Secret Sanctuary...

the brass railings were slightly rusted, the grand staircase squeaked as harry followed sadee. some of the painted walls were chipping, the mirrors held decades of secrets. the only sound to be heard was their footsteps on the aged wooden floors.

"so where exactly are we going?" harry asked lightly, not wanting to ruin the peace that had settled over them.

"you wanted to see your rooms didn't you?" she replied not turning to look at him. harry didn't say anything else, choosing rather to watch her in her element. "here," she said shaking him back to reality. he followed her into the room, slowly raking his eyes over everything. taking in the large windows, brass bed, fading dresser, and the bathroom that connected to it.

"gorgeous isn't it?" he heard her coo from the doorway.

"not as gorgeous as you," he thought aloud, embarrassed he let it slip.

"thanks, i'm going back down to see how they're doing in the ballroom."

"i'll come. why did that guy call this place your sanctuary?" he finally asked.

"oh Dawson?" she asked, harry nodded as they descended the stairs together. he listened to the squeaking for a while until she spoke again. "Well, i've been coming here for years, it's relaxing. i like to work here, and since you boys bought the place i guess i can actually clean up my space more."

*Harry's Pov*

the way she spoke so lovingly of the place, made it seem more lovely. it didn't seem like much, but i didn't want to change a thing about the place if it made her happy.

"ok, here's the deal." i said lowly to the boys.

"so we can still change our rooms, but nowhere else?" zayn asked. i nodded, after showing them the rooms they seemed impressed. i knew they could tell something had to be behind my request, but i wasn't about to say.

"well, us three have to be at 'school' in the morning so lets get some sleep soon." liam said, clearly as pleased with the idea as we were. agreeing we readied for bed, though i couldn't get Sadee's words out of my head.

*Sadee's Pov*

i woke up to my alarm, reluctantly i pulled myself into the shower before dressing. i stuffed a few notebooks into my bag, searching for my phone before slipping out of my room and into the hall.

"get to class!" my mum called. i chuckled lightly, kissing her cheek before heading toward the door.

walking into the school i noticed alexis and gabby. "so hows sibling life?" i joked.

"perfect!" alexis sneered walking toward her class.

"what's wrong with lexis this time?" i asked, Gabby shrugged as we made our way to our homeroom class.

"well, pleasure seeing you here." niall said as we entered the classroom.

"isn't it?" Gabby joked smiling. i could easily see it was her flirty smile. god i was going to pester her about this. "i'm guessing your all in the same classes?" she asked.

"yep, can't go anywhere without these idiots." liam smirked at me.

"sorry." dawson's voice came from behind me. i looked up at him as he wrapped his arm around my shoulder.

"well hello, Dr. Love," me and gabby said in unison, as we always did.

"ahh my loyal nurses of pain, hows the other patients?" he added along. the boys gave us a strange look.

"im sorry to inform you that we have a serious case of boredom." gabby smiled lightly. normally she gave her flirty side only to dawson, but it seemed to have shifted so only niall got that attitude.

"tell me it's not so." he exaggerated making niall and liam slightly chuckle at gabby's giggle.

"yes dr. and i suggest we treat it with flirtation and jaw dropping hotness." i added getting a smirk from all the boys.

*Harry's pov*

"as you wish," dawson said. it worried me the way he seemed to flirt with Sadee. 'do i even have a chance?' i thought. dawson walked up to a blonde girl in the class and started chatting with her. Gabby and Sadee watched intently till a noise stole our attention. "Dr. love will save you of all ill thoughts, so please allow me knowledge only the female brain contains" dawson exclaimed to the blonde. she smacked him walking out of the room, red faced.

"and you're our quarterback." Sadee said shaking her head.

"oh you know you love me." he said pulling her to him.

"why of course." she answered, making my heart drop out of my chest.
