Chapter 11
I got even more nervous as we got closer. I was definitely not ready to be chewed out by Sophia. I tried to move from Liam but his tightened his arm around me. What is he doing? Does he want to get chewed out by her?! "What the actual hell!?" Sophia screamed when we got over to her. "I-I'm.." I started to say but she cut me off. "Save it! I don't wanna here it Aubrey!" She shouted, but she didn't sound angry at me. "Why would you do such a shitty thing!?" She yelled directing her attention behind me, not at me. Niall. "What did she do to you huh?! Tell me, Niall! What did she do to make you be such a dick to her!?" She shouts louder standing up. I looked back at Niall, he looked shocked. "I-I don't know... Nothing.. She did nothing..." He admits. Wow. "Exactly, Niall! So why'd you do it?" Her voice gets softer, but still loud. "I don't want to hurt her!" He shouts and leaves. I don't know where he is going.. Paul won't back for almost two hours. He doesn't want to hurt me? How would he hurt me? I don't want to see him though, since I'm just a stupid girl he was forced to meet. Before I know what i'm doing, I'm outside following him. I watch as he sinks down against the wall and pulls out a cigarette. "Niall..." I say, but my voice is barley a whisper. He hears me though. "What Aubrey...?" He asks sounding annoying, but not towards me. I sit down beside him and pull the cigarette away before he lights it. "No. You don't need this." I say and move it before he can take it from me. "Aubrey look, I'm really sorry I just-" I cut him off before he finishes. "Well you should be sorry, Niall." I begin, He looks up at me like he's never been told he should be sorry before. "What happened with Corra?" I ask getting straight to the point. "Who told you about her?" He asks, obviously not happy. "It doesn't matter, just tell me... Please..?" I partially whisper the last part. He sighs before speaking. "Corra was a fan.. like you. She was beautiful and funny and smart and-" I don't wanna hear all that..
Niall's Pov
"I get it.." She says. "I had to go on tour... and she... she didn't want me to.."
*FlashBack*
"Niall Please!?" She shouted at me. "Corra, love... I have to." I told her feeling terrible. "But.. I... I love you..." She choked out through tears. I couldn't believe it. Did she really love me? "No you don't..." I told her. She sobbed more. "I do, Niall! I really do! I LOVE YOU!" She shouted again. I sighed.. I can't leave her like this, but everyone is waiting on me. Why did she wait til last minute to see me? "Corra.." I started but she cut me off. "Don't you love me too, Niall?" She asked me so innocently. Did I love her? I mean sure she made me happy, extremely happy, but I don't know if I love her. I need time to let this sink in. "I need time, Corra.. I don't know. I never though of it.." I admit to her. She looks sad. "I'm sorry.." I tell her honestly. "When you get back... Will you find me?" She asks quietly, tears slipping down her soft cheeks. "I'll try my best to find you, darling. I will." I tell her truthfully. "It'll give me time to think about this all." I tell her and she nods. I pull her close and hug her for the last time. She looks up at me and I kiss her forhead. "Goodbye, Corra.." I whisper to her as a tear slips down my cheek. "Goodbye, Niall... I love you.." She repeats.
*End of FlashBack*
"And that's the last time I saw her" I tell her. She looks up at me with teary eyes. "Aubrey..." I begin, but I don't exactly know what to say. "Do you love her?" She asks quietly. I don't know... Do I love her?
Aubrey's Pov
He didn't answer. That's all the confirmation I needed. I couldn't help the tear that slid down my cheek. He looked at me kind of confused. I didn't want him to see me cry again so I got up and left. As I walked back inside everyone was sitting having a conversation. "You hungry, Hun?" Eleanor asked. I just shook my head and sat down. A few minutes later Niall came in too. No one asked about our conversation outside. I was glad about that. I couldn't tell them that I was heartbroken that Niall loves Corra. We sat around in a random conversation about America until Paul tells us it's time to go. We all pile back into the car. We are going to a different airport so we have about a five hour ride. I sit in back with Niall and a sleeping Zayn. I was uncomfortable sitting with him, but I know that the boys wanted us to work things out. "Aubrey... you're mad at me.." Niall speaks up first. "I'm not mad, Niall... I'm just.. Idk" I tell him honestly. I'm not mad, i'm just hurt. I shouldn't be really cause I'm leaving and probably won't ever see him again anyways. That hit something in me, thinking about never seeing these five again. "Are you okay?" He asks me. I nod, then realize my eyes are watering. "Don't lie to me.. What's wrong love.. You can tell me. I know I'm just a stupid boy you just met, but you can tell me.." He half smiles. "I'm never going to see you again..." I blurt out, not meaning to. "Yes you will." He tries to reassure me. "You're just trying to make me feel better.." I tell him with a fake smile. "I let Corra go.. I'm not letting you go.." he tells me putting a hand on mine. I look up at him and smile. A real smile. "I don't want Corra.. Aubrey.. I want you..." I lean my head on him as my eyes begin to close. He kisses the top of my head. I feel like i'm only asleep for a minute before I hear my name being called out. I open my eyes to see Zayn in front of me. "We're here, love..." He tells me. I try to sit up but i'm being held down. I look up to see i'm laying on Niall's chest and his arms are tightly around me. I smile and lay my head back down. "Aubrey..." Zayn says again. I look up at Niall then back to Zayn. He sighs and gives me a minute. "Niall..." I whisper shaking him a little. "Not now.." he groans. I laugh and wiggle out of his grip. I grab his hand and tug for him to follow. "Just come lay with me..." He whines "Niall, We gotta go!" I laugh again. "Come on Aubrey... 5 minutes?" He says again. "No Niall we gotta go now" He just laughs. I climb out of the car and follow them to the building. "I'll try to get Niall up." Louis tells us. We sit around for about 10 minutes until the plane lady calls for us to board the plane. Louis couldn't get Niall to come. Just as we're about to get on the plane I hear Niall's voice. "Aubrey wait!" he yells. I turn and look at him. I run away from the plane and hug him. "Aubrey... Please.. Don't go.." He tells me. "Niall... I have to" I tell him. He sighs and stares at me. Suddenly his lips are on mine again. I feel alive again, like electricity. I love the feeling. Too soon though, Zoey grabs my arm. "We can't miss our flight this time..." She tells me seriously. I sigh and forcefully let go of Niall. I see sadness in his eyes as he lets go of me. I can't believe I am leaving Niall...
Niall's Pov
