Double trouble
Chapter 23
Brooklyn's POV
Harry rushed me home on the back highway. It was a bumpy road so it gave me a little headache. We finally got into town where told Harry where to go from there. All the house lights were turned off, except for Niall's. He parked right in front and we got out.
"Are you sure that you're going to be okay?" I said to Harry.
"Yeah, I'll call a cab, it'll be fine." He said.
"Okay, well, if you don't find one, you're welcome to stay here." I got nervous.
"I'll be fine Brooklyn. I promise.." He hugged me. He was going to be okay, unlike Emma.. I still don't know what happened.
"Okay, you have my number..?"
"Yes." He said.
"Okay, see you soon I guess."
"See you soon." He walked along the road as I knocked on the door. Niall answered, Emma was right behind him.
"Brooklyn! You're here!" Emma said.
"Yes, right here, in the flesh." I said.
"Our flesh." She joked.
"Come in." Niall said. I walked in and took off my shoes. I hung the sweaty keys up on the rack. He guided me to the couch.
"W-what's wrong?" I said.
"M-jfnfmdd!!! " Niall covered Emma's mouth.
"What?" I was on the edge of my seat.
"Well, it'd be better if you just watched." He gave me the remote and I pressed "PLAY".
**Beginning of broadcast**
"Hi, Liza Fisher here, reporting with some breaking news. 55 year old Anne Hughes has died in her home. Police got a call at 9:30am this morning from the next door neighbour. He was checking up on her, and found her dead, on the floor. Police searched the house to find, a knife, a note and some unknown fingerprints. They are going further into this investigation. We caught up with some of the neighbours and relatives to interview them. "
Sam: "Well, last time I saw her was when her daughters were packing to leave, they never came back.. The other day her husband walked out of the door, he never came back."
Robin:" *sniff* She was my best friend, I just *sniff* can't believe she's gone.. Her.. Husband.. He was soo abusive to one of their daughters.. She told me. "
Colin: "I was good friends with her husband, he was a nice guy, he called ,e telling that he left the house. Never heard of him since.
It is confirmed that her husband left the house. Where did he go? The police are doing an instant search of him on the run. We'll be doing an update on this case real soon. This was Liza fisher, reporting from London news.

Brooklyn's POV
I turned off the TV and placed the remote down. My eyes started drawing in tears.
"So, that's it." I said.
"Mom's dead!" Emma said. She was sobbing as well.
"Girls, I'm so sorry." Niall said.
"Emma," I said.
"What?" She said.
"I know who killed mom."
"Who?" They both said.
"It's dad, dad killed mom."
