Welcomed Into The Darkness

Luke's POV
I'm not going to lie and say that I wasn't shocked when Rose agreed to go with us, but I will say that I sure as hell wouldn't have wanted her to turn down our proposition. If she did though, I don't think Ashton would take it as an answer. I doubt Rose would even be able to have a bad time with us, which made me hopeful that she will join us. Lilac already got with Ashton, so it will only be a matter of time before Rose is mine. That is one thing that I am definitely looking forward to.
Rose's POV
I walk behind Luke, Ashton and Lilac, not wanting to even be near them. They made both me and Lilac Thankfully, I will be able to talk to Michael and Calum for right now.
"So, do either of you guys have any idea of where we're going?" I ask them, hoping to get some answers
"Well, I doubt they would do anything dangerous with two girls here, but I am guessing they are going to a club or something" Calum explains
"That's it?" I ask, unsure if this was seriously everything they had in mind
"Hopefully, just stay near us alright?" Michael says softly so the other two won't hear. I nod in response, knowing I could trust them. They weren't as dangerous looking as Luke or Ashton so I knew it wouldn't be a problem to be with them all night.
"Is being in your gang a bad thing?" I ask, knowing that I would probably enjoy myself and if I tried to lie about it, Lilac would catch it and rat me out.
"Like Ashton said, it depends on how you look at it. I personally could go without all the girl drama but other than that, it's enjoyable" Calum shrugs. I would ask more questions, but I realize that I barely know anything about these guys, so I would rather ask about who they are outside of this vicious gang.
"So, what do you guys do outside of the gang? Or is this all you guys do every second of every day?" I ask
"Well, I don't really do anything else. This gang is like my family I never had. It's a nice feeling to know that you have three best mates who are basically your brothers to relate to." Michael says, but Calum remains quiet.
"Nice Michael" I comment, nudging his shoulder. I don't want to push Calum to say anything so I just stay quiet for a while. Eventually we got to our destination, which ended up being a club, and we waited to be let in.
Luke ended up finding his way to me and tries to grab my hand but I move my hand away from his, earning a heavy sigh from him.
"Come on sweetheart. If you are going to enjoy yourself, you have to let loose" he whispers in my ear, and I curse myself for allowing shivers go down my spine.
"Don't call me sweetheart" I hiss "And I'll let loose when I get a few drinks in my system" I whisper back in his ear, smiling when I see goosebumps raise on his arms.
When we were finally let in, there was sweaty dancing bodies everywhere. The smell of alcohol and sweat stinging my nostrils the moment I stepped into the place.
"Okay" Ashton yelled over the music so we could face him.
"Michael, Calum, you guys could go find yourselves someone. Luke and I will stay with the girls" he explains. My eyes widen when he says this. My plan was to stay with them and now I can't. I already know they won't try to argue against Ashton's commands, and I guessed right as they leave without another word.
"So, how about that drink?" Luke whispers in my ear, leading me to the bar. He orders the two of us beers and I down mine, the bitter taste of the liquid burning my throat.
"Woah, slow down" Luke chuckles, sipping from his own bottle and looking around. I notice him checking out some girl, making me roll my eyes
"If you want me to fall for you, at least try to hide it when your looking at some other girl, asshole" I say to him before slamming my bottle on the table and walking towards the dance floor. I needed to find someone who wasn't Luke. I began to sway my hips and soon I felt someone's hands against my waist. I smile, and look behind me to see a good looking guy dancing with me.
"I saw you and your boyfriend fighting" he whispers in my ear
"He's not my boyfriend" I immediately knock that out of any further questions
"Oh, well in that case, my name's Derek." he introduces himself
"Rose" I say
"Can I buy you a drink?" he asks
"Sure" I nod, making him smile from ear to ear. I can tell he is tipsy but I don't really care right now.
When Derek returns, he hands me a drink and we both sip on it, and I notice that mine is sort of fruity, but I like it. We begin to have a normal conversation but right when I think things were going well, someone nudges me back and stands in front of me, and it didn't surprise me when I saw it was Luke.
"Get away" he hisses
"Hey, she's not your girl, so why do you care?" Derek says
"She is my girl now leave" Luke says, pulling something out of his pocket. Derek's eyes widen before he leaves without another word. It wasn't until I got in front of Luke that I saw that he was holding a pocket knife
"Nice to know that you just claimed me like I'm a toy. It's awesome to know what I am to you" I say before turning on my heel, but he grabs my arm and swings me around to look at him
"What the fuck was that?! I let you have your fun and you go with some other guy?" he hisses
"Last time I checked, we weren't even friends, so don't act like we're anything more than what we are, which is nothing" I say before pulling my arm away from his and walk away. At least I don't have to worry about enjoying myself, because this is already a shitty night.
