It’s been five years since the world famous boy band One Direction performed together for the last time. The end of an era, every news article called it. Every teen girl was devastated, but the boys were ready to move on; it was time they go their separate ways.

Now, for the first time since their last performance, the boys are back together again. No, not for a reunion concert or an anniversary get together, but for the funeral for one of their very own, Louis Tomlinson.

It’s a sad day when the boys are forced together under such circumstances, but Harry Styles, now the owner of a prestigious record label, can’t seem to focus on the matter at hand. While the other three are mourning the loss of their old bandmate and catching up after years of doing their own thing, Harry is only focused on one person.

Dahlia Evans.

He’d given her the nickname The Forbidden Fruit five years ago when he first laid his eyes on her. Harry knew Dahlia was off limits, but that didn’t stop him from wishing she was his in the first place.


Dahlia had been dating Louis Tomlinson since they met in Spain the summer of 2010. Louis had been there with his band, competing on the X Factor while Dahlia was vacationing with her parents in the city. She had been like a sister to the other bandmates while she visited Louis when they were on tour, but never did she think she’d see them again after the band broke up. Especially Harry.

Now, five years later, as she sits in the back of the church during the funeral service for her late boyfriend, she isn’t oblivious to the looks he continues to send her way.

But she is oblivious to the way he feels about her, and the fact that he never stopped thinking about her either.
