The Story of my Life

Christmas is tomorrow YAY! No, not really, I’m just not feeling it this year and I don’t know why. I mean I should be happy I’m going to get a lot of gifts and my grandparents and uncle are coming over but I just can’t help but feel sad and lonely. So, yesterday I read a fanfic about a girl getting bullied and it made me think that my problems are tiny and pretty compared to hers. It also made me think how lucky to go to school where bulling doesn’t happen and no one makes fun of people for what they wear because we all wear the same thing. I just really put things in perspective for me. The other day my mom pulled out this paper of what my name means, but the thing that made it so interesting was that it described me. It said that people with the name Cassandra were strong and independent who liked to be the one in charge. And I do, but sometimes I wonder if that’s why people don’t like me, because I’m to ‘bossy’. And ya some times I am, it’s not my fault I was born that way. So my favorite quote today is; ‘Family isn’t always blood. It’s the people in your life who want you in theirs; who except you for who you are. The ones who would do anything to see you smile and who love you no matter what’. I choose this quote today because it reminds me that blood doesn’t equal family. It reminds me that there is always someone out there who cares about me and loves me for who I am. Who believes in me even when I don’t and loves me unconditionally.
