I have to say, it’s been 3 months (I checked) since the last review, and I still think Matt is an ass. At the moment I have typed this, I’m only at the part where she’s getting ready to go to his house. He hasn’t even been formally introduced to the story and I already know that he’s an ass. (*reads the part where Matt nearly kills her*) Yes, my initial thoughts have been confirmed: he’s definitely an ass.
Your grammar skills were adequate. I caught quite a few grammatical errors – especially in punctuation – but it’s nothing you can’t fix. I do, however, like how you have a good balance of detail and dialogue.
I did get annoyed in the beginning of Chapter 12 (your most recent chapter) when a huge portion of the beginning was one large paragraph and not separated out. It was hard to tell who was talking and what not, so make sure to double check for proper spacing before posting.
Although I’ve read countless stories (and admittedly written one) with car crashes and people being hit by a car, I’m actually really glad that Harry hit Emma with his car. Well, I’m not too happy about that, but that’s what makes me happy – it’s different!
I’ve also read cancer stories before, but they always seem to about the guy falling in love with the girl dying with cancer. However, I really did like this plot twist because he got the leukemia and not the girl. I didn’t quite favor the reactions of the people he told about his leukemia though. They were kind of lame in my opinion.
Overall, I really do enjoy your story. It was kind of basic, but you twisted some things to be different, which I really liked. I think your doing a great job so far and I can’t wait to read more. :)

But on the off chance you like what I'm telling you, I'm glad you could learn something from me.
