I don’t see a reason why
Harry’s P.O.V
It’s my last week home and today we have to go to court so Chai and I’ll have full custody of Ethan. After court today we are going to get our family picture taken together so I’ll have something to remind me of them even though I don’t need it because they are all I think about while I’m away.
“Hey babe can you get Ethan ready while I finish getting Haleigh, Colton, and Kayla ready?” Chai asked from her spot on the floor in our living room.
“Sure. Come here little man.” I said scooping Ethan into my arms making him laugh. Ethan has really gotten attached to Chai and it’s cute. I love how accepting of him she is. It’s like he is her own child. Kayla seems to like him even though she does make him play tea party with her. I feel sorry for him because I have been through that also with Gemma. I put the clothes that Chai laid out on his bed for him and put it on him.
“Ready to go buddy?” I asked him after I put his shoes on.
“Yes daddy.” He said holding his arms out for me to pick him up. I carried him down stairs to find Chai putting Haleigh and Colton in their carriers.
“Do you think we’ll need the triple stroller or are you ok with carrying him?” Chai asked when she saw me.
“I’ll carry him. Is everyone ready?” I asked picking up Haleigh’s carrier as I carried Ethan. We all walked out to the minivan that we just bought. Kayla buckled herself and Ethan while Chain and I secured the twins in and then we got in the car ourselves.
Both Chai and I are nervous to see what the judge is going to say even though we all know I…we would be what’s best for him. Also we haven’t seen or spoken to Maria since the day we found out he was mine.
When we got into the court room Chai and the kids sat in front with mum, Robin, Gemma, dad, and Cam. When they called my case. Chai gave my hand a squeeze and then I picked Ethan up and walked to the table my lawyer was sitting at.
“So Mr. Styles it looks like everything in your house is ok but we are worried about one thing. You travel a lot is that so?” The judge said looking at me. My smile began to fall. I turned and looked at Chai and she looked worried also.
“Yes m ’am I do. When I’m away my wife stays home and takes care of our children.” I said as Ethan rested his head on my shoulder. The judge nodded her head.
“Is your wife here today Mr.Styles?” she asked me. I nodded my head and pointed to Chai. “Mrs.Styles could you please come and stand by your husband?” the judge asked. Chai handed Kayla to Gemma and walked up next to me.
“Mrs.Styles do you believe that when your husband is away you could take care of the children alone?” The judge asked her.
“Yes m’ am. I’ll also have Harry’s family to help me and some family friends.” Chai honestly answered.
“Mommy!” Ethan said holding his arms out to Chai. She smiled and took him out of my arms.
“Well Mrs. and Mr.Styles I don’t see a reason why you guys shouldn’t have full custody. If you will follow me to my chambers I’ll have the papers for you to sign and then you guys can go.” The judge said standing up. I let out a sigh that I was holding in. I looked down at Chai and she was smiling at me. She handed Ethan to dad and then we went to sign the papers.
When we were finished we thanked the judge then we left. I pulled Chai into a kiss and when we parted Chai gave me a confused look.
“What was that for?” she asked me clearly confused.
“Just because I love you.” I replied taking hold of her hand. When we walked out the building we found everyone standing around our car. When they saw us they cheered.
“Ready to go get our pictures taken?” Gemma asked. We decided that we would get pictures taken with everyone. We all were wearing either blue or white. We all nodded our heads then got in the car.
“I’m not ready for you to leave.” Chai said as we were driving. I put my hand on her knee.
“I know babe I’m not either but I have to. Anyways we still have 3 days until I leave.” I said. I saw her nod her head. The rest of the ride was silent besides the radio. When we got there everyone else was already there.
“I’m proud of you son. Chai I’m also proud of you for taking this all in and still staying.” Mum
said hugging us.
“Harry can’t get rid of me that easily.” Chai said hugging my side.
“Well if we are ready lets go.” Dad said. We walked in and I told them that our appointment was under Styles. The photographer nodded his head.
“You guys wanted your pictures done at a park right?” the photographer whose name is Dave asked us.
“Yes. So we’ll meet you there.” I said. He nodded his head and we once again loaded the cars. To help save gas Gemma and Cameron got in the care with us.
“How does it feel to have 4 kids at the age of 19?” Gemma asked me.
“It’s unexpected but I wouldn’t change it for anything in the world.” I replied turning into the parking lot of the park. We got there before the others so we let Cam and Gem push Kayla and Ethan on the swings as Chai and I sat on the bench holding Colton and Haleigh.
“Kayla will be starting school soon.” Chai said watching them.
“I know. I’m going to try to be here for her first day.” I replied.
“That would be good. I was also thinking about putting Colton, Haleigh, and Ethan in daycare and getting a job while you’re gone.” She said looking at me.
“I don’t want you to get a job. I can support us. I don't see a reason why you want one?” I asked her. She sighed.
“Never mind forget it. The others are here.” Said walking over to where the others were. I followed her.
“Looks like we are ready to go.” The photographer said. The first picture we took was if all 11 of us together with mom, Robin, and dad in back, Gemma and Cameron in the middle, Chai and I in front of them holding Colton and Haleigh and then sitting in front of us was Kayla and Ethan. We were on steps so you could see everyone. The pictures took 3 hours and when we were done we agreed to go out to dinner to celebrate.
“Hey babe. What made you say that you wanted a job?” I asked Chai as we drove to the restaurant.
“We’ll talk about it later. Just forget it for now.” Chai said shrugging it off but it still bothered me. When we got to the restaurant we all sat and ordered. Dinner was fun and we all laughed and celebrated. We had to leave at 7:30 so we could get the kids to bed. We gave everyone a hug and then left. When we got home we gave each of the kids baths and then put them to bed. Chai took a shower first and then I did.
When I was finished I walked down stairs to find Chai on Skype with the girls. She didn’t see me so I walked back around the corner to hear what she was saying.
“I know girls but it still hurts. Maybe they are right.” I heard her say.
“They aren’t right. You would love him anyways and he loves you.” I heard Jessie say.
“Anyways what did he say when you brought it up?” Kaitlin asked.
“He doesn’t want me to get one. I want to prove them wrong though.” She replied and I could tell she was about to cry. I decided to text Liam to find out if he knew what was wrong.
“He’s right. You don’t need to. Right now is your time to bond with Ethan and the twins.” Kirsten.

I went to my twitter app and say that the fans were saying she only married me for my money and things like that.
“I don’t know girls. I might get one once he’s gone. I still have to decide. He should be coming down soon. I should go and check on the kids also. Tell the boys I said hi.” Chai said.
“Will do! Tell Harry we said hi. Love ya girly.” The other girls said.
“Love you guys too.” Chai said. I then heard her close her laptop. I walked up two steps then walked back down to the living room.
“Hey I just checked on the kids babe.” I said sitting down and pulling her onto my lap.
“Thanks.” She said staring out into space.
“I know what the fans have been tweeting you and I figured that is why you want a job. I know that isn’t the reason why you married me. It doesn’t matter what they think.” I said pulling her closer to me.
“I know babe but it’s just so hard not to let them get to me.” she said turning and looking at me.
“I know babe. We should get to bed since we had a busy day.” I said as she yawned.
“But I’m not tired.” She said yawning again. I looked at her and she laughed. “Ok so maybe I’m a little tired.” She replied.
“Lets go to bed.” I said helping her up. When we got to our room she got in bed while I turned out the lights. I then climbed into bed and she cuddled into my side and I kissed the top of her head.
