HARRY'S P.O.V

"hi darling are you hungry" mum asked as I walked into the kitchen

"smells wonderful" i said kissing her cheek, she stirred the pasta sauce and smiled.

"set the table would you dear" she asked, i yawned and did what she asked "how was your day with Cha.....umm Nikki" she asked

"It was good, she smiled more today...seemed to be opening up a little more"

"is she coming over for dinner"

"I asked her, she said she was going to nap so hopefully"

"heyyy" Gemma said walking in, I handed her the forks and continued what I was doing

"thats really good, maybe some quality time with us will help her get over everything, did she talk to you about anything at all"

"no, I told her when she was ready I would be here to listen"

"someone have a crush" Gemma asked with a grin, I rolled my eyes at her and shook it off. I did think she was very pretty, and I really liked hanging out with her, but the girl had a lot of baggage.


During dinner I looked around the quiet table that sat myself, mum, Gemma and Robin. I looked across from me at the empty spot and frowned, why didnt she come over.

"Harry when do you meet back up with the guys" Robin asked

"next month, they are going to come stay here for a few days, maybe do some writing" I said

"does Nikki know who you are" Gemma asked

"not that I know of"

"are you going to tell her" she asked i shrugged

"I dont know I mean right now its not a big deal, plus we didnt really talk much about her life....just that her dad committed suicide, her mum died of cancer, her sister moved to Australia and her brother is in the military"

"poor thing" mum said, i nodded and got up and brought my plate to the sink, i stared out the window at the guest house, I could tell a lamp was on in the house so i figured she was awake

"im gonna go get ready, im going out with Tom and some friends tonight" i said walking up the stairs. After I got ready I took out a piece of paper

Nikki,
You didnt come to dinner tonight, not sure why but I hope you are ok. If you need someone to talk to, you can call me or text me on my american phone. I will be out with my friends tonight but I would love to hear from you. 555-8574

I folded the note up and walked down the stairs, i walked out of my house and towards the guest house. I slipped the note under the door and walked to my range rover, i thought i had made progress tonight but now im just not so sure.
