Chaianne’s P.O.V
“Mr. Styles you are this child’s father.” The doctor said looking up from his paper. Maria looked at me with a smirk. Harry saw it also because he gave my hand a squeeze.
“Thank you doctor.” Harry said as all of us stood up and walked out of the room. When we got to the waiting room was when Harry spoke.
“Can I take him home with me tonight?” Harry asked her.
“You can keep him. I don’t want him now anyways. I only kept him so I could screw with you and now that I did he is no use to me.” Maria said handing me her son.
“Wow that is cruel to do to a child. Anyways what’s his name?” I asked as he began to pull on my hair.
“It’s Ethan Thomas Styles. Have a nice life.” Maria said walking out of the hospital. Harry and I shared a look.
“Why would someone do that to a child?” I asked Harry as we walked to our car.
“I don’t babe, but I do know we need a minivan ASAP.” Harry said as I placed Ethan in Kayla’s car seat until we could get him one.
“Well should we go get one before we get the kids or do you just want to drop little guy and I off at home?” I asked climbing into me seat the Harry drove off.
“We’ll go get it now. Also he heeds a car seat and we will need s stroller for 3 kids since I’m sure he can’t walk long distances.” Harry said. I nodded my head in agreement.
“We also need to get stuff for his room.” I said.
“I’ll call Gemma and see if she and Cam could get a head start on that for us.” Harry said taking hold of my hand. “I know this can’t and won’t be easy for you. I’m sorry babe.” He said bringing my hand to his lips.
“Its fine.” I said giving him a smile. We drove for a while until we got to the car dealership. I took Ethan out of the car.
“Hi.” He said as we were walking. That is the first word he has said to either Harry or I.
“Hi buddy.” I said tickling his stomach making him laugh.
“Babe I’m going to Call Gem now. You can look around.” Harry said kissing my cheek.
“Ok. Tell her to make sure that the bed has side guards on it so he doesn’t fall out of bed.” I said as he walked away. I looked at Ethan who was on my hip.
“Well buddy it’s you and I right now. Lets go find a car.” I said walking over to where the minivans were parked.
“Car!” Ethan said pointing to the minivan that I was looking at. Harry walked up behind me.
“Is this the one you want?” He asked wrapping his arms around my waist.
“Yes. It has heated seats and DVD players for the kids and the passenger seat. Ethan like it also. Don’t you buddy?” I asked him. He nodded his head like he completely agreed with me.
“Then we should get a worker and buy it then.” Harry said as he got a workers attention. While Harry went and signed the paperwork and paid for it, I took Ethan back to Harry’s car and sat waiting until Harry came back. When Harry came back he handed me the keys. We agreed that we would drive to the house then put all of the seats in the car. I put Ethan in his seat then walked to the minivan. When we got back to the house Harry helped me move the seats and then he got in the driver’s seat while I got in the passenger’s seat.
“Off to the store we go.” I said smiling back at Ethan. When we got to the store Harry picked Ethan up since the paps were coming towards us. Harry hid Ethan’s face into his chest and he pulled me closer into his side. We walked in and found Ethan a seat. Harry told me to stay in the store with Ethan while he pulls the car around to the back entrance. When he was there I hurried out with both the seat and Ethan. We hurried and put the seat in and then I buckled Ethan in and got in the passenger’s seat.
“Does your mum know yet?” I asked Harry as he drove through the swarm of paps. We were both happy that the windows were tinted.
“No so this will be a surprise.” Harry said. We drove in silence to Anne’s house. When we got there I took Ethan out of his seat and we walked in.
“Lets go meet grandma and your siblings.” I said to Ethan. When we walked in Kayla ran past with Robin following behind her.
“Hi guys.” Robin said stopping and looking at Ethan who I had in my arms.
“Hey Robin. Where’s mum?” Harry asked.
“In the living room with the twins. Who’s this little guy?” Robin asked nodding his head towards Ethan.
“I think it’s better if I tell you two together.” Harry said as we walked to the living room to find Anne playing with the twins who as of last week can sit up on their own. I handed Ethan to Harry and I went and picked Haleigh up.
“So Harry who is this?” Anne asked.
“This is Ethan my son. We have full custody because Maria didn’t really want him at all. We are going to legalize it soon.” Harry said taking hold of my hand.
“Hi Ethan.” Robin said handing Harry Colton and taking Ethan from Harry.
“Hi.” Ethan said smiling.
“So are you going to take more time off the tour?” Anne asked him. I looked at Harry wondering the same thing.
“Sadly I can’t but we still have a week so that should be enough time and he can come with Gemma and Kayla when they come.” Harry said.
“I don’t think its best that he goes on tour with you. He is two so he should be somewhere stable.” I said looking at him. He seemed disappointed but he finally agreed.
“Babe I got a text from Gemma. They finished setting up Ethan’s room. They even painted it. Also they are waiting for us.” I said. He nodded his head then went to go get Kayla.
“Are you ok with this Chai?” Anne asked me as we walked out to the car with Ethan, Colton, and Haleigh.
“Yea. I’ll treat him like I treat the other three.” I said. She nodded her head as Kayla ran out.
“Mommy!” she said running towards me.
“Hey bug. Get in and buckle up so we can go see Aunt Gemma and Uncle Cameron.” I said helping her into the car then closing the door.
“I’ll talk to you guys later!” Anne said walking back to the house as Harry and I got in the car. We drove back to the house. Harry let Kayla out and he carried Colton and held on to Ethan’s hand to help stabilize him as he walked while I carried Haleigh. I opened the door to find Gemma and Cameron making out on my couch. I cover Kayla’s eyes while Harry covers Ethan’s.
“There are children in the room. Get a room…at your house.” Harry said setting Colton down in the bouncy seat that we have for him. I set Haleigh in hers then sat on the other couch with Harry and Ethan.
“Sorry didn’t hear you guys come in.” Gemma said blushing. Harry and I shared an amused look.
“Whatever sis. This is Ethan.” Harry said. Gemma waved to Ethan and he waved back.
“Can you go check out his room because Cam and I have dinner plans with his brother and sister-in-law?” Gemma said as we walked to his room. I looked around the room and it was absolutely perfect.
“It’s perfect Gem! I love the bed you picked out also.” I said putting Ethan on his bed and he laid down.
“Glad you like it. Talk to you guys later.” Gemma said as they left.
“Well now what are we going to do?” I asked as Harry carried Kayla and I carried Ethan downstairs.
“Movies and pizza?” he asked me.
“Sounds like a plan but first lets get everyone in their pajamas. I’ll get Kayla and Ethan ready if you get the twins ready.” I said looking up at him. He nodded his head and we walked upstairs. I was carrying Kayla and Ethan and Harry was carrying Colton and Haleigh. I walked to mine and Harry’s room and changed quickly then I went to Kayla’s room and then Ethan’s. When I finished we walked to the living room. Harry wasn’t done yet so I decided to call the pizza place. They said that they would be here in 15 minutes. Harry came down holding the twins.
“I already ordered. Now time to pick the movies.” I said. Harry and Kayla picked out the movies while I got us blankets. The pizza man came and harry paid. I put a slice on a plate for Kayla and then I placed one for Ethan on a plate and cut it into pieces. I wasn’t hungry so I didn’t put any on a plate for me.
“Babe eat something.” Harry said putting a slice on a plate for me. I shoved it away from me.
“I’m fine. Now lets start “The Cat in The Hat.” I said pressing play. He rolled his eyes but continued to eat. Both Ethan and Kayla fell asleep during the movie. I let Harry carry them up while I put the twins who were half asleep in their crib. I met Harry back downstairs.
“What movie should we watch next?” Harry asked me.
“42?” I asked him. He nodded his head then went and put it in. I got under the blanket and Harry joined me and we cuddled. I felt myself begin to drift off to sleep towards the end of the movie. The last thing I heard was Harry speaking.
“Thanks for being so understanding. I’m a very lucky man. I love you.” He said before kissing the top of my head.
