“What?” Georgie asked laughing at how excited Harry looked as he was standing in her cubical at work.

“I found her!” he exclaimed, “I found the girl I met I was telling you about.”

“Oh,” Georgie said a sinking feeling showing up in her stomach.

“Yes!” he exclaimed.

Harry and Georgie had spent way more time together after their first date. They were inseparable and were always found hanging out. Harry introduced her to the boys and they absolutely loved her. The boys had found out who she really was the minute they met her and after much bribery she was able to keep the boys quiet about who she was. Everyone couldn’t understand why she never told Harry it was her but Georgie did not want to lose what she and Harry had. The friendship was undeniably strong and it was something that Georgie did not want to lose.

“Well where is she?” Georgie asked the brightly smiling boy in front of her.

“Harry babe?” Georgie heard the voice and her smile fell, she knew that voice.

“There you are love,” Harry said, “Georgie who would’ve known it was Tammy, right?”

Harry was smiling at Tammy while Tammy was just smirking triumphantly at Georgie.

“Who would’ve guessed,” Georgie said politely, “Did you crash that party Tammy? I heard it was invite only and really hard to get into.”

Harry looked at Georgie a bit shocked at the forward question but she watched him as he brushed it off.

“Oh no my uncle got me and my friend tickets,” she said, “He works with Simon pretty closely.”

“Oh well I’ll have to ask my uncle then,” Georgie responded smiling, “Him and Simon are co-owners of Syco but you probably already know that.”

“Oh yeah,” Tammy said her triumphant smile turning into a tight smile and Georgie gave a warm smile.

“Well I’m sorry but I have to go help Grimmy with his new recording for some new ad,” Georgie said, “Congrats to the both of you by the way. Treat him right Tammy he’s a great catch.”

She then rushed off before either could add their comments. She rushed to the personal bathroom that she had a key to and locked herself there as the tears started falling. She was too late. She was always too late to get the guy of her dreams. First it was Todd, the popular movie star, and now it was Harry Styles, a member of one of the hottest boybands around. She was trying to stop her tears when she heard a knock at the door and Grimmy’s voice on the other end.

“Love?” he asked, “Can I come in?”

Georgie opened the door and Grimmy frowned at the sight. She had mascara running down her face and she looked like a raccoon.

“I heard,” he said as he locked the door behind him.

“God I was dumb to keep it a secret this long,” Georgie sighed as she looked over at
Grimmy, “I should’ve just kept my mouth shut here and that tramp wouldn’t have overheard. I knew she was trouble when she was hired.”

“I know love,” Grimmy said pulling his dearest and closest friend into a hug, “How about we call it a day and go get something takeaway and then you come to mine and we watch those cheesy romance movies you love so much. I’ll even call Olivia to come over.”

“No,” Georgie said, “Don’t call Liv. She has a date with Niall tonight I don’t want to ruin that.”

“Alright love,” Grimmy said, “Come on let’s get go get some food. Chinese?”

“Yes please,” Georgie said and smiled lightly at her best friend, “Can we get alcohol too?”

“Of course lovey,” he said as he grabbed her hand and dragged her to her boss’ office.

“Grimmy,” she giggled as they got closer.

“Jon I’m taking Georgie with me,” Grimmy said, “We’re calling it a day.”

They then took off down the hallway to the elevator before Jon could respond.

“Take your heels off or I will throw you over my shoulder George,” Grimmy warned using the guy nickname that Georgie absolutely hated.

“You wouldn’t,” she said as Grimmy threw her over his should.

“Nick!” she squealed laughing and pounding on his back as they rushed past Harry and Tammy, “Put me down!”

“Never beautiful!” Grimmy grinned as the elevator doors shut and he set her down and Georgie playfully punched the boy in front of her.

“Jerk face,” she teased and Grimmy smiled at Georgie.

Georgie knew Grimmy was absolutely happy that he could take her mind off of Harry for the time being. Georgie knew that Grimmy understood how much she really liked Harry and she knew if he had to endure cheesy romance movies to make one of his best friends happy then he was going to do it. When the elevator got to the bottom floor they grabbed hands and made their way to Grimmy’s car since Georgie always took the tube.



Grimmy and Georgie had been watching movies for three hours and they had managed to drink two bottles of wine and Georgie was laying her head in his lap.

“Grimmy,” Georgie asked after making him watch Love Actually for like the thirtieth time that night.

“Yes love?” Grimmy asked looking down at the beautiful girl he called his best friend.

“Am I pretty?” she asked.

Grimmy then knew that Georgie was drunk. She always had pity parties when she was drunk and in a sad mood.

“You’re beautifully gorgeous Georgie,” Grimmy said smiling and rubbing a thumb over her cheek.

“You really think so?” she asked.

“I know so beautiful,” Grimmy replied and the next thing to happen threw him off guard but he enjoyed it.

Georgie pressed her lips against his and Grimmy immediately responded. He switched their position so Grimmy was on top and they continued their make out session. When they pulled apart to breathe Grimmy kissed every part of her face as she giggled.

“Georgie you are so beautiful and kind hearted don’t let anyone tell you differently okay?” Grimmy said.

“Okay,” she said and pecked his lips, “Can we get some sleep now? I’m drunk.”

“Of course love,” Grimmy said and tucked her into his bed, “I’ll call your uncle and let him know where you are.”

“Thanks Nick,” Georgie said smiling, “You really do know how to take my mind things off. I mean take my mind off things.”

Grimmy just smiled down at the Georgie and kissed her forehead.

“Get some sleep love,” he said and then walked out of his room and leaned against the wall after he shut the door.

Grimmy couldn’t explain how he was feeling but he was definitely feeling something new for his friend for the longest time and was excited that Harry had found the wrong girl for once in his life.
