Niall's POV
Clary and I are laying around, well I'm massaging Clary's feet. She moans and I just chuckle. She is a week overdue. So she's a bit cranky at our daughter right now. Then she gasps. "Did she kick again? Must've been a hard one…good though…means she'll be good at football."
"Niall get the fucking car." I stand up and gape at her. She slowly sits up and holds her belly.
"NIALL THE CAR!" I jump and run finding the bag and keys.
"Okay! C'mon let's go…oh my god this is happening…oh my gosh…I'll go unlock the car." Cosmo slowly walks by Clary the whole way while I run out to the car. I run up to help Clary into the car. I look and see Cosmo watching us drive away. Next time we will have a little girl with us. Clary groans and I hit the gas. I speed the whole way there.

I get to the hospital and run in, yelling "BABY!" Then I run out to help Clary out of the car. Dr. McKenzie comes down with a wheelchair. She smiles and Clary sits down. We get to a room…this is where we wait for the contractions to get a certain time apart. I call up everyone, her mom and grandma, my whole family, then the gang. Clary screams and I run back in. She relaxes…that sounded awful. "Hey do you need anything water--"
"I need you to shut up! God your voice is so annoying!" I snap my mouth shut and just sit down next to her. Minutes passed then she spoke up again.
"Niall…I'm sorry I didn't mean it…you have a lovely voice…hold my hand?" I do and then she asks me to sing for her. Great…

Over the course of the song, she had like 2 contractions…and I thought she was going to rip my hand off. I go out for a bit to talk to our guests. We had like a whole little wing to ourselves. "Hey how is she?" I look at my dad and shrug.
"I mean she's not close to pushing and she's like bipolar a bit…I think she'll break my hand soon." He laughs and slaps my back.
"Your mom was like that too. Something about birth…just be there for her that's all." I nod then Nicole asks to go in. I let her. I grab a bottle of water for me and Clary. Nicole comes out and walks over to Liam, "If you think I am going through that then you are on drugs." I chuckle the go back in. The doctor is in there.
"Just a few more minutes hopefully…you're doing great."
"JUST GET HER FUCKING OUT OF ME!! MY VAGINA IS NOT A PERMANENT DWELLING!" I stand there with the door still open, so I know they all heard my lovely wife screaming at the doctor. I go over and Clary grabs my hand.
"Water babe?" She nods then I give her some sips. Another contraction comes and I yelp because holy shit my hand. I smile through the pain because I'm sure Clary is hurting more than me. She lets go and takes deep breaths. After like 3 contractions practically in a row the doctor comes back, "Alright it's time to push Clarissa."

"Okay baby…you've got this…I'm here fo--" I was cut off because Clary grabbed my shirt, and some chest hair. She was screaming and pushing and I was fairly certain she ripped off my chest hair. After that push she fell back and released her grip. Oh ow…that hurt. "Okay again Clarissa." Clary nods then pushes again.

Finally Clary was done, and our daughter comes out wailing. They clean her off and wrap her up. Clary instantly reaches out for her and she moves over so I can sit down. "Hi Arabella…she's amazing…look at what we made…" Clary nods, she has tears tumbling down her face. I kiss her head then let our beautiful little girl hold my finger. "She's very healthy…I'll let you two have some time with her…I'll let some people in a bit later." I nod but don't even look at the doctor.

"She has your eyes Clary…" Clary still hasn't stopped crying. I feel her lean into my shoulder.
"I love you Niall…I love her…I wouldn't dream of changing my life…look at her…she's so perfect. My little princess…" I smile and then our families come in. My mom holds her first and then her mom does. Theo wants to see her. So my mom bends down to show him. "That came out of Auntie Clary?" We all laugh and tell him her name.
"Hi Arabella-la." Clary smiles then yawns. The doctor shoos them out.

The next day Clary is free to go. I have Arabella in my arms, cooing at her. "Ready to see Mommy? Yea…she's misses you…Ready to go home princess?" Clary comes out and I smile, Arabella just keeps looking at me. I smile down at her, she's holding my finger in her little hand. God she's too cute, then she spots Clary and I hand her over. Clary smiles and kisses her head. "Hi cutie…did Daddy treat you good? Yea he's nice isn't he? Ready to go home?" We head out and drive home. We get there and all of our friends are there. Cosmo comes running over, skidding to a stop when he spots Arabella in Clary's arms. I hold my breath because I know this is a crucial moment. Clary squats down and Cosmo sniffs Arabella, whose whole face scrunches up. Then Cosmo licks her, Arabella then screams and cries. Cosmo jumps back and lays down with his ears back. "Aw…she didn't mean it baby boy…She'll love you soon enough." Clary smiles and pets him before heading into the living room. I pet my old friend then head to our celebration. Nicole holds Arabella, smiling down at her. Nicole is her godmother, while Greg is the godfather. Perrie and Zayn have Xander with them. I go by Perrie. "It's still a no…"
"Oh Niall loosen up…it would be so cute…" I roll my eyes then Harry and Penny come over to talk. I smile and look up to find Clary asking for Arabella back.

Clary's POV
Honestly I couldn't go more than like 15 minutes without her in my arms. So Nicole was pressing it. "Come on…she's not your baby." Nicole rolls her eyes but gives her back. I smile and she squeals. "Hi…yea Mommy's back…Aunt Nicole was being mean."
"Hey! Don't tell her that! I'm going to be the cool aunt." I laugh than let Penny and Harry look at her. Liam asks to hold her and I reluctantly agree. I know she's going to need to be fed soon. Good thing I pumped at the hospital. I go and get some from the fridge, then heat it up. I come back out to see Niall holding her, oh thank god. I come over and hand him the bottle. He looks at me then smiles. He sits down and feeds her. I talk with Nicole some more about the wedding with the other girls. "So I was thinking we could do the fitting tomorrow? The wedding is in two weeks." I nod, kind of dreading the fitting…I know I'm a bit bigger since the birth.

Soon everyone is leaving and I promise to see the girls tomorrow. Niall comes over and hugs my waist. He plants a kiss on my neck. "You know…now that you're no longer pregnant…" I laugh but shake my head.
"Keep it in your pants Horan." He sighs but doesn't push me. We go up and I head to my studio…my paintings have really been neglected since the pregnancy. I look at one that I started and get to it. I'm painting, when I hear Arabella scream. I immediately put my stuff down and run to her room. "Shh shh…Mommy's busy…c'mon princess stop crying." I see Niall rocking Arabella around trying to calm her down. He looks up and sees me.
"Clary I got this…go back to painting…I know you miss it. I can take care of Arabella." I nod then go back to my painting. Soon there's a knock and I turn around wiping my face. I feel the paint spread, I always do that.
"She's asleep again…you finished up? It's getting late…and who knows how much sleep we might get." I nod then look at my painting.
"Just give me 30 more minutes then I'll be up…have you seen Cosmo?" Niall laughs then points over his shoulder.
"Yea he's being Arabella's guard dog. He's asleep right next to her crib." I smile then he comes in and watches me. I keep on painting while he watches. I try to not focus on his intense gaze. I look at my finished painting. I smile then turn to see Niall biting his lip, his eyes trail down my body. I clear my throat, his eyes flick to mine. "You look like you could use a shower…let's go baby." He takes my hand and we softly ascend the stairs to our room.
"Niall…do you think…that I'm pretty still?" He sighs and looks at me.
"Of course you're pretty…you'll always be pretty to me…even when we are both old and grey. I will still think you are the most beautiful thing I have ever laid eyes on." Well then. I smile and go shower. When I get out, I climb into bed. Niall rolls over so he's on top of me. He kisses my neck whispering between kisses, "Your eyes remind me of the woods we loved to stay in, your smile makes me feel at home, your laugh is the sweetest sound to my ears, your hair reminds me of fire because you are like fire, beautiful but dangerous sometimes, your touch gives me shivers, your lips are my favorite flavor, you are everything to me. I love you." I crash our lips together, wrapping my legs around his hips. His hands find their way up my shirt. He rocks into me and I let him take off my shirt, he leans down kissing each breast. Then…Arabella cries out over the baby monitor. Niall groans and rolls off of me. I kiss him quick then throw my shirt back on, heading down. Cosmo is up and whining at Arabella. "I know boy…I'm here." I pick her up and rock her back and forth. I change her diaper then feed her some. She's still bawling after that though. So I sit down in the rocking chair. I decide to sing her a lullaby.

Hush, little baby, don't say a word.
Papa's gonna buy you a mockingbird

And if that mockingbird won't sing,
Papa's gonna buy you a diamond ring

And if that diamond ring turns brass,

She quiets down and I put her back into the crib, stepping over her guard dog on my way out. I get up to see Niall waiting for me. "She's asleep?"
"Yea…finally I was down there for an hour…I'm so tired." He nods then opens his arms, I willingly cuddle into him. He sings me to sleep. Next time he can go soothe our daughter. I sigh curling into him more, his arms will forever be home for me.

Now...I want to know if I should post my new story right after I finish updating this one...or if I should wait a bit...Not quite sure...The next updates might now be until after the holidays though...unless you guys can persuade me otherwise. I don't like this silence...I LOOOVE comments and there have been none for like weeks it feels like. C'mon guys...talk to me! :'(
