Harry’s POV:
Maria came back with a bottle of wine and two glasses and there was a male, about two years older than Gabby and I, behind her.
“This is Mark, he will be your server.” Maria smiled and poured Gabby wine.
“Thank you.” She smiled.
Maria smiled back and poured me wine. I smiled at her, a weak smile, but it was still a smile.
“Well, have fun, and say goodbye before you leave. Your check is already taken care of.” She left us with Mark.
“Anything else to drink at the moment?”
“Water, please?” Gabby asked so politely.
“Make that two.” I added.
“I will be right back with those.” Mark left us with a smile.
Gabby sipped her wine, giving me a dirty look.
“What, Gabby? Why are you looking at me like that?”
She shook her head, “Your friend?”
“I didn’t know what else to call you. You mean more to me than just a friend.”
“I would hope so.” She looked down. “You called have called me your date.” She said so quietly, I almost didn’t hear her.
“Gabby, look at me.”
She slowly looked up, “What?”
“You are not just a friend to me. I panicked. I have never done this before so I don’t really know what to do or say.”
She smiled at me, “Sorry, I forgot. I’ll let it go this once, Styles.”
I loved it when she called me that. It was her way of joking around with me and trying to be intimidating at the same time. It was a lame attempt, but it made me smile every time. “What are you getting?” I asked her.
She shrugged, “No idea. The menu is so big.” She had her large menu in her small hands. Mark came back with our water and told us he would be back in a few minutes to take our order.
“Gabby, I just-“
“Harry?” I heard a loud voice boom from behind me. “Harry, is that you?”
I turned around and saw my father, “Yeah, dad. It’s me.”
“Wow, I haven’t seen you in so long.” He was standing right in front of our table.
“That happens when you kick someone out.” I said dryly. I felt Gabby kick my leg softly under the table. I didn’t know if she wanted me to be nicer or to introduce her. I decided it was both.
“Dad, this is Gabby, she is my date for tonight.” I was sure not to mess that up.
Gabby smiled at him, “It’s nice to meet you.”
“You are beautiful, surprised Harry could snatch you up!” He laughed at his own dumbass joke. It was cute when Gabby did it, but I hated when my father did it. I hope Maria wasn’t the one who sent him out here. I told her I would say goodbye to him.
Gabby laughed along with him, “Well, he was close to not getting me to go out at all!”
I shot her a dirty look, what did she even mean by that?
“Well, dad I think our waiter will be coming back soon, I will see you before we leave.”
“Alright, son. It’s good to see you so happy.”
I rolled my eyes as he patted me on the back and walked away.
“He seemed very nice, Harry.”
“He isn’t what he seems to be, Gabby. Don’t let him fool you.”
“Don’t let my father fool you either then.” She added with a worried look.
I took another sip of wine and my first glass was already gone. I wondered how I had drunken all that wine in such a short amount of time. I was starving too, and the wine was hitting me very hard. I was already starting to get drunk. Nothing good ever happened when I was drunk.

i was so close to not updating today!! ugh, school gets in the way of fanfiction. :) but i found time to write a short little chapter, better than nothing right? sorry its so late too, well for me it is, its already 9:30 and i like to update around 6:30 my time, but hey like i said, better than nothing! :) i hope you guys liked this update, i know its getting slow, but the next update i think will be long and much much more interesting! ;) but keep commenting because i love reading them :)
