NIKKI'S P.O.V

i was sitting on the bed watching another rerun of 'how i met your mother' it was the 8th one i had watched on netflix in the last 2 hours. I was trying my hardest to come down from the dream I had with Noah in it. I glanced at the door when I saw something being slipped under, I brought my knees to my chest until I realized it was just a piece of paper. I slowly got up and walked towards it, I held it in my hands and walked back to the bed. I sat down and opened the letter, a smile quickly appeared on my face.

after reading Harry's letter I grabbed my phone, I typed away the number and stared at it, Harry was so incredibly nice and I should have went to dinner. I felt so guilty about skipping out on another night with the family that was protecting me. I sighed and wiped away a tear, I programmed his number and sat my phone back down.

'text him you idiot' my heart told me

'he probably just feels sorry for you' my head said

I looked around the room and ran my fingers through my hair tugging at the ends, i picked up the phone and stared at the number on the screen before hitting text

Hi Harry, its Nikki. I am really sorry I didnt make it to dinner tonight, but I hope you have a good night- Nikki

I turned my screen off and laid back down. I woke up what seemed like hours later, I looked at my phone to see 2 new texts

I was just wondering if you were awake?

I looked at my clock that said 2:57 AM, I had been asleep for atleast 2 hours, I yawned and clicked reply

a few minutes later there was a knock at the door, I looked at it for a few seconds before standing up and walking towards the door. I took a deep breath and slowly opened it
