Cardio

Savannah's POV:
'Hey, I'm in front of your house' I told him on the phone. I turned around and the door opened.'Savannahhhh!' Liam screamed. 'Heyyy' we met each other half way for a hug. 'Come in love' he gestured me inside the massive bachelor pad.



I walked in and looked up at the high ceiling and around the spacious place. 'By the way this is Danielle my girlfriend and this is Eleanor Louis' girlfriend' Liam introduced the two girls at the dining table. 'Nice to finally meet you, call me Dani' the curly haired girl hugged me. 'And you can call me El' the other girl gave me a hug. 'Boys, lunch time' Liam yelled.

I looked up to the stairs and saw three boys running down. They change to a walking pace as they neared the table. 'You must be Savannah, I'm Louis' the brown haired boy put out his hand for me to shake. 'I'm Niall' the blonde one gave me a wave. 'And I'm Zayn' the last one shook my hand. 'Let's eat' Liam said and everyone took a seat around the table. 'Where's Harry?' Zayn asked. 'I dunno but his definitely missing out on food' Niall began to reach across the table for food. 'So Savannah Liam talks about you a lot. I feel like I already know you' Louis said to me across the table. 'Oh, well I have to admit, I don't know anything about you guys. Beside the fact that your a band called One Direction' I confessed. 'Girl, where have you been the last 2 years' Eleanor chuckled. 'She's been in the hospital, saving lives' Liam spoke for me. 'Your a doctor?' Niall said in shock. ' An Attending Cardiovascular thoracic surgeon' again Liam answered for me. 'Cardiovas-what?' everyone called out in confusion. 'Cardio-vascular -tho-ra-cic surgeon' Liam broke it down for them.

Harry's POV:
When I got to the bachelor pad everyone was already having lunch. 'Harry' the boys waved at me when I entered the dining. 'Harold, I want you to meet Liam's friend Ms. Savannah' he motioned his hand to the girl who had her back to me because of the seating arrangement.'Hey, that's my job to introduce her' Liam whined. The girl turned around to reveal herself. I think my heart just skipped a beat as my eyes was stunned by Aphrodite's beauty. Anything else I say about her beauty will sound so cliché, so I honoured her with my silence.....And maybe the silence was a little too long.

'Umm Harry' Liam waved his hand in front of my face. I shook my head slightly and brought my self back to reality. 'Hi, nice to meet you' I nearly stuttered. 'She's a card- what is it again?' Louis creased his eyebrows. 'Cardiovascular thoracic surgeon' everyone reminded him. 'Wow' my eyes widened at the lengthy word. 'I don't know what that is, but it sounds fascinating' I chuckled.

After lunch the boys decided to put Fifa on to play while El and Dani took Savannah out the backyard. 'So Liam, how long have you known her?' I asked him as we sat on the coach. 'Harry, haven't you been listening to anything Liam's been saying for the last 12 months' Louis interrupted as he played on the controller. 'Can you repeat it again, please?' I smiled at him. Louis was right, Liam has been talking about Savannah a lot but I never really paid attention. To me she was just Liam's close friend who I thought I would never meet.

But now I've met her. And I need to know everything about her.

Liam told me as much as he knew. But because they haven't seen each other for years there was a lot of questions he didn't know how to answer. So I decided to go and get the answers myself.

'Hey, Harry. Oh good your here. Keep Savannah company El and I are going to make some dessert' Dani and El began to get up from the couch we had at the alfresco. I took a seat next to her when the girls left. 'So what exactly is a cardiovascular thora-' I struggled to pronounce the last word. She let out a small laugh. 'Thoracic. Cardiovascular thoracic' she chuckled. 'Yup that' I said not even attempting to repeat the word.

'I'm a surgeon that specialises in Cardiology.Cardiovascular surgery involves the heart and blood vessels and thoracic surgery involves the lungs. So I operate specifically within those range but I'm also qualified for general surgery and birth delivery' Savannah explained. 'Oh WOW, well I'm a singer in a boy band' I said in simple terms as there was no other way to describe it. 'I like your laugh' I told her as she laughed softy. 'Umm thanks' she bit her lips and looked down.

'So what's keeping you guys busy lately?' she asked. 'Actually, we just finished our world tour. So we're on break at the moment..well kinda. We're about to release our new album at the end of the month, so I guess will be doing promotions when that happens' I responded. 'So I guess you guys are always busy then, kinda like me' she replied. 'Which hospital do you work at again?' I asked.

Be-beep...Be-beep she took out a black electronic device. 'What's that?' I asked 'It's my pager. I'm sorry have to go. It was nice to meet you.. Harry' she flashed me a smile before getting up in a hurry to leave.
