NIKKI'S P.O.V

"So what did you go to school for" harry asked as we drove down the streets of the small town, I slightly jumped and shifted in my seat. It wasn't harry that made me nervous it was people in general. I was broken, bruised, no longer myself.

"I went to school to be a counselor, I want to help kids who have lost their parents, or loved ones. I want to help adults who are in abusive relationships" I said with a quiet sigh, ya i wanted to help girls like me when I can't even help myself. The past week I didn't even know who i was anymore.

"That's amazing" he said, I looked over at him and saw him smiling, his smile was contagious and for the first time in months I had a real smile on my face "here we are" he said, I looked out the window to see a bakery

"What are we doing" I asked

"I use to work here" he said

"And now"

"Now I'm in a little band, we do gigs every so often" he said, i could hear the amusement in his voice but I nodded my head and got out of the car.

I walked close behind taking in my surroundings, something I found myself doing a lot lately. I watched from a distance as harry talked with a few older people and at that moment I really started to miss Mary and George. They had been the only people besides Noah in my life since my brother went to navy, my sister ran to Australia to get married, since my mom passed away with cancer and since my dad committed suicide just 2 years ago. I swallowed the lump that was forming in my throat.

"Ready" he asked knocking me out of my thoughts

"Oh umm ya" I said clearing my throat, he smiled and motioned for me to follow. We spent the day driving around town. Harry showed me his favorite places and seemed to have a story for everything, I even found myself giggling at times. Once we got back to the house, I climbed out of the car to be met with harry.

"Thank you for hanging out with me today" he said

"Thank you for getting my mind off of everything" I said, he smiled

"Just remember when you are ready to talk, I will be here" he said shutting my door

"I really appreciate that harry"

"Umm are you going to come to the house or what" he asked

"I'm going to take a little nap, I don't sleep very well at night" I frowned

"Ok I will see you at dinner, get some sleep Nikki" he said, I smiled and waved lightly. I watched him walk into the house before I walked into the guest house. I shut the door and found myself with yet another smile on my face. Not only was harry absolutely gorgeous but he was so incredible nice and charming.


"Hello beautiful" Noah said walking into the house, I turned and smiled "I have a present for you" he beamed

"Aww babe you didn't have to do that" i said as he put the necklace around my neck, he turned me around and kissed me hard, a little too hard "Noah your hurting me" I told him as he pinned me against the counter, I could feel the stings of his bite marks on my neck

"What is wrong with you" he yelled grabbing my hair, I winced in pain as the tears fell

"I'm sorry" I said trying to calm him down

"I buy you a expensive necklace, I try to show you passion and you are just a bitch back, you use to like it rough"

"Noah...."

"Screw you" he said throwing me to the ground.


"Nooooooooooo" I screamed sitting up in bed, my heart pounding, tears stung my eyes. I looked around at my surroundings and caught my breath. I was safe, it was just a bad dream. I ran my fingers through my hair and laid back down, the tears falling. It was 6:20...there was no way I was going to the house for dinner.
