Apocalyptic Love

Ed’s POV

By now Harry had calmed Lia down and she was wiping her final tears.

“Are you alright?” I asked quietly. She just nodded. I looked over at Harry. He just gave me a look that said ‘Don’t ask’.

“Anyway we need to get out of here. I don’t want the boys to give her up They can’t.” Lia said quietly.

“Who’s she?” I asked.

“You know the little girl I was telling you about? Yeah well the guys have to give her to these people if they want us.” She said just barely above a whisper.

“Oh.” I said simply. I couldn’t think of anything else. What was I supposed to say?

Louis’ POV

“What is this magical plan you speak of?” Zayn asked me, sarcastically.

“Well I was thinking-“ But I was cut off by the walkie talkie.

“You kids got an hour to bring us the kid and your supplies or all three of them die.” And the message was over.

“Three?” Niall said.

“Three?” Liam said.

“Maybe they have someone with Harry and Lia. Either way I’m not going to let any of them die. Like I said the plan id that Zayn and Niall are going to break in. It sounded like there’s only a couple of guys in there so it shouldn’t be that hard for you guys. Then while they’re distracted I’m going to run in and start driving. I can see the engine is already running from here so that means the keys are in the ignition. Liam you’ll be holding Kylie and our supplies and watch me through the window. Niall and Zayn will tell me when it’s clear and I’ll give you a signal. Then you hop in and we’ll go. Got it?” I explained.

“Got it.” Said Niall.

“Got it.” Said Zayn.”

“Got it.” Said Liam.

“Okay lets go.” I said.

We all hopped out of the car, Zayn holding his bow and arrow and Niall holding a gun he grabbed. Liam headed to the trunk, took a big suitcase and stuffed as much stuff as he could in it. The only thing he couldn’t manage to get in there were the pillows. Other than that everything was there.

Liam and I both had handguns just in case. We all jogged to the R.V. and Zayn and Niall opened the doors.

Harry’s POV

All of a sudden there was a huge noise and then a gunshot.

“Get down!” Ed yelled. We all dropped to our knees and covered our heads with our hands. Pain filled my body and I quickly glanced up to look at Lia. Her eyes were filled with fear and I could see tears forming in the corners. Bam Bam Bam! Three more gunshots.

I scooted next to her and Ed and covered her with my body. She was crying now. There was still a million noises going on outside and then a yell.

“I just want it to be over.” Lia whispered to me.

“Don’t worry. I’ll protect you.” I whispered back. Before I could even think the works fell out of my mouth. “I love you.”

Without hesitation she responded. “I love you too Harry.”

I wrapped my arms around her and held on hard. No one was going to touch her.

Two more gunshots. Then silence. Then footsteps coming towards the door. I held her closer. Three two one, the doorknob was turning I squeezed my eyes shut.

“Harry! Lia!” Someone yelled. I looked up and saw Zayn. I jumped up and so did Lia. We both hugged him tightly.

“Thank you so much man.” I said to Zayn.

“Did you think we were just going to leave you?” He said.

“Lia are you alright?” Zayn asked. She nodded.

“Guys who’s this?” Zayn asked pointing to Ed, who was now on his feet.

“This is Ed. Those guys took him too. We found him tied to the bed.” I explained. Zayn walked up to Ed and shook his hand.

“Nice to meet you my name’s Zayn.” Zayn said.

“Nice to meet you as you already know my name’s Ed.” He said.

“Let’s go meet the other guys.” I said to Ed. All four of us walked out and I saw Liam and Kylie sitting in the passenger seat while Louis was driving. Niall had the two guys tied up with bandanas over their mouths.

Lia hugged Niall and I did the same.

“Thanks man.” I said.

“No problem.” He said smiling.

“This is Ed.” Lia said. “Those guys,” Lia pointed with her feet “took him too.”

“Pleasure to meet ya Ed.” Niall said.

“The pleasure’s all mine.” He said smiling.

“Harry would you stay here for a minute?” Zayn said.

“Sure.”

Lia’s POV

While Niall, Zayn, and Harry staye and talked I walked with Ed to the front to meet Liam and Louis.

“Louis, Liam, Kylie this is Ed.” I said.

“Lia!” Liam yelled, hopping up, setting Kylie down. He wrapped me in his arms and hugged me.

“Thanks guys. For coming.” I said.

“Did you think we would leave you?” Liam said.

“I don’t know. Anyways this is Ed.”

“Oh yeah sorry. Hello Ed. I’m Liam. Nice to meet you.”

“Hello. Pleasure to meet you.” He said while they shook hands. Louis looked up in the rearview mirror.

“I would shake your hand Ed but I’m driving. I’m Louis.”

“Nice to meet you.”

“Seems you’re now part of the family Ed. Welcome.” Liam said smiling. Ed smiled.

“It’s been a while since I’ve been in a family.” He said sadly.

Welcome to the club, I thought.
