Finding Georgia Rose

Chapter Six

Harry was confused as to where Georgie was taking him but he didn’t mind the walk. She made the walk fun and interesting. She was currently telling a story of how she got to meet some band called Boyce Avenue and how excited she was. Apparently her uncle knew she was a huge fan, which meant Harry was going to go home and look them up after their date. They were still holding hands and Harry was beaming at that fact.

“So how did you enjoy your day off?” Georgie asked him as they were now on some street that he had never been on.

“I did,” he smiled at the fact that she remembered him telling her that he had a small amount of time off from recording and doing different interviews, “I’m happy that have a month off.”

“Are you going to go back home?” she asked as Harry watched her face light up when she saw the line and truck.

“Yeah probably for a few days to visit my family and some friends,” Harry said, “It’ll be nice to be able to see my family again.”

Georgie just grinned at him which caused something to stir inside of him that he hadn’t felt before. She tugged on his arm and pulled him to the back of the line and dropped his hand. He was a bit upset but decided to start another conversation.

“So what is the truck called?” he asked.

“A Little Bit of Philly,” Georgie grinned, “The owners of this truck are from Philadelphia back in the states and make the best Philly Cheesesteak sandwiches I have ever had. You’re going to love it!”

Harry laughed at her excitement and he felt some rubbing his memory. It was like he had seen that smile on her before and not meaning over the past few days of them just talking. It was a feeling like he had met her a long time ago. They were so comfortable with each other it just felt like they had talked to each other before their encounter at her uncle’s flat.

“I’ve never had one,” Harry said and Georgie’s eyes widened.

“Niall never dragged you to go try one!?” she said shocked and he shrugged his shoulders.

“I don’t usually go out on tour much,” he said, “I like just relaxing in the hotel room and sleeping.”

“Really?” Georgie asked shocked, “I pegged you as an opportunist and would go out to explore a new city every chance you could get.”

“Well normally if it’s the first time we’ve been to the city I’ll go out and explore if it’s a second time I just normally just stay in and relax,” he replied and Georgie smiled.

“Sounds like a very logical explanation Mr. Styles,” she replied as he saw it was their turn to order.

“Ah I was wondering if you were going to show up today Georgie,” Jacob, one of the truck owners, smirked at her.

“Hey Jake,” she replied smiling, “Can I get two of my regulars and two cokes?”

“Of course,” he said and then his eyes widened when he saw Harry standing next to her, “Bringing famous people with you now?”

“Harry this pain in the ass is Jacob Henderson and his twin brother Cooper own this truck,” Georgie replied, “Jake meet Harry Styles.”

“Nice to meet you mate,” Harry said and Jacob nodded his head.

“You too bro,” Jacob replied.

Harry pulled out his wallet but Georgie stopped him when she saw the credit card.

“Jake’s too old school to invest in an iPhone to attach a credit card swiper thing to it so they only take cash,” Georgie replied handing Jake the exact change of what it was going to cost, “Swear he would make twice as much money if he took credit cards.”

Jacob just muttered something as Harry frowned. He never let a woman pay for dinner. He was brought up with proper manners and he was always adamant about paying for dinner. He believed that every woman should be treated like a princess when he took them out and Georgie was no exception. Once their food was finished, they walked over to the table and Harry spoke up.

“I believe I owe you money for dinner,” Harry said, “No woman should have to pay for dinner on a date.”

“Oh no,” Georgie said, “It’s not a big deal Harry. Really I don’t mind at all.”

“Nonsense,” Harry said, “We’ll stop back inside the flat complex and I’ll get some cash out of the ATM to give to you and you have no say in it.”

Georgie was about to protest but sighed in defeat and Harry smirked in triumph.

“Can’t we just call it even since you’re paying for the movie?” Georgie asked and Harry shook his head.

“Nope,” he said and then took a bite of his sandwich and moaned, “Oh my god this is amazing.”

“I told you,” Georgie smiled and giggled, “Now you’ll have to try one when you’re in Philadelphia.”

“Definitely,” Harry grinned widely.

Harry and Georgie then continued eating and flirting with each other and for the first time in a long time Georgie was having fun and letting her guard down for once. Harry was in the middle of telling a story when his phone went off. He looked down at his screen and frowned.

“Who is it?” Georgie asked.

“Tammy,” Harry said, “I wonder how she got my phone number.”

“You should answer it,” Georgie said.

“No way,” Harry said, “If it’s important she’ll leave a message. Come on we have a movie to catch!”

Harry then grabbed Georgie’s hand and they headed back to Harry’s car for the rest of the date.
