It had been a week since the dinner party and Georgie hadn’t heard from the curly haired boy that plagued her thoughts more than normal. Today was headed into her internship with Radio1. She was the intern for Grimmy’s show producer. She had been an intern for the show for almost two years now since she started college. Her uncle started in the same business before he moved to becoming partners with Simon with the Syco label. She walked into the lobby of the station and smiled at the Jan, the secretary.

“Hey Jan,” Georgie smiled at her.

“Hey Georgie,” Jan smiled as she walked into the studio.

She said hi to the normal people she saw every time she came in and laughed when she was wrapped in a hug by one of her closest friends since moving here.

“Nick put me down,” she giggled as Nick laughed and spun her around.

“Or what Georgie?” he asked.

“Or I’ll make sure I put salt in your coffee,” she threatened and Nick quickly put her down.

“You wouldn’t,” he said narrowing her eyes.

“Try me Grimmy,” she smirked and Nick just shook his head.

“So how was the dinner party?” Georgie asked as she did her normal routine, “Any crazy stories this time?”

“No but Harry sure fancies you,” Nick said and Georgie rolled her eyes.

“Why do you say that?” she asked as she grabbed Nick’s coffee mug out of his hand.

“Because he kept asking questions about you,” Nick said following me.

“Oh really?” Georgie asked surprised, “We ran into each that night. He scared me in the kitchen.”

“Oh really,” Nick smirked.

“Yeah,” she replied nonchalantly, “What did he ask about me?”

“Nothing weird,” Nick replied, “Just what you liked and what you were like.”

Georgie turned to look at Nick who smirked.

“And he’s coming into the studio today to help co-host the show,” Nick added, “And Jon said you have to be in the studio with us so you can help us out with getting things for us.”

“You did that on purpose,” Georgie said as her stomach dropped.

“Why would I do that?” Nick smirked and Georgie narrowed her eyes.

“Georgie,” Jon’s voice entered the small kitchen.

“Yeah Jon,” she replied shoving Nick’s cup in his hands.

“Change of plans for today you have to help train the new intern,” he said, “She’s starting in about an hour.”

“Jon can’t you do that,” Nick said and Georgie looked at him with her eyes narrowed.

“No not today Grimmy,” Jon said, “I would if it was an easy show but today you have Harry in with you and together. . .”

“You’re unpredictable,” Georgie smirked at Nick.

“Jon Georgie’s been doing this for two years,” Nick reasoned, “She can handle us.”

“Okay,” Jon sighed, “Just this once.”

Nick smiled in triumph and Georgie just scowled. She needed to stay away from Harry and Nick was not helping her at all in that department. Georgie just stormed out of the kitchen and into the studio where Nick and Harry would do the show.

When she walked in, Delilah, Jon’s right hand woman, handed her the ear piece she needed.

“You don’t look to happy,” Delilah said, “Doesn’t have anything to do with a certain person coming in with Grimmy does it?”

“Dee,” Georgie sighed.

“Hey,” Delilah said, “You just need to tell him who you are maybe this would be a good thing.”

“Pfff,” Georgie scoffed, “In my dreams. You and Liv need to hang out more. You sound just like her.”

“What are you guys talking about?” a high pitched voice entered the conversations and both women turned to see a blonde girl who was dressed like she was trying to sleep with the male species.

“None of your business Tammy,” Delilah answered in a snippety tone, “Shouldn’t you be training with Jon?”

“Who is she?” the girl snapped.

“Georgia Rose,” Georgie replied, “The resident intern. You are?”

“Tammy Anderson,” the girl said, “The new intern.”

“Nice to meet you,” Georgie said politely.

Tammy was about to say something when Nick and Harry walked in.

“There you are Georgie!” Nick smiled widely at her as he hugged her again.

“You’re on thin ice Grimmy,” Georgie said and Nick knew she was still made at him because she rarely used his radio name.

“Harry you know Georgie right?” Nick asked and they both looked at each other.

Harry had this goofy grin on his face and Georgie blushed a bit.

“Nice to see you again Harry,” Georgie said.

“You too Georgie,” Harry replied.

“Hey Tammy can you help me with something?” Nick asked, “I’ll be right back.”

Nick then disappeared with Delilah and Tammy leaving Harry and Georgie in the room alone.

“So did you enjoy the party the other night?” Georgie asked trying to make small talk.

“It was alright,” Harry said, “Just another dinner party that your uncle threw. You have fun with your girls’ night?”

“Your friend fancies Liv,” Georgie smiled lightly, “Niall I believe it was.”

“You found them talking too?” Harry smiled lightly, “He fancies her a lot.”

“From how she was gushing about it that night after you all left,” Georgie smiled too, “She fancies him a lot too.”

Harry and Georgie both sat down on the couch and started talking. Talking between them was effortless for the both of them. It was just like it was when they met in October.

“What are you doing Saturday night?” Harry asked after laughing with Georgie over an embarrassing story she had shared.

“Um. . .” Georgie was thrown off guard.

Her goal was to stay away from Harry at all costs but here she was talking to him and now thinking about going out with him.

“Um. . .Nothing at the moment,” Georgie said shocked.

“Want to hang out?” Harry asked, “We can go get coffee or something.”

“Sure,” Georgie smiled, it was just coffee it wasn’t a date.

“Perfect,” Harry grinned widely showing off his dimples, “I’ll let you know a time and place?”

“Sure,” Georgie smiled.

Georgie and Harry smiled at each other and both didn’t know how excited they were to actually hang out with one another on Saturday night.
