Welcomed Into The Darkness

Rose's POV
I try my best to cover the dark circles under my eyes with my concealer for the fourth time this week as I get ready to meet up with the gang once again. The only thing going through my mind right now would be how much Luke is to blame for this. He has been coming with random girls every damn day and has not held back one bit when he would basically shove his tongue down their throats right in front of me. Sleep has been the last thing I've been doing since every time I would close my eyes to get some sort of peace, I see him and his damn smile and piercing blue eyes.
"Rose, come on. We're going to be late again and Ashton isn't going to go easy this time" Lilac informs me, and I apply the last of my make up before getting up from my bed and grabbing my phone.
"You know I could make up an excuse so you don't have to go today" she tells me, her eyes showing pity.
"Why, so Luke could know that he broke me bad enough to the point where I have to hide?" I laugh dryly but her expression stays the same, making me sigh "I'd rather face my problems than hide from them and you know it Lilac. I'll be fine, alright?" I say and she sighs, knowing she can't do anything to stop me.
"Alright, let's go than" she says before we both leave the apartment and I brace myself for what is to come when I see the one guy I actually have ever loved, and coincidently, the only person to truly break my heart. I find it funny to see that love begins with 'L' and heartbreak begins with 'H' and those are his damn initials of the one and only Luke Hemmings.
Luke's POV
I don't know if seeing the pain in Rose's eyes gives me satisfaction or not. She caused me what she feels everytime I bring a new girl with me, but I can't seem to find the same comfort as I did with girls before I met Rose. I miss her fucking remarks every time I did something stupid or her smart ass always commenting on the smallest things that I have done.
"Luke" the squeaky voice of the girl who's name I don't recall calls for me.
"What" I hiss.
"You're spacing out again" she giggles, only feeding my annoyance
"Can you just leave" I growl, rubbing my eyes as an attempt to calm myself down
"But I thought-" she starts but Ashton cuts her off
"You heard him, leave. Or would you like Michael and Calum to force you out?" he says, gesturing to the two who are to the side and minding their own business.
The girl just storms off after that, probably angry that she was used. As she leaves, two other girls walk towards us, but these girls I don't think are as bad. Lilac walks straight to Ashton and he engulfs her in a tight embrace. Rose on the other hand just walks over to Michael and Calum, without taking one glance in my direction.
I watch as they talk amongst themselves and I realize that I revoked my own privileges to do so with her.
"She misses you" I hear Lilac say from behind me and I turn to see her with her arms crossed over her chest.
"Is this coming from the same girl who told me off before?" I ask
"That was before I realized how much you mean to her" she says, coming closer to me
"And by that you mean?" I ask, my eyebrows furrowing together in confusion.
"She's really good at hiding her feelings so you obviously can't see it, but behind closed doors, her little brave face that she puts on is gone. I can hear her crying everytime I pass her door on my way to my own room. She loves you Luke and the only thing you're doing is hurting her even more. What the hell were you thinking bringing some random ass girls here to try and show her that you're over her?" she says
"I was thinking that I could forget for a little while how much I love your sister! That's what I was thinking." I snap
"Than show her that you love her. If I know anything about my sister is that for her, actions speak louder than words." she says before turning and walking back to Ashton.
I turn my attention back to Rose and I know exactly what to do to get her back.
*Few Hours Later*
Luke's POV
I make my way over to where Calum is before he gets the time to leave, seeing this is my only chance to ask him.
"Hood!" I yell and he turns to look my way.
"What's up?" he asks
"I need to ask you a favor" I say
"Alright" he says, clearly confused, considering that I don't normally ask him for anything.
"Do you still write songs?" I ask him
"Why? So you and Ash can mock me again?" he gets defensive
"No, I need Rose back and I need your help" I explain
"Alright, I'll see what I can do." he tells me
"Thanks" I say "And if anybody finds out about our conversation, I'll personally take the time to kill you" I warn him
"Now there's the Luke I know" he chuckles before turning and leaving. If I am going to get Rose, back, this will be the only way to do so.
