Rose's POV
I brought the last box of clothes into my new room. Nick made me move into the 'gang house', since he thought me sharing an apartment room with the enemy would be bad for the two groups. I didn't exactly mind though, considering Lilac has been giving me the cold shoulder since she found out I joined 'Serpents'.
"It won't be so bad" Viper assures me. He has surprisingly been helpful since the whole argument with Nick a few weeks ago.
"Right" I say, not buying his failed attempt to soothe me.
"Get changed, we're heading out soon" I heard Nick's voice say
"Slutty or comfortable?" I ask, not knowing if this is a job I need to prepare for, or just a normal outing.
"A little of both. We're in need of recruits and we can't do that by sitting on our asses and unpacking our personal belongings." he says before disappearing into his own room
"How am I supposed to be slutty and comfortable? He is unbelievable" I groan.
"Just wear a cropped top and sweats. The top isn't slutty but it'll show off your chest, and you won't have to go through the pain of wearing jeans." Viper explains
"Why are you helping me, Viper?" I ask, the curiosity gnawing at me.
"You're going to need someone for the time being, and we both know Nick will not be that person. Don't get used to it though" he says before he too disappears.
I let his words float in my mind as I go through my boxes. It's true, this whole thing has been weird for me, and it was nice to know that I can at least count on someone, even if it was only for a short period of time. I quickly change into something similar to what Viper described and do my make up. I smile, actually liking the fashion advice from a guy.
When I walk out of my room, the two boys are wearing a t-shirt, leather jacket and dark jeans.
"What the fuck l are you wearing?" Nick asks me
"This" I say, not about to get into anything with him
"The hell you are. Go change" he orders
"Like fuck I am. You said half and half. This is the best you're going to get" I sneer
"Dude, just let her. All we're going to do is find more people. Why the fuck should we care what they feel about our baiter?" Viper asks
"We care because the baiter is the backbone. Without her, we're nothing." he says, walking up to me, shifting my top down slightly. Because of this, I scoff. He's such a pig
"That'll have to do. Now come on" he says, being the first to walk out the door.
"I'll pull my own damn shirt down when I please, you fucker" I grumble, hearing a deep chuckle coming from Viper
"What?" I ask
"I forgot how cute you are when you're grumpy" he shrugs, leaving without another word, and I follow shortly behind him.
Luke's POV
Two weeks. Two fucking weeks since I last spoke to Rose. I've seen her around, baiting in people for Nick, and each time the need to rip his head off became more frequent. I can't even get with some other girl for one night because each time I would try, Rose's smile was plastered inside of my eyes. Dammit, I hate how much I miss her and crave her presence. This shouldn't be happening. I don't care for anyone, especially not some girl, but Rose creeped her way inside of me and now I am like some lovestruck sucker who's wrapped around her finger.
The worst part is she doesn't even know it. She doesn't get that she will always be the one for me, and she hates every fiber of my being now. I don't even know how to change her mind anymore.
"Rose, hurry the fuck up!" This statement made me stop myself from walking, and when I turn around, I see Viper and Nick, Rose following shortly behind them
"How about you slow the fuck down!" she says, making me smile knowing she still isn't putting up with anyone's bullshit.
"We have to meet up with them soon, and you're not making this process any easier" Nick growled
"Tell me again when I give two shits" she says, and I see Nick turn, ready to do something, but before I can intervene, Viper already does so.
"Calm the hell down Nick." Viper says, holding his arm to the fuckers chest.
"Fine" Nick stands down, storming off without another word.
"You really need to learn to shut your pretty little mouth sometimes Rosey" Viper chuckles, and Rose simply smiles and shrugs, making a pain grow in my stomach. Rose turns to see me, but before I can wave to her, she turns back around and keeps walking.
To say that hurt like a bitch would only explain half the pain I am experiencing right now. The only thing I can do now that I see that she's moved on is do the same. I need to go back to my old ways before everything goes to shit.

I have no idea how to express how sorry I am for not updating for so long. I have been swamped with school, but I am off for 3 whole weeks so I will try my very best to update as much as I can. Thxx to everyone who has been so patient with me and this story..... Love u guys Xx
