Everything was going perfectly. Until Erin started acting strangely. I didn't see him as often. Only yesterday, he took off to who knows where. When I talked to him about it, the look on his face was priceless. As in, no one would buy it. I was so confused but then I saw something that rocked my world. But it was solo not in a good way. ★★★★★ I was making my way home after practice when I decided to go and see Erin. Rounding the corner of a grease slicked wall, I caught sight of a group of teenagers. Not knowing that I was in trouble, I walked up and saw a man holding a gun. I ducked behind a dumpster and watched as my best friend in the whole world dragged a pit bull through a door in the wall. The howls of so many tortured beasts permeated the air. But the torture in my own heart caused by Erin screamed louder inside my mind.
