Luke's POV
I watch as Rose walks out and as much as I want to run after her, I stay in my spot. Michael turns to face me before shaking his head and runs after her. Apart of me wanted to just grab him by his collar and keep him in here so he won't go near Rose, but another part of me knew that Rose needs someone to talk to that will actually calm her down and not get her even more angry.
I bring my hands up to my hair and run my fingers through my quiff in frustration. Rose and I were okay before I snapped at her this morning on the phone and now she is beyond pissed with me. Now, I just hope that Michael can calm her down and bring her back to me, even though him helping my relationship seems unlikely
Rose's POV
"Okay, what do you have on your mind?" Michael asks, crossing his leg over the other and folding his hands together over his lap, trying to mimic a therapist, making me giggle
"I cannot take you seriously if you sit like that" I say, gesturing to his sitting position.
"I'm trying to make it seem like I know what I am doing" he argues
"Well, it's not helping. Just be yourself" I tell him and he nods, sitting regularly again.
"Alright, so what's up?" he asks again
"I like Luke" I sigh, only stating the obvious
"Well, no shit" he rolls his eyes
"I like him and I don't know if it is the right thing." I add, glaring playfully at him "I don't want to get hurt but I feel like that's all he can offer to me. We barely started to give us a try literally a few days ago and I'm already hurting" I explain
"Well, if you ask me, I think you guys rushed this whole couple thing. I get that you were attracted to him and he felt the same way, but what's the point in dating if you guys know absolutely nothing other than both of you guys are broken?" he says, which I saw truth in, seeing that we only know the background of each other. I don't know what he likes to do, what he hates, or any of the small things.
"What do I do? I'm scared that if I back out, he'll make my life in this gang a living hell" I admit.
"Just talk to him and if he does try something than I will help you. You're like my little sister" he says, messing up my hair with his hand.
"Thanks Mikey" I say, which he nods in response to.
"Enough of this sappy crap. Let's get back" he says, sitting up and waiting for me to do the same, but I stay put.
"I still have something else that is gnawing at me" I say
"What is it?" he asks, sitting back down
"I feel terrible for what happened last night. I know it was something that had to be done, but I never wanted to be labeled as a killer, and knowing that I did it because of my temper scares me" I say
"Look Rose, this gang is no joke and I am not going to lie to you and say that it will get easier, but you have to realize that your temper is a great trait for this gang, whether you want to believe that or not. Just don't think when it happens" he says
"Great, now you're saying that I need to do this" I mutter
"I'm only saying what I know will keep you alive. If I say that you need to control your temper, you'll end up dead" he tells me and I know he is right, so I just nod and avert my eyes to the concrete floor.
"Is there anything else you need to get off of your chest?" he asks and I shake my head before he leads me back to the rest of the guys.
Luke's POV
When I see Michael and Rose walking back, I smile since Rose actually wanted to come back after what happened, but I'm also scared that she is going to ignore me the entire time she is going to be here.
"Hemmings" I hear someone call and when I turn around I see Lilac walking up to me, surprisingly without Ashton by her side.
"Walker" I mimic
"Is something going on between you and my sister?" she got right to the point
"What makes you ask?" I avoid answering
"Well, when she snapped at you, she looked hurt, and that usually doesn't happen often with her, now I'm asking again. Is something going on between you and my sister?" she raises her eyebrow
"I don't know anymore" I sigh, wishing I did know and I could proudly say that Rose is mine, but I can't.
"Ok, well whatever you guys have, if you mess it up, you better watch it. I might only be one little girl to you, but don't fucking underestimate what I can do when it comes to my sister" she says
"Got it" I say
"I'm being serious. From what I saw today, you don't get anything. If she is hurt and I find out it's because you were being a fuck up-" she continues but I cut her off
"And I am being serious when I say that I got it. I don't mean to hurt her okay. You better know your place though, Lilac, because next to Ashton, I am in control. Get that through your head before you end up dead" I growl
"Is that a threat?" she says through clenched teeth
"I promise it is" I say, my face inching towards hers to make my point
"Ashton won't be so happy to hear this, will he?" she asks
"You think you're so smart just because you're with him, don't you? Well, here's something to think about. You are just another girl to him. Soon enough he'll find someone else and leave you like you were some old rag with no use to it anymore, so don't even try to use him against me" I hiss.
Her eyes become glossy and I realize that I let my anger get the better of me but before I could say anything to help me, she turns and runs off, most likely to find Ashton.
"This day just gets better and better" I mutter to myself.

Notes

Another bad ending and I am so sorry that this chapter is not the best, but I will go back later and edit it and probably change a few minor things if I have to. For now I hope you all enjoyed and I am so sorry if you wanted something better. Anyways, what do you guys think about what Luke told Lilac? Was she asking for it or did Luke go too far? Xx
