Finally Lilly comes down and apologizes for the bitch nurse. She holds it together and lead Nicole and Penny up. My family follow too. We get up to my floor and my family sits down in their spots in the waiting room. Nana gets up, walking over to Nicole and Penny, "One nurse says she can hear you…so talk to her about anything. Stay clear of sensitive subjects. She's been waiting for you I think." Nicole looks sick and new tears fall from Penny's eyes. Great way to go Nana. Nicole smiles then opens the door gently as if not to disturb me or my mom. I look over at her. I'm in my chair again. The one right between me and my mom. She actually looks a lot better than earlier today. While I look still as pale as snow. Nicole whimpers and Penny turns away. Lilly comes in and closes the curtain. "I'm glad you guys are here…here's some privacy…" They just nod and Lilly leaves them. Nicole sits down and I roll under the curtain to see them. I sit on the window sill. Nicole speaks up and Penny left to go outside and sob some more I think.
"Hey Clary Berry. You know this would be a killer Halloween costume. Very impressive I have to say. They say your mom is going to live, full recovery. So that's good to hear. I'm sure she knows you're going to be waiting for her. You know this is the first time since we've known each other that you haven't made some wise ass remark to me. Its nice. You're always so nice to me. It’s a long list of nice things you've done for me. So thanks. For everything ya know? Oh I didn't tell you…in my sequel. I'm making a character based off of you! She drove all the way back to see you. It was a long drive. But she didn't want to stay away. You know how she gets…I think she learned that from you. You have always been a bad seed. Her cheeks were tear stained. She sits down where Nicole was moments ago. I've only known Penny for a year but we became really close.
"Penny this is Clarissa Wolf! She interns with me at Radio One…and she's looking for a place to stay…I know you have an extra room." Penny looks me up and down. Then looks back at Ryan. I like Ryan…I trust that he's a good judge of character. Also I don't think a teacher would be a serial killer.
"Hello, nice to meet you. I guess I can give you a tour of the place. Shoo Ryan. You don't need a tour." She pushes Ryan back and gestures me to follow her in so I do. The place is nice. Updated. She shows me what would be my room. Its currently empty with white walls, a clean slate. I like this place. Its cute and charming. "Its not super big but hey its home." She smiles, I instantly like her. She seems like a great person and a good roomie. "Its really nice. Better than most places I've seen. How much would I have to pay?" She tells me that details and everything. Then we just spent hours talking. It was about 10pm when I left. "See ya tomorrow for move-in day! I'm excited. I'll tell Lonnie to get an extra key and add you to the rent contract." I smile and nod, waving goodbye while I head down the stairs. I get outside. Penny didn't have a car but there was a spot for mine. I drive back to the hotel and fall asleep.
"Hey Roomie…man that seems like ages ago. You know when I first saw you with Ryan I was so jealous. God you are so pretty. Ha now look at us. Off with celebrities. I'm so glad I let you into my life. Now your name is still on the contract and I don't want to have to take it off. Your key was probably destroyed but I can get you a new one easy peasy. Plus we have a tour to go on. And I do not plan on going alone. I've always wondered if ICU was as scary as the movies. But its not…it's pretty nice actually. Lilly is taking swell care of you. She's on her like 10th hour here. But hey you are in good hands, and your mom is right next to you watching over. Plus your family is out there. Sorry it took us so long to get here but I am here. So that's what counts. I just need to say one thing to you. Then I'll let you rest. Its been a very taxing day for you. Defy the odds…you've always been good at that. Remember when that guy said you couldn't run across the park in 2 minutes and you did it in a minute and 50 seconds. That was good. Don't just defy, cream the odds. I love you like a sister you know. And I would die for you. I would honestly. I know this won't be an easy recovery but I'll be with you every step of the way. I promise. Now its your turn, promise me I'll see you still here tomorrow morning. Can you do that for me Clarissa? Oh I already called dibs on Gracie. So she will be in good hands. Now you rest up. See you tomorrow Roomie." She gets up slowly, squeezing my hand and kissing my forehead. She draws the curtain back. "There so you can see your mom." She smiles and head out of the room. I sit there. I look at my mom then out at my group of people. Then back to me. The young nurse comes in and check my vitals and my mom's then leaves again. I stay on the window sill looking out. You can see the parking lot from here. So I see people leaving, heading home. That's when I realized I don't know when I'll be able to get back home. Well first I need to figure out how the hell to get back into my body. Because I am not about to leave my mom. What if I just lay on top of myself will that work? God I feel tired but Niall still hasn't shown up. Where is he? London is far away and Penny is from Liverpool which isn't too far from Dublin, so that makes sense why she got here quickly. And maybe Nicole was closer since Liam took her somewhere for Valentine's day. I continue to look out the window. I was happy they both were here though. It really meant a lot to me. I look over at my mom from where I sit perched. She looked like an angel. She really did. I love her so much. Will she be mad if I don't make it? I look at my broken shell of a body. Hmm I wonder. I get up and touch my body. I don't feel any pull to rejoin it. What if I lay in a coma for the rest of my life. I try to line up my arm with its real world counter part but nothing happens. I huff and sit back down on my perch. I see the faint glow of a lightpost just flickering, trying not to die, much like me.

I'm all moved into my apartment. Eliza and I have our room all decorated. Cardboard cutouts all up and looking hot. Today was the first day of classes but my one class for today got cancelled so I was super happy.
