Finding Georgia Rose

Chapter Five

Tonight was Saturday and Georgie was a mess. Olivia had been for the last hour and watched Georgie pass in front of her closet back and forth.

“Georgie you two are just going to the cinema and then dinner,” she said, “You’re not marrying the poor lad.”

“But I’m going to be photographed Liv,” she groaned, “I can’t look like I normally do.”

“Breathe,” Olivia laughed at her friend, “Go shower and let me do the rest.”

Olivia was about to protest but sighed and walked into her bathroom and started showering.
After the successful day of Grimmy and Harry’s show, Harry was in the office way more and seemed to find Georgie every time she was in. Harry would also seem to help her with her work that she had to get done while just talking and getting to know her. Delilah would always make eyes at Georgie since she also knew that Georgie was the girl that Harry met all those months ago and every day Delilah talked to Georgie about having her tell Harry who she was.

“Hurry up George,” Liv yelled through her bathroom door, “You have two hours before Harry comes to pick you up!”

Georgie rolled her eyes and walked into her room to find a simple but cute outfit laid on her bed. It was one of her favorite button up shirts, a pair of light jeans, and a pair of brown boots she had found at a thrift store.

“Perfect,” Georgie smiled and hugged her friend, “Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!”

“No problem girlie,” Olivia laughed, “Now go blow dry your hair so I can braid it!”

Georgie just rolled her eyes and got her hair dried and put on a small amount of makeup. She then walked out to change into her clothes and then sat on her bed while Olivia braided her hair.

“So what’s going on with you and Niall?” Georgie asked her best friend after a few minutes of silence.

“I don’t know but I like it,” Olivia giggled, “Whatever it is. We’ve gone on a few small dates and he’s even had me over one night.”

“Livvy!” Georgie exclaimed, “You didn’t tell me that!”

Olivia laughed at her best friend’s excitement and grinned sheepishly.

“I’m sorry but you were freaking out about a certain curly haired boy named Harry,” Olivia teased, “I’m pretty sure your pretty little American head couldn’t handle another piece of information about a One Direction boy band.”

“Well is he treating you right?” Georgie asked seriously.

“Georgie,” Olivia whined and Georgie huffed.

“I’m serious Liv,” she replied as Olivia finished her hair, “You’ve gone through so much heartbreak that I don’t want you to go through it again. Niall may be famous but if he hurts you, you can damn well know I will ruin him.”

Olivia just laughed at Georgie’s overprotectiveness and she hugged her.

“Same goes for you Georgie,” Olivia replied, “I’ll beat Harry’s arse if he messes up with you.”

Georgie smiled lightly at her best friend and then were interrupted when there was a knock at the door. Georgie and Olivia walked out of Georgie’s room and they overheard James talking.

“And what do I owe the pleasure of having you two lads in my flat on a Friday night?” James asked and the girls walked in to find both Harry and Niall standing there in the hallway.

“We’re going out with them Uncle James,” Georgie giggled smiling at Harry and then Niall, “I told you this Wednesday night during dinner.”

“I now remember this fugue story,” he laughed lightly as Georgie could feel Harry’s eyes boring into her side, “Be home at a reasonable time yeah?”

“Yes Uncle James,” Georgie said kissing his cheek, “Enjoy your date with Kate.”

James smirked at his niece and winked at her which caused her to giggle and then he disappeared.

“We’ll see you two later,” Niall said, “I’m taking Olivia to the zoo after hours.”

“The zoo!” Olivia exclaimed and both Harry and Georgie laughed at Olivia’s excitement.

Olivia then dragged Niall out of the flat leaving Harry and Georgie alone.

“You look stunning Georgie,” Harry smiled at her and Georgie blushed.

“Thanks,” Georgie smiled, “You look pretty good as well.”

Harry blushed slightly and Georgie giggled as they walked out of the flat. Harry and Georgie walked side by side to the elevator and got in. Harry then turned to Georgie and she smiled warmly at him.

“The paps are already swarming,” Harry said, “I’m so sorry Georgie but it’s just. . .”

“Don’t worry Harry,” Georgie smiled at him, “My uncle is James Wilson I’ve been surrounded by paps for a while.”

Harry let out a breath he was holding in and smiled.

“I was afraid you were going to get mad at me,” he said and Georgie just smiled and shook her head.

“Not at all love,” she replied and grabbed his hand as the doors open, “You just have to run!”

Georgie then laughed as she dragged Harry through the paps and started running down the street to the park where they could lose them.

“You do this often?” Harry asked confused as they reached the park still hand in hand.

“Yeah,” she giggled, “It’s fun because the paps go crazy.”

Harry smiled at the sound of her laugh and noticed that their hands were still intertwined. Harry wasn’t going to say anything because he liked the feeling of them holding hands. Harry hadn’t had that feeling in a long time and was grateful that Georgie hadn’t noticed it too much.

“I hope you didn’t have a restaurant in mind,” Georgie said as they were walking around the park.

“Not at all actually,” Harry said, “I was going to ask you what you were feeling to eat for dinner.”

Georgie smiled and Harry smiled back.

“You mind if I take you to a truck to get dinner?” she asked and Harry shook his head no,
“Perfect. I know just the place then."
