Roses & Wallflowers

“Haize! Haize you need to come here!” Luke yelled my name from across the parking lot.

“I have to leave with Harry.” I said.

Then her expression went from needy to exciting. “Then definitely come over here!” I walked over to her and she smiled. “So I take it that the outfit worked? What did he do to you?”

“It was just a small kiss.” I blushed.

“Were there lockers involved in this little kiss?” I nodded my head and she gasped. “Then it wasn’t a little kiss at all my dear.”

I laughed, “So what did you want. Harry is probably waiting on me.”

“Oh yeah. I’m throwing a New Year’s Eve party. I want you to invite as many people as you can. This party is going to absolutely amazing.”

“Luke. Have you seen the way people look at me and treat me? They won’t come to my party even if I practically begged them.”

“Oh but they will.” She raised her eyebrows and I crossed my arms.

“What are you planning?” I asked, squinting my eyes.

“Well let’s just say that you won’t be wearing your clothes tomorrow at school or tomorrow at the party.” I smiled and shook my head. “And don’t forget to invite your best friend Julian. I don’t care if you invite that nerd that sits with you at lunch, but I want to meet this Julian. Oh, and don’t forget to invite Harry.” She smiled and got into her car.

I bit my lip, smiling, and then I walked away. I didn’t know where Harry’s car was parked, so I just stood there looking around.

Until I saw him leaning up against his black Challenger. His lean body showing as his body structure showed perfectly in the sunset. He smiled when he saw me and I slowly walked up to him.

“You still look amazing as you did when I kissed you this morning.” He mumbled, putting his hand on my chin.

“Oh, thanks.” I blushed again.

“So are you coming with me?” He asked, looking down at me and his hair falling above his eyes. I nodded my head and went to get in the passenger side but he grabbed my arm. “You better pay up sweet cheeks.”

I laughed and he leaned down and engulfed my lips with his. He let out a deep breath and I pulled away from him.

“Hey do you want to come to my New Year’s party tomorrow?” I bit my lip.

“Oh baby you know that I’d go anywhere with you.” He chuckled and I got in the passenger side of the car.

We arrived at Mason’s at 5:30, since school lets out at 4:30. It took us an hour to get there, and it was a tiring ride.

Mason gasped when he opened the door, “Naive, pretty girl. How are you?” He hugged me and Harry and him made eye contact, making Mason take a step back from me.

“What was that about?” I laughed at Mason.

“Hey girl.” I looked over to see Nate and his gang of blondes and I rolled my eyes. “What, you don’t like me? I thought we had a thing.” He walked up to me and put his hands on my waist.

“Nate. What is wrong with you? Get off.” I tried to pull away but he pulled me into him, and I punched him right in the nose.

Then Mason and Harry started rolling laughing.

“I’ll get you one day flower.” Nate said, covering his nose and backing away from me.

“Yeah that’s what you think Nate.” Harry said, walking up to me.

I spent the rest of the day at Mason’s and Harry took me over to Tara’s at around 12:30 so I could pick up my clothes. And Tara wasn’t too happy about that.

Harry helped me carry my things to my room and then Luke wanted to talk to him.

“Hello boy. Now that you’ve made up with my sister here, I want to know you.” She said when she walked into my room. She walked up to him, holding out her hand, “I’m Luke.”

“I’m Harry.” He shook her hand.

“What do you do for a living?”

“I’m the leader of a gang.”

“Nice. What are your plans with Haize?”

“Um, I don’t know. I guess I’ll just ride on the tracks of life’s rollarcoaster and deal with where it takes me.”

“That was deep man. Real deep.” Then she walked out of my room and smiled.

“So what are your plans with me Styles?” I smiled, pulling on the collar of his jacket.

“Well right now, I’m going to kiss you and leave. And tomorrow,” He unclipped my pants, making me shudder and smile nervously, “I’m going to show you the time of your life. I don’t care how hard you shove me away.”

He then pulled me into him and roughly shoved his mouth onto mine. I smiled into the kiss and he put his hands on my back, pressing his fingertips roughly onto my skin.

“Okay you two lovebirds. Time to release from your spells.” We pulled away from each other and Luke was standing at my door.

Harry kissed my forehead and when he walked to my door, Luke bowed up at him and he took a step towards her, making her shrink under him. I laughed and he shook his head, walking away and out of the house.
