Making the road I pulled out my cell and was just about to call 911, when I realized what a mistake it would be. The man with the scar on his face would find me. Nine months of safety could come to an end if the police decided to question me. Just as I was thinking about going back, I looked up to see a payphone. Thank God for small miracles! I ran over and quickly dialed. ******* "Hello, 911, what is your emergency?" ****** "Hi, I just found a dog fighting ring on an alley just off ofWest Creek. I cant stick around. I saw some big man with a gun when I found it." ******* "Alright miss. Thankyou for calling this in. I will everything taken care of. You just need to get as far away as possible." She hung up a second later. Not needing any encouragement, I walked away as quickly as I could. The sound of police sirens bladed in the distance. But all I could think about were questions like : Why did Erin do it? Why cant. I avoid these types of situations? Why do the police make so much noise instead of catching the bad guy mid-swallow on his freakin beer? That way, he would start chocking and maybe less people would be hurt. I don't know.
