Night Time, My Time

Delia's POV

Adele had been mad at me for now 2 days and I'm getting sick of it, yes I made mistakes in my past but it doesn't means that I'll do it again. I spent 2 days in my room, on my laptop and I'm bored. I stopped school more than a year ago because of all and I don't have a job because when my parents died they left me and Nathan shit loads of money, I don't have much friends either.

I really need to apologize though I hate when we fight. Since I'm not good at apologizing I wrote her a letter. I always do this, it started when I was really young. My mom use to tell me to apologize to people I'd hurt but I was really shy so I started writing letters, everyone though that was cute so I kept going even though I'm not shy anymore.

Letter:

To Adele,
I'm sorry for being mean, you have all the rights to be worried about me but you have to understand that I grew up and I am ready to finally enjoy life.
You know how hard it has been for me and you were there, I'll never thank you enough for it but i think it's time to move on. Again I'm sorry.

I got ready and I slid this under her door and exited our apartment to see Nathan, he was waiting in the coffeeshop down the street. While walking I thought about it. What if I'm wrong? What if I haven't changed? What if they don't like me? But I shrugged it off.

I already told Nathan about the trip, he was worried but he agreed and told me that if one of those "pricks" did something wrong he'll kill them.

He won't be able to come with me because he's working. I should work too or have a hobby, I love art, I should really start doing that again, I use to do my own music and draw a lot. I arrived at the coffeeshop and saw him flirting with the waitress.

Nathan has always been a flirt and my job was to ruin everything because I love bugging him. He didn't saw me entering so arrived next to him and said:

"Nathan, babe who is this?" I smirked.

"Oh I'm sorry I didn't know he was already with someone" the waitress shilly said.

"Yes he is my boyfriend" I said embracing him in a hug.

"No she's not my..." But before he could ad anything else the waitress was gone.

"I hate you so much" he sighed.

"Me too, come on let's get something to drink"

We ordered our coffees and sat at a table.

"How am I supposed to find a girlfriend if you're always doing this?"

"Doing what?" I innocently asked " and you can have girls easily so stop whining, we have that in our veins" I joked.

We talked for a while and joked, Nathan and I always had this relationship when we would joke about everything, he was still worried about me going in LA but all he wants is to see me happy besides I won't be alone their girlfriends are coming.

Nathan dropped me home, I immediately got in my room, turning my laptop on. I got on Twitter and saw tons of news about the boys, the fact that they were taking a 6 months vacation to work on their new album was not being unnoticed.

A lot of directioner was whining about it, I like One Direction but I'm not a fan it's not my kind of music. I logged in on skype and saw that Liam was connected.

"Hi"

"Hey Delia, what's up?"

"So I still don't know if I'll come, what if your friends don't like me" I said.

"They'll love you, I'm sure of that you are an amazing person De" he smiled making me blush but he doesn't know my passed and he'll never know I'm way too ashamed of that.

"When an I supposed to come?" I asked.

"Uh... in a week or so" he hesitated.

"Oh okay that's quite soon though"

"I know sorry by the way Sophia is really excited to meet you" he smiled.

"I'm too she seemed nice"

"She is"

We talked a little longer about the details apparently I'll be living with them in a huge house, I'm excited to leave this country, don't get wrong I love England but I've never been to another country before. After an hour or so, my door flew open revealing a sad Adele, I could see tears threatening to fall in her eyes.
Knowing what was going to happen I opened my arms letting her embracing me in a hug.

"If you need anything call me" she whispered.
