Lilac's POV
"We should get out of here" Ashton slurs. I think it's safe to say that we were both drunk beyond belief.
"No" I giggle "I want to stay a while longer" I slur
"Everyone already left but us. Come on" he tells me in my ear.
"Okay" I say and I get up from his lap and we stumble out of the bar. All I know is that I have had a great time, and being apart of the gang if it means I can spend more time with Ashton. Even though Rose can't see it, he is a good guy, and he cares about me. I haven't had that feeling since we moved here and it's good to know that I can trust him.
Ashton leads us to what I recognize is the way to my apartment. His hand is intertwined with mine and we stay silent as we walk.
"You're sister doesn't like me too much huh?" he slurs
"It shouldn't matter. She'll get over it soon enough" I say
"Why aren't you intimidated? Usually when someone sees me or the guys, the run for the hills, but Michael told me that you guys invited them to sit with you guys" he says
"I thought we needed friends." I shrug
"We're so drunk" he chuckles, changing the subject.
"Yup" I say, emphasizing the 'p'
"But we're drunk together" he says, and the one thing that stuck in my mind at that moment was 'together'
Rose's POV
In all honesty, when Luke said he knew of a place to go, I was expecting a abandoned building where we could be alone, but I didn't expect him to be talking about some hill where the moon seems to be shining at it's brightest and overlooks the city lights perfectly. It seemed so peaceful, so intriguing, something that I didn't expect from a guy in a gang.
"I hope this is alright" he says, scratching the back of his head.
"Yeah, it's fine" I say, sitting down on the grass and he sits beside me.
"So, little miss imperfect, what happened that made you and your sister pack your bags and move all the way to Australia, because your lack of an Australian accent shows your not from here" he says
"If I tell you, do you promise to tell me about your reason for feeling obliged to join a gang?" I ask, not willing to say something that brings horrible memories if he isn't willing to do the same.
"I promise" he says, and I take a deep breath, preparing myself to completely explain my life to someone that I couldn't stand just hours ago.
"It all started after my parents died. Lilac and I were on our own. Sure we were already old enough to be able to take care of ourselves, but we never really got along like we do now, and I guess it has to do with the fact that we are all that we have left to call family. Anyways, since we no longer had a father to show us love, Lilac thought it was a great idea to find a guy who can give her the love that she thought she needed. His name was Nick, and he seemed to be the best guy when you first meet him. He made her happy and I was okay with that. At least until he tried to make a move on me, and when I threatened to tell Lilac, he flipped, saying that if I ever do that, he would get his friends and take care of me so I wouldn't interfere with him and his girlfriend. Me being the stupid person that I am didn't think he was serious and told Lilac. She broke up with him and when he found out why, he went after me. Him and his friends went after me." I say, but I have to pause to control my emotions right now. "After that, he forced Lilac to be back with him, saying that the whole thing was a misunderstanding, and she believed him. She thought that I just got into a fight with someone who ticked me off, all because she thought that he loved her. He started abusing her shortly after they got back together. His friends thought they could get their way with me and I was too scared to even refuse after they hurt me. The only reason I am still here is because my mom kept telling me that no matter how bad things might seem, we need to show that threat that we aren't going to break. After a month of that, Lilac and I decided to start over somewhere where they can't find us. That's why we moved here. When we met you guys, I thought it was going to be like that all over again, which is why I've given you such a hard time" I finish
Luke's POV
Once she finishes, I process everything. She was raped and taken advantage of, and here I was, probably making her believe that I would do the same.
"Rose, I would never hurt you like they did" I say
"Enough about me. It's stupid anyways. What happened to you that made you join the gang?" she asks, and I knew I couldn't avoid it any longer. She already told me something that was obviously something that wasn't a random subject that can be told to anyone.
"Well, my dad left my mom to take care of my brothers and I when we were little. I didn't understand why at the time, but I just knew that it hurt my mom so much. She was struggling for years and when my brothers were old enough, instead of helping my mom, the helped themselves. After everything she's done for us, they were selfish. When I was old enough, I told my mom that I would try my best to help her so she won't have to be on her own anymore. I tried so hard to find a job that would support the both of us but every time I would fail to do so. Than I ran into Ashton and I guess he knew that I needed help and offered me a job. When I found out what him, Michael, and Calum were, I thought I would be in danger if I didn't do what they said, and because of this, Ashton grew to trust me. I became second in command and it's safe to say that Calum and Michael weren't too pleased but they got used to it. When my mom found out though, she wasn't happy in any way. She soon saw me as a killer. I tried to explain that it was for her but she refused to even be near me. I couldn't get over the fact that my own mother didn't want anything to do with me. I was the one to try to help her but all she saw was someone who was a threat to people. I still send her money but she doesn't want me visiting her anymore. The guys found out and since then, they were like brothers to me. They were there for me when my real brothers weren't. There more family to me than anything and I couldn't be happier than I am when I'm with them. That's why I'm still in the gang. I need the money for my mom, and even if I did want to leave, I can't leave my brothers. To everyone else, they're killers, but to me they're my brothers." I say before clearing my throat "So, now that we both said what we needed to, can we start over?" I ask
"Yeah" Rose says silently
"Just one more thing before we start over" I say before leaning in and kissing her lips softly and pulling away "I've been waiting to do that forever" I say and she simply smiles and blushes.
Things are finally coming together, and I couldn't be happier that we are getting along now.

Rose's POV
The night was coming to a close and I knew that I had to make a decision. To say that the night started off terribly would be an understatement, but knowing that once Luke and I were alone I enjoyed myself made me realize that maybe being in the gang wouldn't be so bad. Luke is so much more caring than I thought he was and once I thought about that, I knew my answer.
"So, now that we are all together and I am somewhat sober, I have a question for the two of you." Ashton says "Did you enjoy yourselves tonight?" he asks
"I definitely did" Lilac says
"Alright, what about you Rose?" Ashton asks
"Yeah, I did" I say, smiling as I look over to Luke.
"Welcome to the darkness, sweethearts" Ashton says. I look over to Michael and Calum and the don't seem to happy but I knew that I would have ended up here one way or another.

Hello everyone!! Another chapter is up and I have no idea if this is as good as I thought it was going to be but hopefully it is! So Lilac and Rose are now part of the gang! Thoughts?
