Speak Up - Where We Share What We Think
Love, Love, Love
Okay,
I have lost count how many times I've seen in stories that the boys use the word Love towards the Girl.
Coming from London, we don't tend to use that word much (unless we're saying we love our partner of course..) but I get the feeling people from around the world may think differently?
The British humour and sarcasm often requires the word Love when we are confronting someone or just using Love instead of their actual name. Well, it does where I come from anyway, I've lost count how many times I've heard people turn around and say it in this sort of context:
'Excuse me, can I get past?'
'Sorry love, but I was here first.'
- The word Love is to be read in a sarcastic tone not a polite one.
Obviously you can write the boys calling her Love as much as you like. They can just keep saying Love in your story because you may Love the boys saying Love and after all it is your story, Love.
Don't think I'm hating on you Authors who like to write the boys in this way, you pursue them exactly how you want too.
I'd like to know if you often do this in your story and give your opinion too!
Don't be afraid to to shut me up :) Speak Up <3
