Night Time, My Time

Delia's POV

*A Week later*

"Hurry up! You're gonna be late!" Adele said.

"Help me close it" I said pointing my black suitcase. I finally finished packing and I'm ready to go, my flight is in less than an hour.

Adele has been helping me this whole week but I know she's sad but she'll come in a month spending a week with me making sure that in fine. I am excited. Liam's going to meet me at the airport when I land. I don't know if he'll come with the boys. Am I nervous? Hell yes!

I make sure that everything I need is in my suitcase and take a last glance at my reflection in the mirror. My hair is in its naturally waves and I'm wearing dark skinny jeans with a burgundy sweater and a tank top underneath. I know that in planes it tends to get cold but when I'll arrive in California it'll be hot.
"Come on Nathan's here!" Adele yelled from downstairs.

"Coming!" I yelled back grabbing my bagpack. Adele has already took my suitcase down.

The ride to the airport was quiet but in a awkward kind of way more in a goodbye kind of way. I can count on Nathan to take care of Adele they've known each other since they were babies. Questions were still filling my brain. What if? What if? What if?

We arrived at the airport , it was the moment I've been avoiding. Saying bye. But I won't cry, I've cried enough in my life already. Nathan took my suitcases out of the car and opened his arms pulling me in a huge hug.

"Don't make mistakes and don't let anyone treat you wrong" he whispered.

"Take care of yourself and of Adele big bro" I whispered holding back tears, don't cry De.

We pulled back and Adele immediately hugged me almost choking me.

"Promise me you'll call" she cried.

"I promise, I love you" I whispered.

"I love you too"

We hardly pulled back and after exchanging smiles and goodbyes I turned around walking to the gates of the airport but when I looked back what I saw broke my heart. Adele was crying in Nathan's arms. I tear fell down my cheek but I brushed it off and kept walking waving at my brother. They knew, they knew I won't come back, they knew I was now going to live my life without them.

*8 hours later*

All of these emotions made me tired so I slept the whole flight listening to music. When I arrived in LAX I felt so jet lagged. It was so sunny. I picked my suitcases up and started looking around when I spotted Liam. Weirdly no one seemed to care at all, but he was wearing a hat and glasses so. He had changed physically of course I saw him on tv but in real it's more shocking I guess but I admit he's handsome. I walked towards him and realize that I was running, I think he thought that I was some fan spotting me so he took a step back making me chuckle.

I slowed my pace and then recognized me, he's face lit up and he gave me a huge hug. Wow he's muscles were toned.

"I didn't recognize you, you changed so much" he smiled.

"You did too" I giggled.

"Come on let's go to our new house and meet the boys" he said taking 2 of my suitcases. He felt that I was nervous and said " don't worry love they'll love you" I immediately relaxed at his words.
