Welcomed Into The Darkness

Lilac's POV

I haven't been seeing much of Rose lately. The last time I saw her was when we were at the diner. Not that I'm complaining, since I really needed time to think and sort things out with myself.
I think I'm starting to like Ashton, and it scares the hell out of me. I know that I shouldn't, but I just can't help myself. There's just something that draws me to him that I can't seem to explain.
I'm not thinking straight. Rose told me to stay away and that's what I'll do, I just don't know how long I can stay away.
After I come home from the store I start to think to myself of when Calum was helping and how me he looked tense. I think that Ashton told him to stay away from me, but why would he do that.
I hear the door slam shut and Rose walks into the living room, muttering things under her breath, which is something she does that only when she's sad,frustrated,or angry.
"Hey Rose what's wrong" I said to her comfortingly
"Nothing,Lilac" she says to me
"No! Tell me I'm tired of you never telling me anything" I yelled at her because she's always treating me like a child and keeps keeping secrets from me.
"Okay Lilac, I'll tell you" she tells me with a defeated tone
After a few minutes of her simply thinking of something to say, I get tired of it and speak up.
"Well tell me" I said to her needy
"You know those guys that we met at the diner?" she questioned me
"Yeah, of course" I said
"Well, you see two of the guys we met the ones that yelled at Michael and Calum, Ashton and Luke, well I think that we should stay away from them" she said to me
"Yeah, you've told me that before, but you've never said why" I remind her
"Well I kinda eavesdropped on them and heard them talking about us, me and you" she told me with her head down
"Well what did they say about us" I urged her
"I heard Ashton say that he's gonna find a way to make us theirs" she said looking up from the ground,so that I could see tears welling in her eyes. "No matter what it takes and I don't even think they care about what we think" she adds
And I felt tears welling in my eyes too.
"Why would they do that, or even consider it? If they liked us they should sit down with us and get to know us first" I said sadly to her
"Because that's how they are, at least that's what people tell me" she tells me with her dropping eyes
"What do people tell you about them, Rose!?" I told her aggressively
"Well, they tell me that they are killers, cold blooded murders that only toy around with girls and then throw them out like they're a piece of trash. If someone lies to them they cut them. If someone betrays them they kill them. Lilac, they're really bad people" she tells me with tears
"No!! Calum and Michael, they acted so nicely to us!!You're wrong Rose" I yelled at her with my tear stained face.
"Lilac they only acted that way because they want to draw us in and use us!!" She yelled at me
I thought about what she said. Is that true?
Ashton's POV
"Luke what do you want to do" I asked Luke
"We'll lets see let's kidnap them" said luke convincingly
"Are you fucking out of your mind? No! They would really hate us if we did that" I yelled at Luke not liking that plan,I'm not that cruel, well maybe, but still
"Well what do you suppose we do, Ashton" Luke tells me
"I think that we should take them out on dates and show them the real us, not the us that people describe us as. Show them that we can care. That we can love. That we can be kind. That we can be the opposite of what people say we are" I tell him while a smile came upon my face, one of those smiles that could make the whole room light up.
"Yes! Ashton you're a genius." He tells me
"No shit. Anyways Luke here's the catch you can't show them any reason to hate you okay" I tell him cautiously
"Ashton you do know that you should be telling yourself that too, right" he tells me nervously
"Yeah, I know but Luke you know I can do this I have done it before and besides I'm very convincing" I tell him
"It's gonna be hard. What if someone has already told them about us?" he tells me
"Then we work with it" I tell him
Rose's POV
Lilac looks at me with her tear stained cheeks and red eyes and I'm pretty sure that's how my face looks like also.
"Rose who told you about this? About what they are? What they do?" She yells at me, I sit there shocked "What if Those PEOPLE are lying to you" she yells at me
"How can they lie to me if they are also people who have done it" I questioned her
"Who told you this, Rose?" she whispers to me
I stand at look straight at her before opening my mouth to tell her
"Michael and Calum told me and they did all this too" I say
She looks shocked. Almost as if she was about to fall on the ground and break into pieces.
