I was awakening by a wet lick across my face. "Tobi?" I said as I rubbed my eyes, trying to take off the rest of my remaining slumber.

He barked at me, as if telling me to get off my lazy ass.

"Not right now boy, I'm tired" I yawned.

He growled at me and jumped off my bed.

He tugged on my blanket and ran out the room with it.

"Ugh" I groaned as I put a pillow on my face.

Today is a Saturday and I'm so lazy to get up. It's been about a month or so since the incident with the Horans, and the whole asking me out with Jake, and also of Jake and I dating. Yes THE Jake dating ME, Evelyn Hart, also known as Lynn Hart.

"Lynn Hun, why does Tobi have your blanket?" my mom asked as she entered my room.

"Cause he wants me to get up, he woke me up right now" I yawned as I sat up.

"Ok Hunny" she said walking out my room. ".... Oh sweetie?" she reentered my room.

"Yeah mom?"

"Adri and Suzzie are here, I think that's why Tobi woke you up" she laughed as she stood there.

"So early?"

"Lynn it's almost afternoon" she said as she leaned against my door frame.

"Really? I must have been really tired then," I laughed "Alright tell them I'll be down in a sec" I stretched my arms and legs out and let out a big yawn.

"Ok," she sigh as she left my room once again.

"Hmm I wonder what they want,” I thought out loud as I climbed out of bed. Then at a sudden move, I had an urge to pee. I ran inside my bathroom and closed it behind me.

As I finished my "business", I washed my hands, face and teeth, and brushed my hair.

I didn't bother changing my clothes, thinking that they were just my girls. So I just walked out my room and down the stairs. As I was half way down, I heard chattering about clothes, and giggles. I laughed as I heard my best friends talking. Then, I heard a barked and looked down to my left, and there right below me, stood two males. A curly haired one, and the other with light brown hair up in a quiff. They were so distracted by Tobi, that they didn't notice my presence.

"Great, just great" I mumbled. I was about to go upstairs to change into more presentable clothes, that is until Tobi decide to embarrass me and run upstairs to tug at my embarrassing pajama pants.

"Hey where you going boy?" Jake turned curiously to where the small German shepherd pup was running.

Both males followed the young dog, curiously as to where he might lead them.

"L-Lynn?" Jake breathed, shocked at my presence.

Shoot he saw me, THEY saw me. Instead of walking like a sloth, you should've ran, ever thought of that? My conscious spat at me, I mentally rolled my eyes.

"Hi" I awkwardly waved my hand to them both.

Jake was wearing an unbutton red and white flannel, revealing a gray shirt, with black jeans, and white/black converse. While Harry was wearing a black unbutton flannel on top of a plain navy blue T-shirt, dark jeans, and white converse.

"Uhm... I see that you are a big fan of... The little mermaid" Harry said as he tried to hold back his laugh.

"I know what I'm going to get you for your birthday now" Jake chuckled as he walked up towards me.

I felt my cheeks hot, filled with embarrassment. I avoided Jakes eyes as he finally met me to where I was standing. Both males teasingly smirking at my embarrassing clothing.

"I was cold! And it was also the only comfortable piece of clothing I found!" I swung my arms in the air. But that only made my situation worst than it already was. They both laughed at my protest.

"Oh really?" Jake questions me.

"It was a gift alright? A gift from my aunt, and it's very comfortable" I crossed my arms as I gave him a glare. Jake laughed as he embraced me in his arms and gently kissed my forehead.

"Haha ok" Harry couldn't control his laughter. I gave him a hard look.

"Why are you here?" I angrily said. They're laughter’s soon faded and smiled at me. "What?"

Two females entering the room interrupted “We wer-” Harry.

"Lynn!" they both yelled.

"Where the- oh there you are" Sissy said as she looked up towards Jake and me.

"What?" I spat.

"Gosh, woke up at the wrong side of the bed little lion?" Adri Joked.

"Na, she's just upset cause we were teasing her" chuckled Jake as he held me in his arms.

"Oh?" Sissy raised an eyebrow as she crossed her arms. "And why were you teasing her?"

"She's wearing her little mermaid pajama, isn't she?" Adri giggled.

Instead of responding, Harry let out a big laugh, answering Adri's question.

"I'm just glad that Niall isn't here" I mumbled, now he would blackmail me until senior year. Jake chuckled, as he was the only one to hear me.

"I'm going to go change,” I said out of annoyance as I wiggled out of Jakes hold and climbed upstairs.

"All right, and come down to the kitchen to eat breakfast!" yelled out Adri as she entered the kitchen along with Sissy and Harry.

"Ok mom!" I sarcastically stated.

I noticed someone behind me, thinking it was Tobi I let it past. That is until two strong arms were wrapped around my waist and picked me up.

"Jake!" I squealed, "Put me down!"

He put me down and spun me around. "Jake when I said I was going to change, I meant me, alone!" I stumped my foot.

"Aw C'mon ba-"

"Woods! What the hell do you think you're doing?" Adri crossed her arms.

Jake was as surprise as I was. We didn't notice when she walked upstairs.

"Uh... What are you talking about?" Jake nervously said.

"Adri it's not what it looks like" I shook my hands in front of her.

"It better not be, be happy that your mom left to work" she said.

"Adri, why would you think that? And doesn't she know that he and Harry are here?" I said pointing at Jake, trying to change the subject.

"Yeah.." she sigh.

"What the hell? Why didn't she tell me?" I angrily said.

"Cause I somehow knew you were going to where something embarrassing, so I told her not to tell you" she smirked, and Jake stood there, covering his mouth, trying to control the laughter from coming again.

"I hate you!" I spat as I opened my room and let Tobi in.

"You love me!" she said as she walked downstairs again.

I was about to shut my door as a foot stopped me from closing it.

"What Jake?" I sigh as I reopened my bedroom door.

"Let me come in" he whispered.

I looked up and sparkling blue eyes were hopefully staring down at me.

"Fine" I said as I let him inside and shut the door.

He sat on my bed and looked around.

"Nice room" he said as he looked at my light and dark purple painted walls. He walked towards the other side of my room and sat on my bed next to Tobi. "No little mermaid?" he chuckled. I gave him a hard look and crossed my arms across my chest. "I'm joking,” he said as he approached me in the other side of the room and embraced me in his arms.

"Well it's not funny,” I mumbled into his chest.

"I know, I'm sorry,” He whispered in my ear and bend down to sweetly kiss my lips. His lips felt so good against mine; I never wanted this to end. The way they perfectly fit together, and moved in sync. I wanted to savor this moment, never wanting this to end. But we sadly have to, as we are humans, and need oxygen to survive this cruel, cruel world.

Jake broke off the kiss and rested his forehead against mine. Our eyes closed, as we breathed heavily, do to the short make out section a few seconds ago. I snuggled closer, enjoying his warmth right here, right now.

"I'm going to go change now" I whispered.

"Alright" he said as he pecked my lips once more and returned to his previous place. I walked over to my closet to find something to wear.

"Babe?" He asked as I heard him shuffle in my bed.

"Yeah?" I turned my head towards his direction. "What is it?" I asked.

"Where's your blanket?"

"Tobi took it away from me this morning, I don't know where he took it" I laughed as I continued to look for clothes.

"Is it a dark purple one with light purple polka dots?"

"Yeah it is" I turned to him.

"Yeah he took it to the living room" he chuckled as he lay down.

"Oh... Jake? What was Harry going to say before he got cut off by the girls?" I asked as I turned back around, shifting my clothes back and forth.

"Oh yeah, we're going to a party later on and we wanted you to come" he shifted a bit.

"Jake I don't think I can I didn't ask my mom" I sigh.

"Yeah, that's why we asked her when we came here, we were here since ten" he chuckled as he sat up and popped out his elbows, resting his body against it.

My eyes widened as I processed what he told me.

"W-what?" I breathed.

"Yeah, we were here since ten, your mom told us you were still sleeping and to come back later, but we insisted into staying until you wake up" he stretched his arms and let out a grunt. "So while you were sleeping, we asked her and she said you can go," he smiled.

"Oh" was the only thing that I said. "What kind of party is it?" I asked.

"It's Shane's birthday,” he said.

"Well know I know what to wear," I laughed and he chuckled as he played with Tobi.

I picked out a black, strapless blouse, my teal skinny jeans, and went to my drawers to get a clean pair of panties and a strapless bra. Luckily Jake wasn't looking at me, and had his focus on my dog.

"I'm going to shower ok?" I said as I walked inside my bathroom and locked the door.

I turned on the warm water, and stripped down my pajamas. I hopped in my bathtub, closed my shower curtain and let the warm water hit my skin. The water was so warm and nice against my skin. I let the warm water wet my hair as I reached down to get my shampoo. I poured some in my hand, and rubbed both my hands together before I applied it to my hair. I massaged my head, as I inhaled the sweet odor of lavender. I opened my shower curtain, and found a black hair tie on top of the counter. I reached and grabbed the hair tie and tied my hair up into a wet, soapy bun. I closed my shower curtain once again, and grabbed a sponge. I put soap in it and I then continued on scrubbing my body. I finished and let down my wet, soapy hair. I let the warm water wash away all the soap off of my body. Once I was soap free, I turned the water knob off and grabbed my dark blue towel and wrapped it around my body, and grabbed a purple towel and wrapped it around my hair. I stepped out, and my bathroom was filled with steam. I dried my body and hang it on top of the shower curtain to dry off. I slipped on my panties along with my bra and jeans. I put on my blouse and walked out. I heard growls from both Tobi and Jake. I walked towards them, and discovered that they were playing tug-a-war. I laughed as Jake kept growling back every time Tobi either barked or growled.

"He likes you" I said as I unwrapped the towel and let my wet hair loose, I then bend down to the two males.

"Yeah?" he said as he looked at me with a grinned.

"Absolutely!" I smiled as I kissed his cheek and hugged him.

It was five in the afternoon, almost time for the party and everyone was still here in my house arguing about how we are going to get there. Me, being the one with an enormous appetite, made them order Chinese food, my fave.

"Ok, since I'm the only one who can drive, I guess I'll have to be the chauffeur." Sissy sigh as she rested her head on the palm of her hand.

"Well thanks for volunteering Sissy" I rolled my eyes and ate more noodles.

"Gosh Lynn, we ordered the Chinese food for all of us not just you" Adri chuckled as she playfully hit my back.

"I'm hungry alright? And none of you are eating, you're just arguing" I said while shoving fried rice in my mouth. I heard Jake and Harry chuckle at my response.

"I mean I've always heard that you had a big appetite, but I thought they were just saying that because they were jealous girls," Jake said as he came closer to me and sat on the empty chair next to me "I was absolutely wrong, you do have a big appetite" he laughed as he hugged me and kissed my cheek.

"Not now! I'm eating!" I gently pushed off his hands and continued eating. Adri, Sissy, and Harry laughed at Jake.

"Rejected" Harry said as he played with Tobi.

"Rejected, rejected, you just got rejected. R-E-J-E-C-T-E-D Rejected!" the girls laughed as they quoted Zoe and Lola from Zoe 101.

I laughed at Adri and Sissy's duet. I looked at Jake, he blushed and hid his face, at our friends joking with him, and he looked so adorable. I poked his cheek, and he looked up at me, and I smiled warmly at him. He grinned back; I bend down to gently kissed his soft lips.

"Oh, C'mon!" Adri said as she covered her eyes. "Get a room!" she spat as she walked out the backyard.

"While you’re at it, can you pour some fresh food and water in Tobi's bowls?" I said as I stood up and looked at her.

"Kay" she waved her hand at me.

It was time for the party. We all left out my door, I was last, I grabbed my purse, phone and key. I locked the door and walked towards the group. I climb in the backseat with Harry and Jake, while the girls were sited in front.

"Where does he live, Woods?" Sissy said as she started the car.

"Uh... Go all the straight and take a left at the second light post" he said as he had an arm over my shoulder.

I looked up to Harry; he was looking out the window, probably thinking about something. While Jake was giving directions to Shane's house, I decided to make small talk with Harry.

"Hey" I nudge Harry's shoulder. He looked at me surprised, "something wrong?" I asked.

"N-no, why would you think that?" he asked.

I stared into he green eyes, "Well, I mean you're awfully quiet, so I thought maybe something is bothering you" I whispered.

"No, I'm just thinking about stuff, nothing to worry about love" he gave me a reassurance smile. I didn't believe him, there has to be something bothering him, I just know it.

"Ok" I sigh as I gave him a smile.

I looked ahead and we stopped in front of a pair of gates. Two security guards were standing in front of them.

"Hi there Mr. Rob and Mr. Mac" Jake said waving at two strongly built men in front of us.

"Mr. Woods, came with friend huh?" said one of them.

"Yeah, sure did" Jake chuckled.

"Alright, have fun kids" they open the gates and let us in.

I looked around and it was a big house. I heard that Shane is pretty wealthy, but wow, this house is big!

"We're here!" beamed sissy as she parked her car, in the drive through area.

We all climbed off the car, and walked up the small stairs. We stood in front of the house. Jake opened the door and walked inside with his arm protectively around my waist as we walked in, the house was enormous, and there was so much space in here. All the girls stared at him with awe. I couldn't blame them, he's incredibly hot, and the nicest guy I've ever met. They all looked at me with death stares, I just ignored them as I followed Jake inside to where Niall and Shane were talking.

"Hey man!" Shane greeted Jake with a pumped fist. "Glad you made it" he grinned.

I looked up to Niall, and surprisingly he greeted me with a warm smile. He's probably drunk.

"Hey there Lynn" he said, and his hot breath hit my face, my nostrils were filled with odor of alcohol. Yep, he's drunk.

"Hey there Niall," I tried to not make a face.

"Bro, are you drunk?" asked Jake as he focused on Niall.

"Ah leave him, it's my birthday!" laughed Shane as he drank from a red cup, which I assume has alcohol.

"Man, you know how he gets when he's drunk!" snarled Jake. "Why did you let him?!"

"C'mon live a little would ya?" Shane sighs as he poured punch on a red cup and handed Jake the drink.

"Na man" he pushed Shane's hand away.

"C'mon! Just one" he pleaded.

"Fine, only one" Jake said as he took the cup from Shane's hold and sipped the contaminated punch with alcohol.
