Summary
Prince Henry: Do you really think there is only one perfect mate?
Leonardo da Vinci: As a matter of fact, I do.
Prince Henry: Well then how can you be certain to find them? And if you do find them, are they really the one for you or do you only think they are? And what happens if the person you're supposed to be with never appears, or, or she does, but you're too distracted to notice?
Leonardo da Vinci: You learn to pay attention.
Prince Henry: Then let's say God puts two people on Earth and they are lucky enough to find one another. But one of them gets hit by lightning. Well then what? Is that it? Or, perchance, you meet someone new and marry all over again. Is that the lady you're supposed to be with or was it the first? And if so, when the two of them were walking side by side were they both the one for you and you just happened to meet the first one first or, was the second one supposed to be first? And is everything just chance or are some things meant to be?
Leonardo da Vinci: You cannot leave everything to Fate, boy. She's got a lot to do. Sometimes you must give her a hand.
I heard Ji-eun sighing deeply and paused the movie then she turned to look at me with her puppy eyes and pouted lips munching the popcorn
"Do you think there is only one perfect mate? " she asked me the same question from the movie
"I don't care or believe in this shit" I just shrugged and she hit my shoulder lightly
"hey , I'm serious " she whined and I looked at her with my (I'm no way kidding with U girl) face , she sighed again
"I used to ... believe in that ... I don't know if I'm still doing .... I wished he was my perfect mate suzy but now I'm sure he isn't " her eyes were bit teary then she looked up at the sky and her eyes sparkled
"oh i-it's a shooting star " she said in happiness
"quickly make a wish " she nudged me when she noticed me not caring a bit
she closed her eyes and clasped her hands
"please god help me and suzy to find our true perfect mate and never ever be separated " she prayed sincerely
"may god make my wish come true" she said looking at me with sparkling eyes
I said nothing just snatched the remote control from her and continued the movie ,
but deep inside I made a wish too
