I'm in the first place till now I looked at the end line and began my calculations
1 minute and 2.5 seconds and I'll be there , I smiled to myself
"Why are you that hurry you are not gonna do it anyway Runnor " the girl who was in the 2nd said to me in contempt
[she was my old school's classmate and that " Runnor " was something they used to call me referring to my mother's runaway ]
Saying that made my worst memories come to life again , as if she revived them
6 years of disrespect , humiliation and abuse ………..
"hah Run girl Run like how your mother ran away from you "
"look at her , she is so pathetic even her mom couldn't stand living with her "
" Are you stupid or something ? why are you still here in the school , you really have no shame just like you mum "
("coach I'm quitting , I can't do it anymore , I can't run anymore "
" is it because of what your classmates tell you ?"
I remained silent
"you can't let them conquer you like that …. you told me before that you are a FIGHTER remember? ")
"you BITCH what are you doing here in the school's gym ? daughter's of sluts aren't allowed here"
Those voice echoed and kept replaying in my mind
"Go Go Goooooooo U can do it Princess " my dad's voice echoed in the stadium snapping me from my flashbacks
OR to be more specified my NIGHTMARES .
I looked around now I was the third and I was losing hope to do it ….. but my dad's encouragement always pushed me to do my best as if it was my adrenaline , so I ran as if there is no tomorrow .
30 seconds till the end line and I'm The 2nd now ………. NO WAY IN HELL
"yeeeeeeeeeeeeees that's my girl , that's my princess" my dad jumped when I ripped the end line ……….. I Did It ?
I DID IT
Well it's not like the first time , I'm the racer of my school for 3 years after all .
so why am I that happy about it ?
Cause it's the Biggest competition I have ever joined , it's held between all of the schools in the state !
It was the perfect answer to everyone did look small at me .
"YOU DID IT PRINCESS" my dad shouted running to me lifting me from the ground and spinning me , I giggled to his chest but then faked a pout
"appa I told you not to call me "PRINCESS" around others" I creased my eyebrows and pouted more emphasizing the word
"I don't care about others You are my PRINCESS" my dad simply shrugged and put me down pouting too
We laughed together and I hugged him tightly this time
"I love you appa" I whispered to his chest .
