Secret Sanctuary...

*Sadee's Pov*

Dawson smirked at my comment, "well i'll see you all at lunch, later." he smiled to the others waving as he left.

"you two are such flirts,"gabby giggled.

"why of course, if we weren't life wouldn't be fun." i added. i heard harry let out a breath. "and whats up with you?"

"nothing." he smiled lightly before class finally started.

"who want's to eat in the cafeteria?" i asked sarcastically as i approached our normal table.

"well i believe there's no where better at the moment for our darling dame." gabby mocked.

"yes, yes, dr love must admit lunch would be better else where, but we must watch over the young naive children." dawson played along gesturing toward the boys.

"we're older than you." niall spouted first.

"ahh, but not by much." dawson countered pulling me into his lap. "i think that harry kid likes you," he whispered in my ear making me blush. not by choice but as a reaction.

*Harry's Pov*

her blush was spreading with each word left his lips, though i'd never know what they were.

"so harold," dawson pointed me out. making me raise an eyebrow at him. "i would only guess that you have a crush or liking for, my, or should i say our dear Sadee." he continued startling all of us. liam chuckled shaking his head while niall full on laughed.

"and the problem with that is" i countered trying to seem cooler than i felt.

"well, if you do take a liking for her, then you'll have to deal with all the others who are in line for her heart." he said easily.

"easy," i smirked winking at her. i saw her blush deepen with our words.

"why must our little darling grow up to be such a hot item?" gabby joked.

"i know, she keeps burning me. but i'm addicted to the sensation." dawson continued his hold on her waist tightening as he moved closer to her. god this guy was making my blood boil.

"too bad i'd never date you huh?" sadee smirked pushing him away slightly.

"yeah, though at least i'm your best friend." the conversation was getting better, though i had to sit through four boys asking her out, each one was rejected. which made me worried to ask her myself.

after school finally ended i walked with sadee down to the hotel.

"can i ask you something?" she started.

"anything,"

"why do you like me?" she asked startling me a little.

"i'm not sure exactly, but every word you say leaves me wanting to hear another. and every smile i receive makes me work harder to get the next. though it's always worth it. and even though i know what you'll say, i'll ask anyway..." i tried stopping to take a breath. "will you please go out with me, even if it's just dinner or a movie?" i asked nervously awaiting her responce.
