but he wrapped his arm around my waist. “Harry.”

“I’m not letting you walk out on me until I get what I want… And baby I want you bad.” He pulled me forward and kissed me.

I put my hands around his neck and fisted his shirt in my hand. He shifted his weight on me and I pushed him against the lockers, making him growl and kiss me harder. He ran his hands up my shirt and groaned on my lips.

I pulled away from him and he smiled. “If I had known you were going to kiss me like that babe, I would’ve kissed you earlier.”

“I’m going to get to class.” I pulled away from his grip and started to walk away but he called my name. I turned around and he walked up to me.

“Are you going with me after school?” He asked.

“To where?”

“Me and Mason are going to his place. I think it would be fun if we all hung out together. Will you come?”

Should I? I mean, I remember that I used to hate Harry. But maybe this will be my chance to get to know him. “Yeah, I’ll come.”

He gave me a grin and walked away and to his class. When I walked into mine, Dianne looked at me gasped. I ignored her and sat down in my seat in front of Julian.

“What happened to you new girl?” He whispered in my ear.

“Just a little makeover.” I muttered.

“It suits you well. You look good.” Is he seriously flirting with me? God Julian I don’t have time for this. Yeah, I still like you. But, I can’t choose between both of you.

“Thank you Julian.” I sighed.

Maybe I shouldn’t go to Mason’s house today with Harry. Maybe I should just go to Tara’s, get my things, and settle in at the foster home. Should I go with Harry?
