No Remorse

Two

My ears had adjusted to the blast of the music, but my eyes had yet to adjust to little amount of light as I consistently bumped into the shadows around me. Most hardly taking notice while they busied themselves onto one another to the beat.

"I swear he was just here!" Bonnie yelled over the music.

Her eyes fixed on me for a response, but I only shrugged. Unsure of what he'd looked like, only to know his name as Harry.

My hand was snatched with hers, taking me escort to a quieter part of the large room. Eventually only realizing she wanted to speak at a more proper volume. "I'm gonna worn you now, though. He has temper. But he's not that bad, good guy when you know him. Just don't comment on his appearance and we're good, yeah?" Her anxious smile appeared growing across her face.

The thoughts of him abusing another traced my mind, questioning what Bonnie had meant by his anger and appearance. Occasionally creating stories as if he were fictional, nothing but a mere children's scare.

"Bonnie," the familiar husk called from only feet away.

My eyes quickly meeting to his lustful eyes fixed on my friend, taking his bottom lip by his upper row of teeth. It was then I knew what she had meant by his appearance, the tattoos that gratified from under his white fitting tee.

"Harry," her smile widening with his presence.

I continued to stare in awe at the familiar figure in front of me. Not caring if he'd notice or not, as I curiously watched him strip my friend with his eyes.

"You should take a photo, love. It'll last longer." My heart had skipped when his gaze flicked to mine. My sudden courage to fight back, dropping to the pit of my stomach.

Bonnie watched intently as our staring contest played out until I had called quits with the uncomfortable feeling of his glare.

"You're the boxing girl, the one at the gym." A sly smirk growing at the corners, mentioning me without hesitation or doubt.

"You've met?" Bonnie intervened.

I nodded merely at her, before my shoes stole my interest.

"Right," she exhaled. "Well, I need a drink."

My eyes had shot up like an owl, my heart rate increasing with the thought of being left alone with the known to be tempered boy. I questioned how she could be so relaxed around a local criminal.

"I'll be back, don't worry." Her assurance following her to the other end of the room.

I glanced quickly at the taller boy, whom seen my slight fit. The same famous smirk still growing proudly, as I oh so badly wanted to wipe it from his face with the palm of my hand.

"So tell me," he spoke slowly. "Why is it, I have seen you now three times, and I still don't know your name?"

I shrugged slightly, unsure of how to answer without sounding idiotic. Suddenly feeling self conscious under his watch.

He only chuckled, moving closer as I visibly stiffened. He was enjoying this.

"Is someone shy, or perhaps hiding a blush?" Cheekily, he asked. Only for me to reply with a scoff, folding my arms in protest.

"In your dreams," my lips moving before my brain.

"There it is!" The cheer in his voice evident.

"There's what?" I again snapped, bravely looking up fitting my best glare.

I watched him duck to my level, boldly moving in closer, pressing soft lips to me ear. My heart again beating from my chest. "That feisty fire." He whispered smugly, lingering for a few seconds longer before pulling away.

Bonnie's familiar head of curls appeared, missing the entire scene causing me to mentally scoff. "Bonnie, I'm gonna head home. I forgot I had stuff to do tomorrow, so I'll call you sometime this week, maybe." I tried explaining as casually as possible.

Harry made a slight noise in amusement, knowing the real reason to my anxious state to leave. Bonnie, taking no notice, she smiled slightly in disappointment before nodding.

"Talk to you later, kiddo." She waved, as I returned the same. Not giving Harry the chance of day for another word.

Quickly, I moved around the crowd before pushing through the front door and escaping to the sidewalk, hearing the music continue to blare outside as well.

Notes

Heyo! Second chapter! I don't typically enjoy updating on weeknights just so everyone knows, I enjoy mainly weekends. But I have exams right now, so it's a stressful time. I'm going to try and update this story a lot more than my other one! I might not even be continuing with it, but anyway!

Thanks for reading, and comment what you think of this chapter! I'd love to read what you's have to say!
