Harry’s POV:
“Harry! That is already your third glass, and we have only been here for about twenty minutes.” Gabby tried to warn me.
I nodded my head, “Well, to get through this night here, I will need a lot to drink.”
“Why? I thought you wanted to be with me?” Her face had confusion written all over it.
I put down my glass. I was going to get another glass, but I could hear my words slurring slightly. “I do want to be with you. You’re right. The place shouldn’t matter, as long as I am with you. My father just puts me in this mood, I cant explain it...” I smiled at her; hoping she would let it go.
She smiled back at me, “So what are you getting?!” She asked with more excitement in her voice.
I looked at my menu, “No idea. I might ask…” I trailed off as I looked at the man coming around to every table. Great, it was my clean cut, goodie goodie, step brother, Josh. The last thing I wanted was for him to come to our table.
“Harry?” I heard his deep voice say.
“Josh.” I didn’t even try to sound slightly excited.
He came closer to our table, “I’m Josh, Harry’s step brother.” He extended his hand to Gabby, who clasped onto it and shook his hand.
“Gabriella, but everyone calls me Gabby.” She smiled back. “I didn’t know Harry had a step brother.”
She looked over at me, “I don’t like to talk about him.” I replied, very annoyed.
She rolled her eyes and turned back to Josh, “So, Josh. How old are you?”
“Same as you guys, eighteen.”
She smiled, “Do you go to Boston High School?”
“No.” He smiled, “But I am transferring. My grades at BC High are not great. I need a less…demanding program.”
“You will love Boston High…right Harry?”
I grunted in agreement. I thought this was a date for Gabby and I, not for her and Josh.
“What are you guys getting for dinner?” He questioned.
“We both have no idea, everything looks so good!” Gabby exclaimed. She was too nice for her own good.
“How about I put in two of the house specials, just so guys don’t have to ponder over this large menu?”
“We can-“ I began to put my foot down.
“That sounds great!” Gabby interjected before I could get my full sentence out. She closed her menu, as did I, and Josh took them from us.
“Perfect, have a nice night.”
“You too!” Gabby called after him as he walked to the next table.
I sighed loudly, trying to get Gabby to recognize that I was annoyed.
“What Harry?”
“You were totally flirting with him!” I tried to sound less upset than I really was. It wasn’t working.
“I was not.” She protested. “I was being friendly. It’s sad that you consider that flirting.”
“Then what is flirting for you?”
“If I was flirting, you would know.” She bit her bottom lip as she said it. I thought I was gonna go insane. She was absolutely gorgeous, she was the woman I’ve always wanted.

oh my gosh, how long has it been since i've updated?! ((too long!)) but seriously i am very sorry i havent updated in like two days ((it feels so much longer than that!)) but i have been so busy with school work and i havent had any time to write. i finally had some down time tonight to write, but i still have homework to do, but i felt as if i needed to update because i love you guys! but as you can see there is a new character ;) i hope you guys like the story so far, and if you guys want another update tonight, just post a comment! :) i love you all <33
