Before You Found Me

Fox sauntered up to the counter. “What's it gonna take to get a girl some nachos?” she teased, her voice low and sultry.
Lorne turned around, a pot of coffee in his hand. He seemed disappointed when he realized who it was behind him. “Hey, Fox.”
“That's what they call me,” she winked, her finger tracing slow circles on the counter. “What do you call me?”
Lorne exhaled. “Fox, I'm at work.”
“The customer is always right.” Fox leaned over the counter, “And I think this customer needs some alone time with her boyfriend.”
Lorne looked exasperated. “Fox, if you're just here to distract me, I have to get back to work.”
“Actually,” Fox whispered, “I'm here to tell you that tonight is going to be a great night for the two of us.”
“I'm tired; I don't know if I'm up for any partying or whatever tonight.”
“I know you're always up for clean supplies. You have to work this little job to pay for groceries while your dad drinks everything else away. I know you haven't had spare cash to buy what you really want for a long time. I have what you need.” Fox cocked her head, her yellow-green eyes shaded by thick lashes.
Lorne wiped his brow and set down the coffee. “What time?”
Fox sat back, a slow smirk spreading across her face. “My place, nine,” she spoke through a crooked grin. “And don't you dare be late.” Fox tossed her curls and twirled through the door, leaving an uneasy Lorne in her wake. What was she going to get him into this night? Fox was trouble.

Nggggg! Nggggg!
Harry's phone vibrated in his pocket. Adira, Harry thought happily, answering the call. “Hello, Love.”
“Hello, Harry.”
