It had been a full week since Harry said he found the girl of his dreams and Georgie noticed that he came around less often and Grimmy was around a lot more. Georgie remembered the kiss and make out session that she shared with Grimmy and for once in her nineteen years she felt like something was coming out of this friendship that she would never expected. Today Grimmy was doing an interview with The Wanted and Georgie was running errands for Jon while he conducted the show. Georgie was getting some coffee for Jon and Grimmy when a voice spoke up she hadn’t heard in a week.

“Are you and Grimmy dating or something?” Harry’s voice asked her and she turned around shocked to find Harry standing in the kitchen of the office in clothes that looked like he had been wearing for three days straight.

“No,” Georgie said blushing because she had known that the two friends had been more intimate than best friends should be, “We’ve just been hanging out a lot more lately. How are things with Tammy? Have you changed your clothes lately?”

“She won’t leave me alone!” Harry exclaimed in frustration, “I’ve been at her flat for the past two days not being able to leave because she thinks we’re going to get married and she’s going to have my babies! She’s nutter Georgie! Absolutely nutter!”

Georgie laughed lightly and Harry huffed.

“This isn’t funny Georgie,” Harry whined and she just shook her head.

“Talk to her about it Haz,” she said, “I have an extra pair of men’s clothing in my desk drawer. Go grab them, I have to get back to the studio.”

Harry disappeared and then Georgie made her way back to the radio studio and handed Jon his coffee and then walked into the booth and gave Grimmy his coffee.

“Thanks love,” Grimmy said kissing her cheek, “Lunch after you get off today?”

“It’s a date,” Georgie smiled and walked back into the office and Jon and Delilah were giving her a ‘what the hell’ look and she shrugged her shoulders, “We’ve been hanging out a lot more.”

“Georgie. . .”Delilah started but she shook my head.

“He’s moved on and so should I,” she replied and then walked back to her desk to get some paperwork done.

When she was walking back to her cubical, she could hear Harry and Tammy fighting.

“I just need some space babe,” Harry said, “I’m not breaking up with you I’m just asking you to trust me.”

“You’re going to spend time with that slag Georgie aren’t you?” Tammy’s voice sneered, “You like her more than me don’t you? Just admit it Harry.”

“I never said that Tammy!” Harry said, “You have to believe me. What do you want me to do to get you to trust me?”

“Stop talking, texting, and hanging out with her,” Tammy said and Georgie’s eyes widened because she knew Harry would do it in a heartbeat no matter how close her and Harry had become.

“Alright,” Harry said, “But I will tell her. Go wait in the lobby.”

Georgie then booked it to her cubical and started looking busy.

“Georgie,” Harry’s voice said from the opening of her cubical and she looked up.

“What’s up buttercup?” she asked like she normally did.

“Um. . .I have something to tell you,” Harry said rubbing the back of his neck which meant he was nervous.

“I overheard the conversation,” Georgie said quietly, “I hope you and her are happy Hazza.”

“Georgie,” Harry said and she shook her head and looked over at Harry and smiled lightly.

“I’m serious Harry,” she said, “I’ll be okay. I wish you two nothing but happiness.”

“No,” Harry said, “I was going to say that I am not going to stop talking to you. We’re just going to have to do this very strategically. I still want you in my life.”

“What happens if she finds out?” Georgie asked a bit nervous.

“I’ll deal with that when I come to that,” he said, “But I want us to be friends. I like being your friend.”

“Okay,” she said still nervous.

“Alright,” he said, “I’ll text you later? We can meet maybe somewhere where I won’t get in trouble?”

“Sure,” Georgie said.

“Oh my beautiful best friend Georgia Mae!” Georgie and Harry heard Grimmy say.

“Cubical!” Georgie replied and Grimmy poked his head in and smiled widely at her.

“Ready to go to lunch love?” he asked and Georgie smiled and nodded her head.

Georgie missed the frown that adorned Harry’s face as she grabbed her jacket that she brought with her.

“Mind if Tammy and I join you?” Harry asked and Grimmy looked a bit shocked.

“Um. . .” Georgie started looking at Grimmy.

“I’m sorry Harry,” Grimmy said, “I wish you would’ve told me sooner. I invited The Wanted.”

“Oh,” Harry said and Georgie looked at Grimmy confused.

“They’re not eating with us Grimmy,” Georgie said, “They have another interview in this building. If you and Tammy want to join us you two are more than welcome to.”

Harry gave Georgie a small smile and then rushed out to go ask Tammy and Georgie gave Grimmy a pointed look.

“What the hell was that?” she asked as they headed out.

“I just thought that you would feel uncomfortable with eating lunch with Tammy and Harry,” Grimmy said throwing an arm over Georgie’s shoulders and she rolled her eyes.

“Always overprotective,” she replied, “but they’ll deny. Tammy will say she’s not feeling well or something.”

“Sure,” Grimmy said and Georgie just shrugged her shoulders.

When they walked into the main lobby of Radio 1, Harry gave Grimmy and Georgie small smiles while Tammy just glared at Georgie behind Harry.

“Tammy’s not feeling well so we’ll have a reign check?” Harry asked and Georgie nodded her head.

“Of course,” Georgie said as she felt Grimmy slip his hand in hers and laced their fingers.

“Well since we’re headed the same way mind if we share a lift?” Grimmy asked and Harry shook his head no.

“Cool,” Georgie smiled as they walked over to the elevator and pushed the button.

Grimmy pulled Georgie into his side and she leaned against him as he kissed her temple and she smiled up at him. Georgie had no idea why Grimmy was being really touchy but lately Georgie was getting weird feelings around Grimmy as well. Since they spent more time together and were a bit more intimate than best friends should be, Georgie was starting to think that Grimmy might actually like her as more than friends. The elevator opened and all four people stepped into the elevator.

“So are you two dating or something?” Tammy asked annoyingly after a few minutes of awkward silence.

Georgie’s eyes flashed over to Harry very quickly and she watched as his body tense and he looked down at the ground.

“Well I was going to ask her at lunch,” Grimmy answered annoyed and Georgie quickly looked up at Grimmy.

“What?” she asked quietly.

“Georgie I’ve known you for five years,” Grimmy said, “You have become one of my closest friends. I have watched you get hurt time and time again by lads who shouldn’t and don’t deserve you. Would you do me the honor of being my bird and letting me show you how you should be treated?”

Georgie’s eyes widened and she could feel Harry and Tammy looking over at her waiting for an answer. Georgie was completely and utterly shocked. She had no clue that Grimmy had looked at her like that. She always assumed he liked her as a younger sister since he was ten years older than her.

“Y-y-yes,” Georgie stuttered nervously and smiled lightly as Grimmy grinned widely.
He kissed her lips and Georgie kissed back and he rested his forehead against hers.

“I promise to show you how you should be treated,” he replied smiling, “And thank you for giving me a chance.”

Georgie smiled at Grimmy and the two completely forgot about Harry and Tammy until Tammy cleared her throat. Grimmy just smiled as Georgie blushed and hid her face in Grimmy’s shoulder.

“Sorry,” Georgie said as the elevator doors opened.

“Congrats mate,” Harry said and Georgie noticed something different in Harry’s voice but couldn’t tell what it was, “You’ve got a great girl.”

Before Georgie or Grimmy could say anything, Tammy and Harry left the elevator leaving Grimmy and Georgie completely confused at the change in Harry.
